Multigenerational Ski Trip

Our family (wife/infant daughter, parents and brother) stayed in this lovely home over a long weekend. The host answered all questions ahead of time, and remained in contact throughout the stay. The location is great - a short walk to ski slopes, and a short drive to Lake Harmony. The home was very clean and well-stocked, with an amazing hot tub room. Everyone had a great time and we would absolutely stay with this host at this property again!

Pocono getaway

We had a wonderful time at this property, very cozy, spacious and comfortable for our family of 7. The host was very responsive and made us feel taken care of. We only stayed one night but could have easily enjoyed a longer weekend.

Weekend in the Poconos

We had a great long weekend stay here. It was clean and very spacious for our family of 8. The location was quiet and cozy and close to a lot of activities. We highly recommend this home for your next stay.

Great ski stay

Great location. Short walk to the slopes where you can ski down to the lifts. Plenty of space with a nice wood burning fireplace and an indoor hot tub. Owner decorated for the holidays and the house has everything you could possibly need.

We had a great stay, I have nothing bad to say. The location to Jack Frost slopes was great, the house was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The owner was very prompt with communications and answering questions as well as very flexible with our check out. I highly recommend this place and would absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful summer long weekend

This cabin was the perfect spot for a long weekend away with friends and to celebrate my daughter’s 2nd birthday. There was plenty of space for 4 adults and 3 children. We look forward to returning during the winter!

Lovely weekend trip

The owner's communication was excellent, and she really went above and beyond to make sure we had the information we needed and were comfortable upon arrival. The cleaners missed a few surfaces, but nothing major. Overall, the house was lovely and just what we needed for a long weekend away.

Winter get away

My family and our friends stayed at Laura's house following the Christmas holiday. Our stay was great. The house was clean, the hot tub was perfect, and all sheets and towels were provided. Despite the rainy weather, our kids were still able to ski. The ski in and ski out at the end of the cul de sac was clutch! We hope to return when there is more snow!

I highly recommend this house.

The house was great. It was clean, great location. The drive to the beach and pool was 20 minutes. Everything you need is 10 min away. It was quiet. The property manager was quick to reply and very accomodating. We had an amazing vacation.

Great Weekend Getaway

We had a great time at our weekend getaway. Even though the house sleeps many more than this, it was our family of 4. Teenager was happy because he got the entire top floor. House was adorably bear themed! Windows and natural light were amazing. Kitchen was very easy to work in and had plenty of space to cook and prepare meals as well as plenty of places to dine. Living room was super cozy we weren’t there long enough to enjoy the fireplace. We are skiers, so stayed out on the slopes as long as we could. House is near the slopes and near a ski lift so that was super easy and convenient. It was nice coming back to our cozy little place after a long day/night of skiing. Would 100% recommend and would 100% stay again. Laura was an amazing host and very attentive and accomodating to our crew.

Perfect weekend getaway

Exactly as listed. Short walk to slopes or 2 min drive to resorts parking area. Great place for large families or multiple families. Kitchen is well appointed, family room is spacious, beds are comfortable, and the hot tub is enjoyable after a day on the slopes. We will definitely be staying again. Can't say enough about the hosts communication. Laura was great and very accommodating.

Great Slopeside Getaway

Stayed for a long weekend with close friends and family. This was one of the cleanest VRBO's I have stayed at to date. Laura was a great host who made herself easily available for any questions. The house is large and spacious and easily fit our entire group. A quick walk across the cul-de-sac, down a short trail, and you find yourself slope side! We all enjoyed our time here so much we plan on going again next ski season and probably even this summer to get some white water rafting in on the Lehigh!

A great time was had by all!

My BFFs and I spent a long-overdue, lovely weekend together in this beautiful “retreat.” In addition to providing all of the comforts of home, Laura’s special touches made it obvious that this is truly a home … not just a rental property. Great place for a weekend getaway or more

Everything was exactly as advertised. Our trip was for a bicycle run at the Lehigh Valley State Park. We couldn't have enjoyed stay more. We made and ate breakfast and dinner both days at the house and the kitchen had everything we needed. The dining and living room were charming and well appointed and the working fireplace helped make for a relaxing after dinner time together. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms had good hot water and water pressure and the hot tub worked great and was a godsend after the 26 mile bike ride. We are thinking about coming back to the area next summer and if so, we will definitely look to return to this inviting home away from home.

Amazing Jack Frost Home

AMAZING is the way I would describe this beautiful home that we rented! This home is a Home away from Home. Every little detail has a special touch from the owners. We had so much fun skiing at Jack Frost and being able to walk down the trail and popping right onto the slope. Easy to go back for lunch and go back and ski. The house was extremely clean, amenities provided were excellent. Top Notch and highly recommend! Excellent communication with the host as well. Thank you so very much for everything! Christy

Memorial Day 2023

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Poconos this Memorial Day Weekend. The house was spacious and comfortable. We had 5 adults and everyone was able to spread out and have their own space when needed. Laura was absolutely wonderful and communicated from the beginning to the end. We traveled to Jim Thorpe which was about 30 minutes away and took a train ride which was wonderful and beautiful. The town itself was a fun to walk around and plenty of good food and shops. Jack Frost Mountain was very secluded which was great. Split Rock which is across at the light has restaurants and other things to do. Thank you again Laura for allowing us to stay in your lovely home. Definitely would stay here again.

Wonderful getaway

We met up with family for a beautiful holiday getaway. The home was lovely, and the entire family enjoyed a nearby hike and trip to do some skiing at Jack Frost. We enjoyed warming up in the hot tub. Great getaway!

The convenience of walking to slopes, the beautiful view of the Mountains, sipping coffee from the covered deck in all weather overlooking the beautiful trees, relaxing in front of the fire place, warming up in the cozy hot tub room...all the things we love most. We are from Long Island New York but love our PA Mountain Home in Lake Harmony. It is our family vacation home that we take so much pride in and we hope your family will enjoy it as much as we do.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We looked at so many homes in PA and this one was just perfect in size and location. Our home has a rustic cozy feel, yet the floorplan is so open and spacious. The bedroom and living space is the best we've seen. The area is so peaceful, yet 2 minute walk through path to slopes at Jack Frost while enjoying all the amenities of Big Boulder and Lake Harmony in the spring and summer months. Just perfect for everything we were looking for.

The beautiful village is walk to slopes, private, quiet and serene. It wasn't over commercialized. It's a great family setting but yet so close to all amenities, skiing, tubing, golfing, restaurants, outlets, casinos, waterparks. Truly fun for the entire family
