Ta sig bort till Stony Mountain Chalet ligger i Towamensing Trails-En nyare, rymlig 2 våningar exklusiv stuga i ett privat sjögemenskap med alla bekvämligheter i hemmet. Huset har stort vardagsrum med högt tak, stort däck med propangrill och utemöbler, gas spis och TV i alla 4 sovrum. Två sovrum på första våningen med queen size-sängar i varje rum. Sovrum på övervåningen har queen size-säng och master bad bifogas. Ytterligare sovrum på övervåningen har två dubbelsängar. Det finns tre badrum i full storlek. Nya färdig källare med pingisbord, Foosball, Air hockey bord, brädspel, TV med DVD och tvättmaskin / torktumlare i separat rum.
Närheten till skidområdena Big Boulder och Jack Frost. och ca 25 min till Camelback. Lokala aktiviteter inkluderar skidåkning, vandring, mountainbike, ridning och fiske. 15 min från Pocono Race Track och 3 område golfbanor och nära till kasinot. Nationalpark och forsränning i närheten. Tanger Outlets ligger inom 30 minuter. Hyresgäster måste vara 25 år eller äldre för att hyra. Högst 8 märken tillåts av föreningen för bekvämligheterna vid sjön / poolen och klubbhuset. Ytterligare ägarmärken (4) kan lånas från oss för veckan om det behövs. Dessa måste returneras för att undvika extra avgift.

Perfect Book Club Getaway Weekend

Beautiful home!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. Clean, spacious, and a kitchen with all the things you might need to cook meals for the family. Great deck with plenty of room. Lots of wildlife in the area - we saw deer, a black bear, fox, and chipmunks, A fun time for all!

Nice place and location

We enjoyed our stay at the house, it had plenty of cooking items so that we could enjoy meals together. It was very clean, and from the house we could see wildlife such as deer and bears. It was just about 30 minutes to an hour from most things you would want to visit in the Poconos, so we felt it was a good location. We enjoyed the pool and lake one day as well.

The properties owners were great, the house was perfect for the 12 of us. The mountains are close by for fun day trips. We would definitely stay there again.

Lovely neighborhood

We appreciated that the house had a basement full of games (football, air hockey and table tennis). The couch and beds were very comfy. We loved being able to eat outside on the patio. It was lovely to have swimmable lake and pool in the community a short drive away. It would have been helpful to know the house didn’t provide a weeks worth of TP and paper towels. .

Awesome house

We had a great time. This was a holiday celebration for a family that is spreading out across the country. House is clean, basement is fun with ping pong, foosball, and air hockey. We saw a lot of deer. Owner had the house decorated for Christmas which was great.

Wonderful!

Family of 6 visited and had a great vacation! Kim was always great at getting back to me when I had questions prior to and during our trip! Beautiful location, greeted by a momma doe and her two babies as soon as we arrived! Thank you for a great week!

Most excellent hosts

Our family of adult children and teenagers had a great long weekend getaway "snowcation". Dave and Kim were the absolute best hosts we have ever had. The house had plenty of room for all of us and the boys loved the game room downstairs. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals for our large family all weekend.

The house was exactly as the pictures showed, maybe even better. Dave and Kim were wonderful to work with and were prompt answering texts. Great for adults and families alike. Bedrooms were great sizes and the primary bedroom was something out of a magazine. The house was immaculate. Definitely going back

Perfect fit for all our needs!

House was perfect for a mini ski vacation. Everyone had a great time. Dumpsters on a set schedule made it impossible to dispose of the garbage. Otherwise all accommodations were perfect. Thank you and looking forward to another visit in the future.

Enjoyed Our Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay however, we feel that we could have been told that the basement was not heated. The game room was located in the basement. There was a thermostat on the main floor, but if you set it higher, the other floors get too warm. Other than that, the house was clean and cozy!

Great family get away

We were looking for a place that would accommodate our family. Most of the week there were 6 of us but for a couple of days we were 10. This home was large enough to accommodate all of us. The game room was a huge hit. Had a great time at the pool and the beach. All in all a perfect place to relax. Thank you Kim and Dave.

Enjoyable, relaxing vacation with family

This rental exceeded our expectations. Our 3 young children loved the house, especially playing in the game room downstairs, checking out the different puzzles and games, or just hanging out watching tv in the living room. This was a great base for us to explore the nearby lake (paddle boating was fun) and take day trips to Knoebels, Hickory Run State Park, horseback riding at Daisy Field Farm, and other fun activities. Kim was great and responded promptly to any questions or concerns we had.

Great time in the Poconos

Dave and Kim have hosted a wonderful property in the Poconos for family and friends alike. They were easy to get a hold of and very responsive to questions. The property itself is in a good location and has access to many interesting local destinations. It's a great home with a game room in the basement, which is fun for those rainy weather days. We didn't take advantage of the kitchen, but it seemed like it had everything that you could possibly need. Btw, booklets/brochures were left for fun activities to do in the area. My family and I had a wonderful time in the Poconos!

3 Generations of Very satisfied guests

Ideal layout satisfied everyone at all times. Everybody loved the first floor open floor plan for extended family time. Everybody also loved the "kid friendly" basement for the time when having 3 generations under 1 roof became a bit too much during an all day rain :-) Those who had a working vacation were thrilled with the internet strength & reliability. Wonderful hosts, too. Our only regret was that our schedules wouldn't allow us to stay longer. Thanks so much, Kim & Dave!

Perfect Girls weekend getaway

Our group consisted of six ladies who were taking the weekend to reconnect, chat, relax, and visit Jim Thorpe. This property was perfect. It offered plenty of space for us to spread out and for most of us to have our own bed.. The main living area is large and open and very comfortable. That is where we spent the majority of our time when we were at the house. The kitchen is well stocked with anything that you might need to prepare your own meals in the house. There is also a lower level with additional seating, foosball, ping pong, and air hockey. It ended up snowing a bit the first night that we were there and that was a beautiful sight to see. We also saw tons of deer in the neighborhood. We were there a bit before prime season, but the neighborhood seems very quiet and family friendly. And the houses are spaced apart to allow for privacy. Our group came with two cars and there was plenty of space for easy parking and unloading when we arrived. We enjoyed using the propane fireplace on the main level. It really added to the ambience and feeling of coziness while we were there. Also Dave and Kim were very helpful with any questions that we had and responded quickly. It is obvious that they have taken a lot of time and care creating a welcoming and comfortable environment. We also visited the town of Jim Thorpe on Saturday afternoon, which was an easy 20 to 25 minute drive. We definitely recommend this lovely property .
