The worst

I’m still waiting for my refund. It was very dirty. It didn’t even look like the same property. The host never answered the phone. The one towel that he provided was dirty. The linen was dirty and smell so bad. I has to go to Walmart to get something to lay on. Something was bitten me. And I have pictures I will rate it a zero. But this app won’t let me

We had to make lemonade with this lemon. 3 of us checked in. Only 2 towels were provided for our week stay. 1 coffee cup, no knives (we had to use a butter knife to cut avocados and onions for morning omelets). The floor was filthy. Some places looked like a mechanics shop. My wife’s feet were black that first evening from the filth. Blood drops on the bathroom floor. Our first evening we went to Walmart for towels, mugs and a bathroom floor mat. The host didn’t attempt to resolve these issues until our 3rd night. I refused as we took care of the problems via Walmart. The bedroom A.C. flooded the floor. We had to put the A.C. on fan only. Major accumulation of dust, I cleaned up some in the conspicuous areas. The furniture has very conspicuous stains and no extra blankets or sheets to cover these areas. The garage was a blessing as parking in San Juan is nonexistent. The gate controller is very difficult to use but it does work. The laundry room for the building was appreciated. Good light in the unit. The T.V. only accepted the internet one evening. All of our devices worked fine with the unit’s WiFi. When we checked out, the key box was set to the opening code. How many people have it? Thus we refused any entry while we were not in the unit. I suggest a short stay if this is the only place available. I bought the insurance. Leaving $5K with the host refunding at his discretion seemed wrong. We left the unit in better shape than we found it.

Not a bad place too stay

My overall stay was okay. It was difficult to locate the lockbox to enter the building when we first got there but when we finally got into the apartment it was nice and clean. The pool wasn’t operational at all so that was disappointing. The neighborhood was okay but not the closest to the tourist attractions and old San Juan. We asked to have a later checkout time because our flight was delayed and never got a response so that was disappointing but over all not a bad place to stay.

My name is Jose and I live with my wife Livia, and 6 year old daughter Colette in Guaynabo. We are both in real estate/property management and have been for many years. We were both raised in New York City and met each other in Puerto Rico. We love the Island and want everyone who visits our island to enjoy it like a local! Our goal is to provide the type of experience we would want when traveling to another city.....which if you’re a tourist is the same quality of accommodations as a hotel at a much lower cost, with local tips and suggestions on how to navigate the neighborhood/island.

I currently have around 20 units listed and will likely have more by Spring of 2020, so keep your eye out for new properties. I am always around to help when needed, so if you have any issues, be sure to reach out.

A cozy apartment in the Financial District. The apartment has two bedrooms one of them with a Full bed and the other with a futon. There is one equipped bathroom, living room with a flat-screen TV, surround sound and some DVD’s and a full kitchen.
The apartment complex has a pool that can be used until midnight. There is an assigned parking space for the apartment and there is security 24/7.
Kitchen: It has a stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, magic bullet blender, and cooking materials. Suitable for preparing any type of food. There is no oven.
Living room: From the pictures, you can see the sofas, flat TV, and entertainment center.
Room A: That is the master bedroom, it has a queen bed and one dresser, two nightstands and a closet.
Room B: Has a full bed and a closet.
Bathroom: Shower and toilet.
