Quiet and Comfortable
Timberlawn is a nice place to stay. The neighborhood and complex are quiet, we felt safe, and the grounds are well kept. We felt like we were in a garden, as there were lots of colorful flowers and trees everywhere. The pool was clean, the apartment was the perfect size for two people, and Thomy, the property manager, was responsive and attentive.
The unit had a fireplace which made the place cozy when it was cold. When it warmed up, we were surprised that the lower units did not have A/C, but the property manager brought over a huge fan, and the unit stayed surprisingly comfortable.
There are bus stops within walking distance from the unit, and the complex is directly across the street from Microsoft. There is a nice park with access to Lake Sammamish not too far away (Idylwood Park), as well as Marymoor Park, which has a climbing wall and trails, among other things to do.
Check-in was easy. There was a box we were able to access when we arrived that had an envelope with our keys, wifi password, etc. inside of it. The unit was stocked with starter toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, shampoo, dish soap, and laundry soap. I was impressed with how thoughtfully organized everything was. Having the key drop made checking out easy as well.
We will definitely consider Timberlawn the next time we are in the Seattle area.
