Newly renovated lake front cottage ready for family memories to be made. New kitchen, flooring and fresh paint throughout this immaculate 4 bedroom/2 bath home. Sitting on a quiet bay directly off the lake means you can swim, kayak and relax without worry. Three decks provide ample space for enjoying coffee or sipping wine with friends and family. Until the winter of 2023-24, starting January 1st and ending in March 31st, the lake will be lowered by 12 feet to allow for lake maintenance.

The Space:
Two bedrooms and one full bath are on each floor. Gather in the open floor plan around the large dining table for 8 or cozy up to the island for two. The two slip boat house already holds 6 kayaks, 1 paddle board and life jackets for use. The main floor has a queen bedroom and two twin bedroom all with new linens. The full bath has been completely updated and includes a bath/shower. The main living space has large tv, gas fireplace and comfortable seating. The lower level has two full bedrooms also with new linens, a game room, laundry and a full bath with shower. There are many stairs to access the boat house, but upper and middle decks are easily accessible.

Lake Lure, North Carolina, has everything an outdoor enthusiast looks for in a hometown. Adventures await on the lake itself, including boating activities, fishing, and beach swimming. Explore the old Chimney Rock camp turned residential area called Firefly Cove. It’s here the iconic movie Dirty Dancing was filmed, including the classic watermelon carrying scene. The famous lift scene was shot right here in the lake. You can also take in the natural beauty of the Lake Lure Flowering Bridge. Experience the trails at Buffalo Creek Park, or stroll through the town of Lake Lure to take in the amazing scenery of mountain landscapes. Whether you’re into rock climbing or picnics in the park, you’ll find your slice of heaven right here in Lake Lure. Streams, forests, and glorious waterfalls are right in your backyard here, making for a wonderful community.
