Detta charmiga sjöhem har ett öppet kök, matsal och familjerum. Perfekt för att umgås efter en dag på vattnet. Bara 5 minuter till Bald Mountain Golf Course, Rumbling Bald Resort på sjön.

Det finns tre sovrum och två och ett halvt bad på huvudnivån och ett fjärde sovrum med badkar på den lägre nivån.

Detta sjöhus 1935 ligger i en rymlig, lugn vik med en svagt sluttande gård mot vattnet. Den dubbla slip-täckt båt brygga med 450 kvadratmeter däck med vacker utsikt över Rumbling Bald Mountain. Kör ända fram till bakdörren, plus mycket små steg till sjön. Mycket bra ..... Stora sjön hem!

Lake life is wonderful!

We enjoyed our week at this cozy home with great access to the lake. My elderly parents were able to walk to the lake every day enjoying the view from the dock. The deck upstairs was nice and shady on days when it was hot and sunny. We think our dogs enjoyed it the most chasing balls in the water!

Family Fun

What a great vacation. Everything we needed was provided. LOVED the waterfront and beautiful views, and use of the paddleboard, kayak, pedal boat, splash pad, and also rented the pontoon boat. Made great memories! Saw deer in the yard. Even the dogs loved it. Thank you for a wonderful week.

Lake stay

Great times had by all, enjoyed the location, nice quiet cove, used the pontoon, learned to paddle board, went kayaking and canoeing. Used the fire pit, close to Chimney Rock

Relaxing getaway with college age children

When we wanted a lake vacation I immediately thought of this property we stayed at 4 years ago and had a wonderful time. It’s not a luxury property but it is comfortable and clean and has everything you need and more…plenty of beds, fully stocked kitchen, view of the mountains from dock, and you can see the dock from the house. Lake access is directly behind house and you can walk right into lake. We traveled with our college age daughters and two dogs and had a wonderful time enjoying paddle boarding and we rented the owners pontoon boat. We will definitely return again!

Great Stay!

We had a relaxing vacation at this lake house. The kitchen was well stocked, and we had fun with the canoe and paddle boards. Our dogs LOVED jumping off the dock and swimming?

Paradise on Lake Lure

We have rented numerous other lakefront houses on Lake Lure. The fact that this was our third straight year at this property tells the story about how much we love it. One cannot beat its close proximity to the lakefront; the very few steps one has to navigate; and the spacious, nice layout of the house and its amenities. Also, Jon and Gail are terrific hosts ! One cannot go wrong with rental of this property.

Family Vacation.

Most everything you need for water activities is available.The house is perfect for family gatherings.You won't want to leave. A very well equipped kitchen.It is a very lovely place in a beautiful setting.

Beautiful lakefront property.

Property was exactly as pictures presented it. There was every "water toy" available and house was well equipped. The owners were responsive and easy to work with. Our family and fur babies had a wonderful time.

Could Not Be Better

Second straight year we have stayed here. Will be back ! What a wonderful house in a great location. Clean, well-equipped, and so conveniently close to the lake Nice pontoon boat at the dock if one wishes to rent it and plenty of other water recreational equipment. Jon and Gail, the owners/hosts are so very nice and responsive. We highly recommend this property !

Great location to many areas

The bellows were super quick in their response to any questions asked. The view from the dock is breathtaking and worth the stay all it itself! We didn’t spend much time at the property as we were visiting family in surrounding areas but we enjoyed the time we did have there. Wished for snow but didn’t happen this go around ☺️ Weather was fantastic though!

Perfect!

We chose a perfect week to stay! The weather was wonderful, it was very quiet and so relaxing. The property is beautiful. The screened in porch was our favorite hang out place. The only thing missing was a swing. Lol We were even offered early check in and late check out. We'll definitively stay again.

Perfect lake front home

Our family had the best Memorial Day weekend at Gail and Johns lakefront home. The house was clean and well equipped. We loved the use of the boat house, kayaks, paddle boat, canoe, I could go on. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We will be back!

Absolute Bliss

Jon and Gail's Lake Lure house was splendid. Nice quiet cove. Right on the water with easy access to the dock and water. Also had a ramp right into the water (heard at least one boater comment that they thought that was cool - and so did we!) And the owners were great to work with. Thanks for everything Jon & Gail! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! (as long as you don't take our week next year!)

Pictures don't do this place justice!

This is such a great vacation home/location!. We were only minutes from Chimney Rock. But equally as memorable was just hanging out at the home kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, and relaxing! Even the ambiance of the screened-in patio was inviting and relaxing. The home had everything we could possibly need for ourselves and our dog! The home and grounds were so well cared for! My only complaint is that we didn't stay long enough!

Fall at Lake Lure

I had family over from England and France for a family wedding and after I wanted to take them somewhere to show them how beautiful NC is in the Fall. I couldn’t have chosen a better location and house. The views were breathtaking and we had so much fun on the lake in the canoe, kayak and paddle boards supplied by our hosts. The house had everything we needed and the kitchen was so well stocked. Very clean and a good layout for a large group. We have already booked to return next July.

Annual Mountain trip with College Buddies & wives.

Great Property. Enjoyed relaxing at Lake Lure & getting caught up with everyone. I started this reunion last year when I learned that my College Roommate,Ned, had Inoperable prostrate cancer. Richard & I grew up together at Myrtle Beach & ended uo rooming together in College. Just don't get to see them enough. Great Weekend . House perfect. !!!

All Around Awesome!

Our family had the BEST time at this lake house! The Bellows provided so many lake toys-canoe, kayak, paddle boards, paddle boat, floats/noodles, and a pontoon boat to rent. We were so busy having fun playing, floating and just hanging around looking at the gorgeous view we didn't even leave the property unless we had to go to the grocery store. The lake was so accessible with cemented paths and there was plenty of parking. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with what we needed to cook dinner each night-plus a nice grill and fire pit. Our family of 6 made lots of memories here! We highly recommend this wonderful lake house.
