Minimal and basic

Smaller than than it looked in the pictures. We did not receive our "welcome" email until 630 pm and check in was at 4. Within this email we were informed that there was no washcloths provided, because it was " unsanitary ", but they left us 2 used loofahswere informed and a sour scrubber sponge in the kitchen. There waonly 1 extra roll of toilet paper, only 4 dishwasher pods for a 4 day stay and we had to run the dishwasher after every meal due to there being only 4 place settings. Things that were not provided, no wash clothes no wash rags for dishes, 2 thim towels, 1 for kitchen and 1 for the bathroom, no smoke detectors or carbon monoxide detectors. Bring your own laundry supplies if you need to wash. The living had just a couch, no extra chairs.a plug for kitchen sink, no measuring cups or spoon for making meals

Little house close to everything

Good stay, not the best neighborhood but it's alright, close to the Churchill downs n give minutes to university and downtown. Easy to find. We live our stay. Good yard for the doggies.

Be prepared

This is a 50’s home that has been updated beautifully! It was very clean but in our opinion was not as accommodating and comfortable as it could be. The property manager did not answer one message in the app until 2 days later and didn’t answer another at all. We did not receive the door unlocking information until 1 hr before check in. The only TV is in the living room and there’s only one piece of furniture to sit on, a sleeper sofa that is terribly uncomfortable to sit on. The Wi-Fi login information isn’t correct. The correct information is added, hand written in the orange guest book under the TV. There were no washcloths. A message was sent to the manager with no response. The ice maker isn’t hooked up and there are no ice cube trays. The beds are comfortable and the sitting area in the back is nice.

Cute little house, good location, host was almost unreachable, didn’t even know Wi-Fi, and password for her own house, very limited kitchen stuff, no wash rags, no rags to do dishes, very disappointing. Emailed post about password for Wi-Fi. Got one answer that said it’s in the book which was wrong, and never replied to my second email. Probably the worst Vrbo we’ve been in.

Quiet stay

My stay was peaceful and pleasant! The property was clean and decorated tastefully, with a fun play area my daughter enjoyed. Communication was friendly with the host and I needed nothing while there as everything was considered by host! Thank you I enjoyed my time at your beautiful place

Excellent Accomodations and Care

This was my first experience with VRBO and the owner of this house went above and beyond to make sure that my family and myself was taken care of, even upgrading the house to a better more expensive house when the heating went out due to the extreme weather. She even extended my stay at the house an extra day when my mother's surgery/hospital stay was extended due to complications with her surgery. Was an excellent host and I'd recommend her and her homes to anyone at anytime!!! Thank you once again!!!

The rental was super easy affordable, had absolutely no issues and home provided more than expected, nice quiet cozy very beautiful and comfortable, will recommend and most likely use again!!!

Home Away from Home …

We loved this lil gem we were minutes away from downtown this property was VERY clean felt like home away from home … Definitely recommend … The only thing I would change would be more living room furniture & more than 1 roll of toilet paper …

Weekend getaway

Overall the stay was not horrible, but would not rent again. House is a very close to a lot of restaurants and stores. When we arrived the front door was standing open. Property Manager said it must have been the cleaning crew, house was pretty much as listed other then the pots and pans ( much older set in the home them pictured) was only left 1 trash bag and 1 dish tap and 4 towels for a 4 day stay of 2 people, and found dead bugs in different rooms of the house. After the stay, we where blamed for taking 12 hangers ( that where not in the house when we arrived) was also changed a $40 fee for a “stain” on the sheets that we never saw. We checked everything before we left and never saw any stains, when i asked questions and brought up the dead bugs I was given a rude response from the property manager, no apologies rather was told I was still going to be charged for the random stain?!?

Louisville getaway

We had a great time in Louisville, we really enjoyed the small areas, restaurants, breweries, distilleries. This house was a pretty solid location, everything was max 20 minutes away. The owner was extremely responsive when emailed. All and all y’all treated us KC folks great

Good stay

Had a good stay at this property. The neighborhood around it was just okay, but the property is as advertised, mostly. The only challenge I had is the smell. Clearly the previous owner was a smoker and it’s still prominent in the air. It wasn’t overpowering where I couldn’t live with it, but it was definitely noticeable for the entire stay. The rest of it was great though. The beds were comfortable. The place was clean. There was good space in the house. There was enough parking for two cars. Overall, it was a great stay. It’s also priced right. So if you aren’t thrown off my the slight smoky smell that has crept into the pores of this place, it’s a great place to rent.
