The location of our Carriage House is perfect. It is private apartment on our property (guest house) in a beautiful quite neighborhood. However, we are in the one of the most sought out places in Louisville called the "Highlands" We are walking distance to many great restaurants, coffee shops, cute little shops and breweries. We are walking distance to Bellarmine college, parks and even the Zoo. However, we are the perfect distance away from the noise and nightlife that comes with Bardstown Rd. We are in the best of both worlds. We are 5 to 7 mins from the airport and the convention center and about 10 mins from the YUM center, Churchill Downs and downtown. Perfect place to stay for a family or anyone looking to be close to everything but yet feel safe.

Spring Break getaway

Beautiful and comfortable, my husband and I enjoyed our stay immensely. The proximity to interesting neighborhoods was perfect and we loved going home to the carriage house after the city experiences.Our hosts suggestions of restaurants and activities were helpful and spot on. Everything was just as described if not better. A great spot.

Perfect Getaway

We loved everything about this gorgeous quiet neighborhood. We were close to everything and the host had a book of recommendations that were spot on for dinner and breakfast. Communication was great. We would definitely stay here again, though we would bring our own pillows next time. You feel right at home here.

Nice place, nice neighborhood

Very nice place. Wish we had our own pillows. AT&T tv was a bit glitchy but, I realize not everybody has choices when it comes to internet. Bigger address numbers in a lighted area at night would be helpful but, I did eventually find them. Beautiful neighborhood, great location Very cleanVery safeVery cozyWould definitely stay again

Nice neighborhood

Bourbon trail here we come

The Carriage House is a wonderful home away from home. It is also in a great location and beautiful neighborhood. Extremely clean and comfortable living and bedroom furniture. The kitchen and bath linens are well stocked. The host is superb and very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend. Our next trip to the bourbon trail will include the Carriage House.

Wonderful find in Louisville

The property was spotless, the location was great, and our hosts were very friendly. The neighborhood had several good restaurants in walking distance as well. Definitely a place I would recommend to anyone wanting a nice place to stay in the Louisville area.

Cute place, safe location

Excellent location in Louisville, close enough to anything you want to do in Lou, but far enough away from the inner city to feel safe. Property owners were always close by / present. Carriage house was clean, well furnished. We greatly appreciated the washer and dryer. Thanks for the amazing stay!

Great space in a great location

Our family enjoyed our week-long stay in Louisville visiting friends and adult children. The location was central to everywhere we needed to go, including southern Indiana. The host was very responsive to all of our requests. We hope to stay here again on our next visit.

Excellent place to stay

This listing was no more than 15 minutes from anywhere we wanted to go. It was super clean and in a nice neighborhood. This is exactly the type of VRBO listing we were looking for. I couldn’t give more praise.
