ABOUT THE HOUSE
The main living room is tasteful and chic, with sophisticated furniture, a gas fireplace, and a 55-inch TV. Give the kids their own space in the second living room just off the kitchen with a 55-inch TV. A convenient half bath serves the living areas.
Prepare family meals in the kitchen, featuring wood-paneled ceilings, marbled granite counters, and stainless appliances - including a gas stove and French door fridge. It also has a hideaway pantry and extras like a crock pot, toaster, and coffee maker. An elegant dining room seats eight around the stylish table, and four more can sit at the kitchen bar. Or make use of the barbecue grill and enjoy your meals alfresco on the back patio, featuring an eight-person table.
The beautifully decorated upstairs primary bedroom offers a king bed, a 48-inch TV, and sliding glass doors to a private deck. The en-suite bathroom is just as refined, offering a dual marble vanity and a walk-in shower. Kids will love the second bedroom with a full-over-full bunk bed, a full-size trundle underneath, and a 48-inch TV. The third bedroom features a queen bed and a 48-inch TV. Both guest bedrooms share the second full bathroom with dual vanity and soaking tub/shower combination.
Extra amenities include complimentary WiFi and a washer/dryer. The home has parking for three cars (one in the garage and two in the driveway); additional street parking may be available.
THE LOCATION
It’s a short 7-minute drive to Galveston’s historic Strand District, where the city streets are lined with restaurants. Have fun while you learn some history at the Galveston Island Railroad Museum, Texas Seaport Museum, and Ocean Star Offshore Energy Center and Museum.
You’re only 7 minutes from the cruise port, so if you’re setting sail, consider spending a few extra days to explore the city.
Other nearby highlights include Schlitterbahn (12-minute drive), BayWatch Dolphin Tours (8-minute drive), and of course, the city’s pristine beaches and Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier (5-minute walk).

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
