Great historic home centrally located to the best of Galveston.

Property was as described and well furnished. We enjoyed our stay for the weekend in Galveston. Eileen was very easy to work with. Highly recommend this property.

The owner was extremely helpful and focused on making our time at the house a great experience. Loved our time here. Will stay again if available for future events here in Galveston.

Beautiful 1900 storm survivor

Beautiful and exactly what we have always wanted to stay in on the island. House has that old Victorian charm with some upgrades.

Relaxing weekend

Very nice house close to Sacred Heart. We had a very relaxing memorial day weekend visiting family in Galveston. It couldn't have been better!

Beautiful older home

This was a very cozy home. My husband who is a trim carpenter by trade appreciated this home very much as it has lots of beautiful trim work throughout.

Property near the Strand

We stayed at the house for our daughters wedding. It was spacious and had room for the entire family. Beautiful historic home with large dining room and enough sleeping area for everyone. The AC worked great!

The Belle is lovely.

The perfect place for our group of 8. Plenty of room to relax and enjoy one another's company. The Belle has everything you could possibly need at you fingertips. Eileen was available and responsive to any questions I had before and during our stay. Very clean, which is very important to our group. Would definitely stay again.

The house was beautiful and so full of history, we had 13 people in our family from PA, KS, LA and of course TX. Our host was amazing stayed in touch to let us know if there were any changes or anything we needed! Thank you Ellen & Tony for sharing your lovely home with our family!

Pre cruise stay

The house is a cute old house with a lot of character. There are a lot of beds or sofas to sleep on. But if you are looking for a private bedroom with a bathroom, this is not the place to stay. If you are looking for a place with a lot of personality and not needing a lot of privacy this is the place.

Murder Mystery Dinner Party

I hosted a 1920s themed murder mystery dinner party at this rental this weekend. The decor matched the theme perfectly, and Eileen was very responsive with information about dishes, glassware, kitchen supplies, etc. The house had ample room for the 8 of us. The AC units worked great, both central air and split units.

This is a lovely house in Galveston. It’s huge. We were a group of 15 between kids and adults. The house was extra clean. The owner is wonderful. The house is very well equipped. You will love it here! book!

Beautiful historic home, fantastic location near Strand

We had 12 ladies in for Mardi Gras weekend and a bachelorette party. We rented this beautiful home and it served as a perfect setting for the weekend. Everyone had a comfortable bed, and we enjoyed meals and conversations in the beautiful living and dining areas. We were able to walk to restaurants for all meals and to the strand for Mardi Gras festivities. Street parking was adequate. Eileen (host/home owner) was very responsive to any questions we had. Thank you for lending us such a great home for the weekend!

Beyond my expectations ! There are setting nooks everywhere, outside setting ! WONDERFUL!

When you walk in the home you know the owner cares about her guest! fully stocked kitchen, bedrooms are so comfy with wonderful bedding, not what you normally find in a rental. it feels like you are staying in a friends house! I had a question about the tv and she answered my call in a few minutes. The home itself is a step back in time with its history, quite street, with lots of wonderful old homes to look at. Stop searching... this is the best on the island!

Location, Big, Beautiful, and Historical

We only had 6 (3 couples) stay in this huge home. It was perfect for us in every way. We loved the convenience of the location, nice neighborhood, big home, with nice rooms, gorgeous decor and the historical significance meant a lot to us. Our group is from Houston area and this was a weekend getaway. One thing to add, we were concerned about parking, as we had 4 cars between 6 of us. But we took turns 2 cars in front one night, the other 2 cars in front the other night. Parking along side streets was not an issue at all! There is a parking garage a block away. We asked at the County Courthouse, and they said weekend parking is ok in the garage, but have your car gone by Mon. morning. Don't hesitate to reserve this home. There are so many beds everywhere for your large family!
