Great location with plenty of space.

Was really happy with the location of the homes less than a 5 minute walk to the beach! There was plenty of room and beds for my party of 5, and the hot tub was a great bonus! The host was very quick to respond to any questions and we really enjoyed our stay, and it was even better that we were able to bring our small dogs with us. It is a historical home, so rightfully the owners want to preserve it and have some rules like no rolling suitcases on the wood floors, but we had no issues following them.

Great Vacation Stay

This home had everything our group of 7 adults needed. The location near the seawall was perfect and we all enjoyed our stay. Easy check-in/check-out and responsive hosts. We would recommend this home to anyone visiting the area.

Galveston visit

Had a good stay in a sturdy, inviting historic home. Just people no pets this trip. Good place to be home base for summer visits to the beach, pleasure pier and the Strand. Parking was on the street, not in a driveway.

Lovely home

The home is just lovely!! We loved this house. The location was perfect. Even with kids, it was easy back and forth to the beach. We were very comfortable and everything we needed was there. The hosts were so nice and easy to contact. Great place to stay in Galveston!

Super Cute & Cozy Vacation Home

Our family of 6 stayed here for Spring Break and it was such a nice home! Super close to the beach, restaurants and Pleasure Pier! The home was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The hosts are so friendly and really make sure you enjoy your stay. I would definitely recommend this cute beach house for your Galveston Getaway 🏝️

Nice beach house for family and close to the seawall

Joyce and Joe were great hosts and so convenient that they were just in the house behind the rental when we had some issues with the TV reception- lovely front porch to sip your favorite breakfast beverage and feel the breeze off of the sea. This place had lots of room for family getaways to Galveston. My family and I look forward to our next trip to this cute beach home.

Family vaca 2024

Great house with great location. Short walk to the beach. Owners were very responsive. Home is spacious with a unique layout that we liked. There is only one TV in the home located in the living room, but we ended up liking it that way to give the kids a chance to disconnect from the tv for a while. Air conditioner worked good and two good fans were furnished as well. Our family enjoyed spending evenings on the big porch.

Best place to stay in Galveston!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The owners are wonderful! They were very nice, helped us when needed, and gave us privacy even though they live next door! It’s in a neighborhood in town so it was close to everything and we were able to walk to the beach instead of having to drive. We also felt safe at the house! We will definitely be staying here again for our next trip to Galveston!

Very well decorated, clean, excellent atmosphere. Joyce was a super host. The addition to the front porch provided an awesome place for enjoying the evening sunsets and morning coffee.

Fabulous!

From the wonderful porch to the comfy beds, this vacation home full of character and charm encourages relaxation. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the utilities efficient. The beach was a short walk away and the owners a quick reply from any inquiry. We hope to return!

Great Place

We came to visit from North Carolina to Nederland to visit family. We booked this VRBO so we would be closer to the beach. So glad we chose this one. The home was beautiful, inside and out, exceeded our expectations. The owners were wonderful and very helpful. If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay, we highly recommend.

Excellent fun

The hosts, Joyce and Joe are very special people. They made our stay even better than expected. We were “older ladies” and the house fit us perfectly. Only 2 blocks from the beach. We will definitely return someday.

This is the best rental available in Galveston! The property itself is amazing- such a beautiful house, so well maintained, the landscaping is just gorgeous! The location can’t be beat- walking distance to the beach and tons of restaurants and activities! And the owners are just the best- we cannot say enough nice things about them! We were a party of 6 that stayed for a couple of nights prior to boarding our cruise ship and we will definitely be back to just hang out and enjoy Galveston! Thank you Joe and Joyce for your hospitality and allowing us to stay in your beautiful rental!

Beach-y Christmas

Joe & Joyce have an absolutely beautiful home that's located so conveniently close to Galveston's highlights. We stayed over Christmas, and the house was beautifully decorated in addition to the wonderful architecture. Joyce was very communicative and helpful; the heat unfortunately went out on Christmas Day, but they still had it fixed within 2 hours!!! Check in and checkout were seamless and easy. If we return to Galveston for another trip, we'll certainly be looking up this home again!

Destination wedding

The place was really great. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of towels. My only issue was that it advertised being pet friendly but the possibility of causing damage was too great. The dogs we planned to bring were too big. The pet owner had to return home and missed the wedding.
