GUEST ACCESS: Keypad entry, the host will be emailing the instructions the night prior to the guest's arrival. Plenty of parking on our property. Roads all over county are gravelly and bumpy, please drive carefully.
KITCHEN/FOOD: The kitchen is equipped with all the necessities for culinary ventures(pots, pans, cooking utensils, eating utensils, baking pans, a pressure cooker, a waffle maker, a mixer, a food combiner, and more); however, you must bring your own food. Our pantry is stocked with a range of items, such as canned goods, cereal, cookies, popcorn, cake mixes and condiments, baking supplies, and snacks. We would be happy to provide any additional items you may need, just let us know your requirements in advance. The kitchen is also supplied with the essentials for cooking, such as salt, pepper, spices, cooking oil, and vinegar. Furthermore, foil, cling film, and zip locks are also available.
HEAT/AC: The house has central air for heating and a gas range for cooking. The house is located on the sunny side of the mountain. It retains the heat exceptionally well.
WATER: Our water comes from a private well and is drawn directly from the mountain. It is perfectly safe to drink and is tested yearly for contaminants. Our well is low flow, so we ask guests to be mindful of their water usage. The faucet in the kitchen also has additional under-the-sink filter to make water even safer.
WILDLIFE: Wildlife sightings are common, it is not uncommon for deer to come to the windows or walk around the property. Please be aware of your surroundings, do not feed the wildlife, and adhere to all state and federal laws during your interactions with the land and wildlife. Dispose of the trash properly for you safety and others.
PET POLICY: A fee of $55 per stay is required for dogs. All dogs must be kept on a leash or in a crated area when left unattended. The pet owner must agree to our Pet Policies and take full responsibility for any damages or injury caused by the pet.
