Spanish Ranch pÄ Arkansas River - njut av den rusande floden frÄn badtunnan!

"Casa Bella del Rio" som vi har kallat detta flodhus har renoverats till en hacienda i spansk stil med ett vardagsrum, matsal, kök och fyra sovrum av god storlek med 3 fulla bad. Alla golv har uppdaterats med brickor och lövved. Möblerna Àr alla nya och Àr i spansk stil. Det finns utsikt över bergen frÄn alla hÄll. Huset ligger pÄ 2 tunnland, precis vid floden. Det finns flodÄtkomst för kajakpaddling och fiske. Vi har nyligen byggt ett nedre dÀck med trappor upp till huset. En riktigt bra plats att koppla av eller bara sitta med din fiskeredskap.

DÀck Àr ett bra stÀlle att njuta av utsikten, Àta lunch eller sitta i badtunnan och bara koppla av!

Summer Getaway!

The house was great for nine of us. There was plenty of room for all. Nice and quiet with the river running in the back yard. Close to town with lots of eating establishments. I believe this is the sixth time that I have stayed here. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a group of 7 adults and the house was perfect for us. There were plenty of rooms and beds. The outside space had access to the river and incredible views. Easy to find and access. Great hot tub. No complaints!!

Hallmark christmas

This property was perfect for our Christmas trip. It was like we where staying in a hallmark movie! The kitchen was well stocked for anything you needed to cook with. Very impressed. The guys loved the fact it had horseshoe pits!! It was also great to have the hottub to come back to after a long day of skiing.

Great house, great location! Well stocked with everything you would need to make a meal. Less than 20 minutes into town. On a nice flat quiet road with very little traffic. Everything the owner says in the listing and much more. We loved it!

Great house!

We stayed here for the weekend to ski Monarch. The house was set up great for 2 families. We all had enough space to relax and hang out. The backyard deck, hot tub and horse shoe pit were a perfect way to relax after a day on the slopes. We would love to come again!

Beautiful, is exactly what the listing says it is. Worked great for our family. We had kids from 5 years old to 20 and adults. Everyone had room to relax and visit. Would highly recommend.

Spanish Ranch House

The Spanish Ranch was everything as described, only better. The pictures on the website do not do this home justice. The bedrooms were larger than expected and the back porch was the place we spent most of our time, with great views of the river and mountains. Clean and well kept. It was great being away from town but it’s only a short drive into Salida and many area attractions and activities. The night sky is stunning. Our week was amazing and we all hated to leave. Thanks Janet.

Summer Getaway

Great location on the Arkansas River and close to Salida with lovely restaurants and and park for the kids. Our only concern was we had an abundance of mice that ate through our food and got caught on traps, that we had to dispose of in the middle of the night. We did reach out to the property owner and she was quick to respond. The home needs new screens to help with the bugs outside as they came right in with windows open at night. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the views of the river were outstanding.

Great place for our group

We had 7 adults and 3 teens between 4 families and there was room for everyone. We skied at Monarch and also fished several sections of the Arkansas. Not too much fishing available right on the property, but several good spots within a10-15 minute drive. The outside deck area with the hot tub and horseshoes down below was really enjoyable! My only suggestion for the owner would be a few mattress upgrades and a suggestion for guests would be to be bring drinking water as the minerals in the springs in this area add a bit of sulfer taste. Otherwise the layout is great for a multi-family group and the house is very well equipped with essentials. We would stay here again!

Great Home

We enjoyed our stay. There were 3 families and plenty of room. Beds were very comfortable. We spent most of our time on the deck, enjoying the view and the river. Husband was very happy with fishing! We had an evening where we could not get out because the rain/flooding of the road. We had a problem with plumbing and Janet/owner reacted very quickly to get it resolved. The only problem were the flies! Maybe it was because we were near the river. We made a game of it to see who could get the most flies. We would return to this beautiful home.

Beautiful Setting / Lovely Home

The house had not been cleaned when we arrived. We were trying to get in touch with our host but couldn't so we called VRBO and they got us through immediately. The host was apologetic and offered us $200.00 to clean it our self or she would have her cleaning person come out. There was too much to do for that amount so we asked for the cleaning person. She came right out. Was very nice and apologetic (she had a mix up on the date). She did a nice job as we waited. We had a wonderful time in a beautiful home with a beautiful setting.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We have children and grandchildren living in the area and wanted to create a family home that could also be enjoyed by others. The mountains that surround the home are magnificent.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Near the town of Salida, with restaurants and shopping...although our son lives there for the outdoor activities like, rafting, kayaking, mountain biking, fly fishing and skiing. This area truly has something for everyone in the family, even if it is just sitting on the deck in the hot tub enjoying the mountain views.
