Nice, Older Condo

We enjoyed our stay very much. This older condo was clean and well maintained. It was close to shopping and area attractions. The beach was closed during our stay due to surf conditions (rip tides), so the pool was a huge blessing. It was clean and refreshing. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Condo!

We loved staying at this condo and had enough space for all 4 of us to comfortably stay, play games, and watch movies after a day at the beach. The host was always quick to respond, and the unit and complex all felt clean and safe.

Property was cute and pictures are exactly what the place is! Property manager replied in timely manner and was very helpful! Overall, very good stay!

It was a great space within walking distance of shopping and food. Short drive to the beaches. Was quiet and allowed for a nice relaxing weekend.

Worked well for me. GPS took me right there, but at night the marking on building was hard to see. Found it quickly by the numbers on the apartments.

Perfect Work-Cation

This was such a cute little condo, it was quiet and comfortable. The hosts were amazing and responsive when I couldn’t figure out the tv lol. They were very nice and welcoming. Will be checking to see if this spot is available for my next Destin trip.

Great stay

The apartment was well appointed in beautiful sea blue. So calming and welcoming. Lots of subliminal messages to relax and unwind. Perfect The pillows for the bed were bountiful and in varying sizes so there was the perfect one for me I would have enjoyed darker curtains to let me sleep a little longer in the morning. But lovely place

Unbelievable

We only slept there and showered because it was only clean on the surface. The microwave had hair and bits of food in it. I dropped my lipstick on the floor and it rolled under the couch it was filthy under there. The furniture was worn out and looked dirty. When we got there they were changing out the refrigerator but it didn’t fit so it sat in the middle of the floor the whole time we were there because we didn’t want them coming in and out with us not there. The bathroom lights must have had 20 watt bulbs in them. The towels and sheets were clean.

Adequate but Flawed

Property was suitable but furniture was still very dirty upon closer inspection when we checked in. There was dust and lint clinging to nearly everything. The fridge was gross to say the least and did not look clean in the slightest. On our second night, a few roaches could be heard crawling around the bathroom and on the floor. While the property was advertised to have been able to sleep 6, it really could only fit four people at most—with two people cramped tight on a lumpy sleeper sofa that needs a severe mattress replacement. We worked to make the most of our stay, despite a distinctly persistent mildew-y smell either from the kitchen pantry or the AC or a combination of both and a general mustiness of the place that could’ve use some wiping down and disinfection.

GREAT LOCATION

You cannot beat the location! Walk to Publix and every bar and restaurant. Television is like a 24” monitor with no Golf Channel to watch the Women’s USOpen. Bathroom sink literally just above my knees (I am 6’2”). Toilet was horrible…had to hover because if I sat down…I would be in the water. Shower super small. Good price and location. A/C was great. Bed is terrible . Hump in the middle and squeaky…every time u move wakes u up. Won’t stay again.

Spring break stay

Crystal was a really great host and had the condo nicely stocked with cleaning supplies, towels, games, pillows, cooking utensils, and toiletries. The location is in the back of a highly populated area near many high end restaurants, stores, and attractions. It is less than 10 minutes from the beach and is a large condo community. The little pond on the property is adorable and well kept up with. However, we did encounter two small roaches as the property has been infested in the past. Also the laundry machines costed us for each machine every load and only takes quarters. Wouldn’t have been inconvenient if we were aware. Other than those two incidents we loved our stay and the cleanliness of the location. Crystal also gave me a Starbucks gift card as a welcome treat! This condo is perfect for an inexpensive trip and all four of us enjoyed the stay.

Very Disappointing

I understand some properties are old and outdated, but they can still be well maintained and clean. This one wasn't. The floors were greasy and so dirty the bottoms of my white socks were stained black. The kitchen cabinets were sticky. There was hair on the shelves inside the refrigerator! The refrigerator randomly leaked water enough to soak a nearby kitchen mat. The sofa had sand all over it and the upholstery was stained. There wasn't even 1 roll of toilet paper in the condo when we arrived. The countertop has lifted where it meets at an angle in one corner and instead of repairing it, someone has just filled a huge gap with caulk. It was terrible.

Looks cute but very loud and uncomfortable

When we arrived the code that was given was incorrect. We did get the right code within a few minutes. Looks very cute but as soon as we got in we were sticking to the floors. The couch and bed were not comfortable. My husband thought he was going to fall through when he sat on the bed. The couch and bed were both uncomfortable. The ac is very loud and the fridge made a very loud humming sound. - there was noise everywhere it was not peaceful. There was a knocking sound inside the apartment and we had no idea where it was coming from. I rarely leave a bad review however this was the worst stay I’ve ever booked. We left at 730 this morning after not being able to sleep again for the 2nd night in a row. I folded up the blankets and placed the pillows on the couch (where we sat all night). I also washed the dishes before leaving I never got check out instructions either. Unfortunately this was not the experience one wants and I don’t wish this on anyone. - we’re going home in pain from trying to get comfortable and will need a chiropractor.

Convenient and Enjoyable Stay

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this property in Sandestin and it exceeded my expectations for the price. The location of the property was ideal, as it was close to numerous restaurants and shopping centers, providing endless options for dining and entertainment. Additionally, the proximity to many beautiful beaches made it incredibly convenient for days spent exploring the coast. HarborWalk Village is 25 minutes away too. One of the highlights of the property was the pool area. It was well-maintained, providing a refreshing escape from the Florida heat. The workout facility was also a great bonus, allowing one to stay active during the stay. The accommodations themselves were comfortable enough (could use a mattress topper) but had all the amenities I needed for a memorable vacation. The room was clean though dated, providing a relaxing atmosphere after a long day of exploring. Log in to Netflix and chill. Laundry washer and dryer on the second floor is $1.25 and was great to have. Overall, I highly recommend this property for anyone looking to enjoy a convenient and enjoyable stay in Sandestin. Whether you're looking to relax by the pool, explore nearby attractions, or indulge in delicious dining options, this property has it all. I would definitely stay here again during my next visit. Baytowne Wharf is always a blast too.
