NEW FOR 2023! Starry Nights Lodge offers any and everything you and your family could want in a vacation home. This gorgeous 4BR/3.5Bath log cabin is located in the Rumbling Bald Resort and comes with all of the resort amenities, as well as tons of amenities of its own.

When you enter the home on the main level, you are greeted with an open and airy great room/living area furnished with a large sectional sofa, a gas fireplace, and French doors that lead out to the upper deck, overlooking Lake Lure & the Blue Ridge Mountains. Just off of the living area is the fully equipped kitchen with seating for five (5) at the bar area, and the dining area with seating for six (6) around the dining table. You will enjoy magnificent mountain views from two additional sets of French doors which also lead out to the upper deck.

The Master Bedroom is also on the main level, and features a King bed, a 40” flat screen TV, French doors leading out onto the upper deck and a large walk-in closet. The Master Bathroom is a showpiece with a stately clawfoot tub, double sink vanity & a walk-in shower. There is also a lovely half-bath/powder room that completes the main level of this home.

There are two (2) guest bedrooms on the upper level, both with Queen Beds, flat screen TVs, and their own private balcony style decks. Another full bathroom w/tub-shower combo, a small desk/work area and a reading area round out this level.

As you gravitate downstairs, you're welcomed by a warm, cozy, beautifully decorated den area, with a gas fireplace, an 85” flat screen TV, a PacMan console game, a kitchenette w/full fridge, microwave, cabinetry & sink. Just off of the den is another guest bedroom with a Queen bed and a full bath w/tub-shower combo. From the den, there are French doors leading out to the lower level deck which is home the 4 person hot tub, a firepit and comfy furnishings.

The real surprise in this home is actually in the garage-turned-rec-room! Here you will find a foosball, basketball, ski ball, full scale dart board and more. Perfect for a fun filled rainy day or an after dinner wind down!

Wonderful home and location!

Our stay was very comfortable. The check-in/out process was easy and simple to follow. This would have been rated higher, but the upstairs air conditioning was not functioning properly and could not cool below 74 degrees.

Golf trip

Beautiful home,however, as a senior and disabled vet this house is not well suited for me or anyone in same position. The front porch has two stone pillars that is the only thing you can hang on to when going up steps and as I found out some of the stones are loose and will come off in your hand. The hot tub, which is a great to have item once again is not safe for a senior or anyone with any lower disabilities. No steps or stool to get in and out. I had to have help getting in and out. If stairs are a problem for you, stay away. Home close to Golf and lake

Great house, serious concerns about management company and our safety while at the house

The house is fantastic. It was exactly as pictured, very cute cabin, very clean. The kids had the best time in the game room, bedrooms very good size, kitchen had all the necessities, and easy-to-work tvs so we could watch all the college football games! The problem we had was that we assumed that since both garage doors were down when we arrived, that they were locked. They were not locked, and so a bear literally broke into the garage and pulled the garbage out of the bin and down the driveway. Imagine our shock to learn the doors could just be pulled up easily. And when we called the management company they said they knew that the doors were not working and were not locked...and didn't warn us! After about 2 minutes we were able to fix the doors and lock them down, so not sure why the management company was unable to have it safe for us when we arrived, or why they didn't bother to warn us. We had kids in that garage game room all weekend and they could have been in there when the bear had opened the garage! It's a great house, but have serious concerns about the management company and their lack of concern for our safety.

Location was great to Rumbling Bald Resort. Had passes to the pool and a short ride to the facilities. Great spacing for privacy inside along with a fun “arcade” downstairs.

We had a GREAT stay @ Starry Nights! Starry Nights was very clean & had everything we needed for our Holiday stay. We enjoyed having enough room for family to join us in celebrating the Holidays! The large game room was a real hit for the kids & even the adults. The house was decorated beautifully for the Holidays. The place was immaculate. Very clean. It is so beautiful. We loved all the options of things to do at the resort. It was a great place for our family to enjoy each other. The only thing we needed was a bigger coffee pot. But this is minor.

So cozy and romantic

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed staying at Starry nights cabin. We understand why this cabin is called starry nights because we have never seen such beautiful stars in our lives. We even located Jupiter. The cabin was immaculate. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. The game room downstairs was so fun. The beds were so comfortable !! We wish we could have stayed here longer! We highly recommend this cabin and look forward to visiting again soon!

Home sweet home

From the exterior to the details throughout the interior we were so impressed. We felt so relaxed, comfortable and luxurious. The house is so spacious yet maintained such a quaint feeling. There were so many fun activities to do we didn't even have to leave the house! Game room, s'mores, hot tub, yoga on the deck, movies on the large flatscreens and more. We will definitely be returning again and again.

Beautiful & Private Cabin near amenities & recreation

Overall our stay at Starry Nights Lodge was good. We had a bumpy start with the property management owner-the paperwork they sent us to sign had incorrect numbers and she was not willing to explain why these extra charges were on the cover sheet. She leaned towards becoming "rude". I finally was able to get clarification through VRBO. Just read all your paperwork very carefully. It all worked in the end. When we arrived, there were still Christmas decorations out which we removed to the unfinished basement which was approved by Carroll, the maintenance employee. We had to do this to get our luggage and items in the closets There was Christmas potpourri in the wood bowl at the entrance and snake skins in a wood canoe decoration on the console cabinet in the Living Room which we hid away as the children were frightened by the snake skins. There were several light bulbs out that we called and talked to Debbie and she was awesome to get Carroll over quickly to replace them the same day, although he had to order one for the downstairs recreation room, which was loved by the children every day! It was still out when we left. Some of the items in the information book on the kitchen island need to be updated. I think the attention to these minor details should be addressed but it was a beautiful cabin and the floor plan is second to none. The front yard needs a haircut & grooming. We would stay here again for sure. I hope this is helpful. Debbie & Carroll were awesome!

Awesome rental home in Rumbling Bald

We rented for a few days in late July. Great communication from the management team. House was very clean, kitchen was well stocked. Tons of room to spread out. Beds very comfortable. Downstairs game room was a hit with our kids. We've been coming to Rumbling Bald for many years. The beach, pools, and restaurants are great. The resort amenities are second to none. This house is located above the lake and a short drive to the amenities. I highly recommend this home. I expect the views of the lake are great in the colder months when the leaves come down. When we first arrived there was a friendly black bear in the woods below the lowest deck, but we never saw it again.

Beautiful Home and Lots of Bear Sightings!

This property is so great for families looking for a little something different! Within minutes of arriving we had our first bear encounter, followed by a few other sightings every day of our trip. The amenities at the property and on the resort were outstanding, the house was very clean and organized, and the lake temp this summer was perfect. Thank you for having us!

Exceeded expectations

We had an amazing stay in Lake Lure. The home was wonderful and had plenty of space for our family- 3 kids 9, 6, and 2- plus grandparents. The games in the basement were almost too much fun for the kids, couldn't pull the away easily. We loved the location and the amenities at the resort were outstanding. Beautiful beach and pool! Chimney Rock was close, and we made day trips to the state/national parks outside Brevard. We will definitely consider coming back if we head to NC again! Thank you so much for helping us make more memories for our family!
