Prime Location

The location is incredible with short 200m walk to the beach. The home is in a quieter part of the island making it ideal for families or anyone looking for some solitude.

Annual girl's trip

The property is beautiful and the walk to the beach was easy and super close. We enjoyed the deck both nights. My only suggestion is to make sure to bring towels, not enough supplied for the size of our group (6 ladies). Overall, it was a great place and we had a blast. I am planning to book another stay here with my family.

A Perfect Beach Oasis

This was my families first stay at this location in North Topsail, NC. The location was perfect for what we needed. The house was thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival and it had every amenity a family of 6 adults would ever need, which we really appreciated. The beds were soft and comfortable and the house was spacious enough to not feel like we were on top of each other. We were able to access the beach with just a short walk and even accessed both North Topsail and Surf City beaches for our trip which was a plus. I highly recommend this location for your next beach trip and we look forward to staying again soon!!!

Great experience

Overall we had a great time with a very clean, nice house that is located right next to the beach. It was a great house spacious enough for two small families with infants and a dog. I would highly recommend. Some other items that we were pleasantly surprised to find that were not mentioned in the original listing: Linens/towels Beach chairs & toys (shovel/bucket etc) Gas Grill The host was quick to respond and easy to communicate with. If you're heading to NC beaches, topsail and this house are tough to beat.

Get away cottage

The overall property has a nice feel and is updated. Just lacked a few items like towels for the bathroom ( none in second bath, only a hand towel. There are beach towels but they should be for the beach.All the return vents in the home to include fans in bathrooms are very dirty...needs a deep cleaning. Otherwise, with those items addressed, it was nice. The hot tub was not used....so no comment there.

Broken hot tub and curtains

A couple issues we had - the hot tub was dirty and full of sand when we first arrived. Then we never ended up being able to use it because it would not head up over 86 degrees. Then, at one point we were sitting on the couch and the curtain rod fell down on us. Other than that the location and cleanliness of the space was great

Disappointing and the unit needs attention now!

While we had a good time on Topsail, the property itself needs some attention. I wish you could submit pictures with your review so some of the items could be seen. This included cigarette butts everywhere, garbage not taken out, mold in the shower, the sliding door was really difficult to open, front door lock plate screws were stripped preventing us from easily opening the door (both I would consider safety violations), the hot tub is a joke, rusty cold air returns, dryer could not be easily used since the door to it prevent you from getting to it and finally the grills were either rusty or missing a propane tank to use. There were some decent things however such as location to the beach and the overall size of the unit was good for 4 adults. I have reached out to the owner and provided pictures but never had a response. In the end, I would suggest booking another unit since this one will disappoint you. I have also asked for a partial refund since the unit did not meet its booking advertisement nor our expectations.
