This meticulously renovated, luxury home is the ideal base for your desert escape, perfectly situated in The Highlands neighborhood of South JT, in a park-like setting within walking distance of BLM hiking trails, and just a short drive from JT's acclaimed local shops, cafés and gourmet dining. Or stay home and enjoy the airy interior with wide open views of the desert expanses or soak in the hot tub surrounded by nature.

Nestled in the Joshua Tree Highlands, Sienna Sky House is literally adjacent to Joshua Tree National Park, meaning the property is itself surrounded by Joshua Trees and other beautiful desert flora.

Free parking is available on the premises. You'll pass the Joshua Tree Visitor Center on the drive up to Anaconda Retreat, just 6min from the house. Various hikes within walking distance (Nancy Karl hike, Friendly Hills hike) + an easy drive (less than 10min) to Joshua Tree town cafés, shops, bars and restaurants. Joshua Tree National Park West Entrance is a 10min drive.

Views, location, and comfort . . .

Sienna Sky is a top notch JT abode for a peaceful getaway, with easy access to the park and incredible vista and sky views. We particularly enjoyed how quiet is was, except for the occasional coyote howl or owl hoot. The well-equipped home is thoughtfully laid out to maximize views and is very private feeling among its few neighbors. It is tastefully decorated and contains all the comforts of home and more (hot tub, ping pong, yoga mats, outdoor shower, etc.). Micalya was a wonderful host, very communicative and responsive to any questions we had. Would love to return and highly recommend to anyone looking for an amazing place to stay in the desert.

Peaceful desert house

Our stay at Sienna Sky House was wonderful! This home was immaculate, beautifully decorated, comfortable and had beautiful views of the desert. My husband and I and our two sons came for a week to hike the trails at Joshua Tree National Park. This house was close to the park and also had some shorter trails to walk in the neighborhood. If we weren’t hiking we thoroughly enjoyed the many outdoor seating areas and of course the hot tub was amazing! I think what really made this house special was the host! Micayla was thoughtful, kind, quick to respond to questions/issues and went above and beyond to make our stay special. Thank you for sharing this home with us. It was a wonderful week! We would definitely return.

Our stay at the Sienna Sky House in Joshua Tree was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by breathtaking views, serene wildlife, and a sense of tranquility that permeated every corner of this incredible retreat. The attention to detail in the design is truly remarkable. Every aspect of the space is thoughtfully curated, from the modern yet cozy furnishings to the carefully chosen decor that perfectly complements the surrounding natural beauty. It's evident that every element has been meticulously selected to create an atmosphere of luxury and comfort. The personal touches throughout the house added an extra layer of charm and warmth to our experience. From the welcome note to the locally sourced amenities, it's clear that Micayla went above and beyond to ensure that we felt welcomed! One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the hot tub, where we spent evenings relaxing under the star-studded and full moon sky, while soaking in the warmth and serenity of the desert landscape. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring Joshua Tree National Park. Overall, our time at the Sienna Sky House exceeded ALL expectations. We left feeling rejuvenated, inspired, and grateful for the opportunity to experience such a magical home. We cannot recommend this place highly enough and can't wait to return for another unforgettable stay. Thank you Micayla for creating such a truly special oasis in the heart of JT! What a gem!!
