Parent's Retreat

My daughter and son-in-law are new parents and stayed at this wonderful loft during their weekend visit while I had fun with my grandson. They absolutely loved the loft and the restaurants within walkimg distance

Good trip

It was in a good location for us, granddaughter played in volleyball tournament for 3 days. Didn’t care for all the stairs. But overall it was a good trip.

Not worth it.

The locks were very tricky. We had to go out and buy our own towels and paper towels because we were supplied with a single towel and a quarter roll of paper towels. Soap was empty, there were ants in the living room and bedroom (crawled on us twice). The couch was not the same couch as in the photos and the chairs in the photo were not there. The photos were clearly outdated! There was one single fork… really? When we ended up leaving a day early and got a hotel due to the bad experience, we were told that we would only be comped for our last day if someone booked that same day. Seriously? Considering the conditions were nowhere near our expectations, this was ridiculous. We’ll be going to a hotel from now on. The only good thing I have to say is the area- food was great and the bakery across the street was amazing.

It worked, but not set up to actually spend time in.

I do think the name cozy loft was a bit deceptive. In the pictures, there are various seating spots in the living room, but we ended up only having one small and very uncomfortable couch. We had planned to stay in and play games and build puzzles but decided not to since there was nowhere to sit in the living room other than the tiny couch. The air conditioning was not working well, so it was pretty warm. There was only one fork, which isn’t a huge deal, but we ate in so we only had spoons to use for our group of 3. We also noticed ants, so that may need to be addressed. We just adjusted our plans a bit and spent more time out than we initially planned. It was clean and private, which was good, but ultimately not really what we expected based on the pictures.

Great loft for the price

We loved the location and price of this loft! You can easily walk to many restaurants! There is a yummy bakery called Kizito that is right across the street! I wish the unit would have been cleaned more and that they would have stocked up on cleaning supplies.

Business trip

The Cozy Loft was a very cozy stay, I would recommend this for groups of 2-3 people. The Cozy Loft is about 5-7 min from down town and 10 minutes to the Kentucky Exposition Center. We enjoyed our stay.

Great location, but steep!

This is in a great location and the check in process was very easy. Also, it was a really great deal! A few things to be aware of: 1. This is a third floor apartment, and the 2nd set of stairs is steep. 2. The pitch of the roof causes you to bend down to access the single bed. 3. There are no doors except for to the bathroom, so there is little privacy between you and your other guests. 4. There is no electric outlet near the queen bed. We were a party of 2 healthy ladies, and we loved it! There's a coffee shop, bakery, and pizza place within feet of the entrance.
