Good

Stayed for Derby weekend! It was perfect for what we needed. Updated bathroom with toiletries and a kitchen with all basic necessities. I would stay again. The host was quick to respond with any questions!!

PGA Championship Weekend

We would have given this place a higher rating but the smell of cigarette smoke was hard to get past It made our clothes smell and we would wake up congested! The hosts were quick to respond to all questions. If you don’t mind smoke you will like this property.

Nicely stocked and comfortable

The house was nicely furnished and had a well stocked kitchen with everything a traveler might need. Comfortable bed and great for a couple. The only issue I had was the cigarette smoke smell when we entered. It was very noticeable and I have asthma which can be impacted by cigarette smoke

complete disappointments

the property it's over 100-year-old building, it has the carácter of a historical property, but they, feal to keep the property well maintained and clean as it should be, they need to do updates to the exterior (Windows, Garden front yard, front sidewalk and stair, the trees, lighting) the interior they need to update the bathroom, kitchen, every room has to be new electrical, outlets, switches, also the closets are in the same condition,100 years ago, they really need to update this property

Nice bathroom

So much to say! It’s an older 2 story home/apartment conversion. But I think what threw me off was opening the door into the space led you to the foot of the bed 3 feet inside. LITERALLY 4 steps and hello center of bed. The bathroom is awesome! Lighting was nonexistent on the exterior of the house coupled with the very tall over grown edging/ landscape made it feel unsafe at night. Only light came from within the home. We used our flashlights on our phones to traverse in and out. Halloween decorations still up in July. It was a hot span of days for our time there but the 1 window A/C could not keep up in cooling the entire space. In order to watch tv in the living room you had to turn it off because it was so loud you couldn’t hear the TV. We had some serious issues upon arrival but the property owner attempted to address them for the most part. we’ve stayed at other Rentals and I must say this was lacking a lot based on the nightly rate. I did reach out to the owner during and after our stay voicing my concerns and received a small refund back as a token of good will. Though I don’t think it was an appropriate amount. I’m hoping the owner will consider my suggestions and make changes to improve their property and comfort level of guests. If you want to cook or enjoy coffee bring your own supplies. Missing basics. The property is in a great location to get to anywhere you might want to go easily. Not a lot of things to see or do via walking. The neighborhood is an older one but quiet. The bed was comfortable the bathroom is the real gem in this place. So if nothing else matters to you then this is the place for you! However, if your not going to be spending your time in that little room of relaxation consider other properties. . Everything else about this property is underwhelming. What you see is NOT what you’re getting in my opinion. Lots of room for on housekeeping, little details and comfort improvements need to be made to justify the listing price.

Close to expo center

Pleasant stay. Close to expo center which was very convenient when going back and forth for basketball games. Comfortable bed. Owner was very responsive.

Interesting Decor

We especially liked the kitchen and bathroom. Could have thrown a dinner party in the well stocked kitchen. We could walk to several neighbor restaurants. The owner was responsive when we had difficulty with the apartment lock
