Surrounded by local shops, including a cafe on the first floor with a wonderful breakfast & lunch menu, a fabulous wine bar across the street, and several riverfront restaurants only steps away, The Darien River Retreat will place you in the center of everything this charming town has to offer! The river can be seen from the front balcony, and a public boat ramp is just down the hill.

Natural light is abundant throughout the apartment, with plenty of windows to enjoy the scenery. The large, full kitchen is well-equipped for all of your cooking needs, and the spacious living room is both comfortable and functional.

Awesome apartment in downtown Darien

We had an overnight stay in Darien. This apartment is extremely clean, has all the amenities you can think of/need, and is right across from a wine bar, brewery, seafood restaurant, and Mexican restaurant. Not to mention the building is historic and very cool!

Treat yourself

Everything about this rental was top notch starting with our check in experience to our leaving. The rental is within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Do yourself a favor and “treat yourself” for a day or two or longer.

Charming retreat in the heart of Darien

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful and spacious apartment in Darien. The location above the coffee shop made it feel unique and gave us easy access to local spots (so Many cute shops and restaurants in walking distance) yet it was so quiet and peaceful. We loved how much natural light filled the space and the charming interior design made it feel cozy and welcoming. It was the perfect weekend retreat while we attended our friends wedding, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a serene spot with plenty of character!

Wonderful

It truly was a perfect p!ace for us. It was close to everything. We went out to eat lunch and did not have to walk a b!ock. We wanted to go to a concert on the waterfront and did not walk a block.There are restaurants and bars and shops. All are so close. There is even a cute bakery for breakfast or lunch right down stairs. You can not go wrong staying here. Also the Host is more than happy to help with whatever you need.We will definitly be staying here again.
