Off-Season Nags Head Beach

Great property, accommodated 3 nicely. Lots of amenities (bikes, hammock, beach chairs and deck chairs) all very convenient to access. Location was great! Easy access to beach; good views of the ocean which could be heard throughout the home. Initially there was a modem issue which the owner promptly resolved. We were very happy with our choice to stay here!

Great location

This property is setting on a beautiful beach front road. Lots of amenities including bikes, boogie boards, beach chairs, beds, plenty of dishes for cooking.Great property and the host was very friendly and quick to respond. Everything you would need for the week stay. for a week

Great beach house in quiet location

It was GOOD in spite of heavy rains the first two days. The storms & rains also contributed to erosion which, unfortunately for us, left the beach challenging to access, which is the only reason for less than a perfect score for 'Accuracy of online listing.' The owners have no control over the weather & its effects. The home was lovely, and we enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful beach house!

This house was everything we were hoping for. Excellent location for our girls trip. Though set one house back from the beach, the views from the deck and crows nest were even better than we expected from the pics! Beach access was so convenient. Everything was as advertised and Ron was a great communicator!

Wonderful House!

Beautiful views, well maintained, beautifully decorated, well equipped, very comfortable and clean. There is a large selection of beach items available for use. Owners are great to work with. It's apparent they take pride in their house by providing everything you need to have a relaxing vacation.

Much needed rest and relaxation

We had an amazing time staying at Sandmann house. The house had everything we needed and more. Perfect location and the sunrise from the crows nest was beautiful. Everyone in my family enjoyed the rest and relaxation this vacation brought. The host was so friendly and answered texts very promptly. We could not have asked for a better host. We look forward to staying in the Sandmann house again!!

Wonderful location

The beach house was great. We were steps away from the ocean and at times it felt like we had a private beach. We enjoyed the house and especially appreciated the beach supplies.

Lovely Stay

We absolutely enjoyed staying here. The house was very clean, the kitchen was fully stocked with pots/pans/dishes/silverware. Everything we needed was there. The location of this property was amazing both to the beach and other attractions. Ron also kept in touch with us while we were there. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Home with Great Views

We have been staying at this beach house for years and it never disappoints. The house is clean and well kept with many amenities. It is a short walk to the beach which can be viewed while in the porch hammock.

Perfect size, location and amenities!

The Sandmann House is in a perfect location one house off the beach which gives you the privacy you desire just steps away from the sand. The house includes all the goodies you need for a fun family trip! We enjoyed volleyball on the beach, relaxing in the hammock on the deck enjoying the ocean breeze and the icy cold air conditioning when the sun wouldn’t quit. 6 kids and 4 adults fit comfortably. This is a great spot to be close to things to do but also enjoy the peace and quiet of the beach. Highly recommend!

Family wedding stay

Property was 130 steps from ocean Views were remarkable from decks Hammock on lower deck and shade was perfect Extra fridge was super convenient and all the toys available were so convenient Only odd thing to us was to wash and dry sheets kept us maybe an hour longer on departure day That was new for renting to us but overall not a big deal we had a lot of family in town and this seemed the norm on obx and another family had to make their beds on arrival.. not here communication with owner was quick friendly and polite Absolutely excellent stay and grateful for the experience Highly recommend this rental

Perfect for our family

The beautiful home was perfect for our family of 9, ages ranging from 12 and up. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor space, and an easy walk to the beach. The owner was so easy to work with, very informative, and we loved every minute!

My wife, Shannon, & I have been married for 25 years. We have one daughter, and a Shitzu named Sissy (my daughter named her that because that was the only sister she wanted). We are Bible believing Christians and we consider ourselves to be very blessed with all that God has given us.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We chose South Nags Head because it is close to all of the restaurants, shops, and 'things to do', but it's not right in the heart of all the people that vacation on the Outer Banks. Our beach house is located on a private street with semi-private beach access available only to the guests of E. Oriental St (10 cottages). Both of us spent many summers as kids and young adults vacationing in Nags Head and always wanted a place of our own at the beach. South Nags Head is close to everything yet still quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. Also, waking up each morning to crashing waves and dolphins in the surf is a real plus for us!

Being right at the beach is spectacular! with just a few steps you are 'in the water'. The semi-private beach access means you can spread out and enjoy the beach with a game of volleyball or touch football without having to worry about encroaching on other people. The views here are amazing with the sunrise over the ocean and watching the dolphins cruise up and down the shoreline every morning. At night night there is nothing like going to sleep hearing only the waves crashing on the shore. It truly is very relaxing!
