Enjoyed our stay. The outdoor pool was great! Access to the beach was fantastic. Unfortunately, the hot tub was not usable during our stay. Some minor issues with ceiling fans in a couple of the bedrooms.

Absolutely wonderful!

We had a lovely week, the house is beautiful and stocked with everything you could possibly need. The kids really enjoyed having both the pool and quick beach access. Great location too! We would definitely come back.

Excellent house

This was the most well furnished and stocked home I have ever stayed in at obx. The kitchen had everything I could possibly need to cook which was a huge help in cooking meals so we didn’t have to eat out every night. The pool was clean and heated perfectly so even when the weather wasn’t great we still got some great outdoor time. The beds were also the most comfortable I’ve experienced at any rental in obx. It was a very quick and easy walk to the beach. The host was very kind and easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay here again!

It was a wonderful week , there were a few small maintenance things ( the fan in the upstairs bedroom was off balance and wobbled making noise while trying to sleep , and a few loose boards on the deck ) , and trying to figure out all the different tv controls for the different bedrooms , but overall a great stay and experience .

Good stay

Our stay was very good because of the location and amenities of the house such as location on the beach, pool, hot tub, 5 Bedrooms, well stocked full kitchen. There were a lot of little things that needed attention that were just annoying but didn't greatly impact our stay. Ran out of gas so no heated pool for couple days; Hot Tub continually needed filling (may be a leak?); couldn't get living room fireplace to work; no water in the water water cooler system, also outdated water filter in the fridge so no good filtered water; battery in CO sensor died so had to remove it, reported and not replaced; door in master bedroom won't latch and stay closed; toilet in master BR runs; lightbulb in 2nd floor BR ceiling fan light was burned out. Overall, we were comfortable but house, bikes, etc. are a little dated and needs some attention to detail to make it great.

Our wonderful time at this very special OBX vacation rental.

We were super excited to have found our Nag’s head VRBO vacation rental. The house was wonderful, clean, fully equipped, and accommodating all of our needs. The downstairs area comes with full complement of weights and full living quarters. The 2nd floor with three bedrooms and two bathrooms leads to a perfect outdoor deck space which we used as an office when needing a quiet spot. It's a great evening relaxation area, with its own exit from the house to the pool, Jacuzzi, and beach access. The top floor is a combined fully equipped kitchen, living room, dining area, and media space fully connected to all streaming services. We also found a great assortment of spices and condiments to add to our meals. The top outdoor deck provided a fantastic view of the beach where we were able to watch the dolphins and the waves rolling in. A world class barbecue on this top level deck makes it very easy to prepare dinners and enjoy them with the beach views. The sumptuous living room area, features a spacious, wall mounted TV, every possible streaming service is ready to go, and one remote does it all. No need to hunt around for those pesky Bluetooth cables, our iPhones found the TV’s Google Chrome link, streaming our Spotify favorites instantly. The house comes with even more! Boogie boards, a dozen bikes, beach games, and we can’t fail to mention, an amazing hot tub, yes, a hot tub which can hold 4 just fine. Oh by the way, there is a pool. Yes, let’s just add more to your holiday fun, a pool! The pool is heated to a very comfortable level. Perfect for late night swimming. We relaxed nightly in the “Kings and Queens tub” as we called it. And let’s not forget, just a short beach walk, minutes away from South Nags Head pier with a wonderful outdoor restaurant, amazing food and a large selection of local draft beers. We made sure not to miss out on the .15 cent shrimp specials during Happy Hours. The house comes with an easy private entry to the beach - endless white beaches stretching to the distant horizon, white caps and breaking waves rounding out your views. We were lucky enough to see pods of dolphins, dancing among the whitecaps. We can go on and on about how much we enjoyed our time at this house, and are happy to share our unbridled enthusiasm for Susan’s and Rob’s very special place. The owners were wonderful, very responsive to any questions we had. We enjoyed our time and will definitely return. Sure you will have a great time too!

Overall, the house was quite shabby for the price point. The pictures are more flattering than the actual property. FYI: I cleaned the gas grill grates but was charged the 75 grill cleaning fee. They expected it to also be cleaned UNDER the grates and burners. CONS: The pool deck had raised rusty nails and splinters. The moldy smell mentioned in multiple reviews is strongest in the basement bedroom. The comforters on the beds are quite old with holes. Toilet paper and towel wall racks are falling off the walls. The ceilings had water stains. The kitchen had ants.The quickest route to the back deck and pool is through the master bedroom, making it less private. The dinning table is in a corner, making it a tight fit for more than four people. The top floor deck has seating built into the railing that makes it less safe for small children. Parking is very tight for more than two cars.PROS: The pool would get sandy from the wind, but a pool cleaner came mid week to clean it out. The view and location are amazing. You can quickly walk to a nice restaurant on the pier via the beach. The outdoor shower was nice.Plenty of beach towels are provided.

Fun in the Sun

We had a great time during our stay. The property was in a good location and very clean with a lot of room to spread out. The pool and hot tub were perfect and where we spent a lot of time along with the kitchen and upstairs family room. The host provided a lot of extra pool toys, puzzles, games, and the kitchen had a lot of tools to cook with. I do wish the pots and pans were newer. They are well used by many! Easy check in and check out and the host is very communicative. Thank you for a great time!

Exceptional Nags Head Home

This is a fantastic property! The house is beautifully maintained and decorated. The pool is WONDERFUL! And, the location on the beach with a clear view to the ocean is perfect. We spent a lot of time on the decks looking out onto the ocean. Like many other OBX properties that are suitable for a large family, there are lots of stairs - not a problem for most. I highly recommend this beautiful beach home. Oh, and I appreciated the kitchen stocked with all the normal things - spices, condiments, and much more.

Thanksgiving Family Reunion

This was the perfect spot for us to meet our adult sons for Thanksgiving. The kitchen was equipped enough to cook a Thanksgiving feast!. The boys enjoyed the hot tub while we read, puzzled and relaxed inside. Within walking distance to both piers and November weather is perfect for a walk between them. There was something for everyone here, and plenty of room to spread out. Thank you for everything!

Fantastic Beach House

Beautiful home and perfect for our family. The decor was outstanding and the cleanliness was excellent. Walking to the beach was great and easy to access. The top balcony offered stunning views of the ocean. The home is complete with all the necessary amenities for both adults and young children to enjoy and have a good time. The home was full of items such as bicycles, beach towels, pool/sand toys, game boards, books to read while relaxing, a pool, and a hot tub. This is a wonderful place, and it has been one of the best vacation homes I've ever stayed in.

Disappointing stay

We were greatly looking forward to our week at the beach with my spouse, our 3 children and parents. When we arrived numerous things in the house were broken or not working. However, the owner addressed the issues within 48 hours. On our 2nd day in the house, my 2 young children were body surfing in the ocean, laughing and having fun. They are black and were subjected to unrelenting, awful racist insults but someone who said he was a neighbor (although not one of the immediate neighbors). The following day those same neighbors planted their beach chairs immediately next to our house and continued to harass our children and us. My husband and I are a same-sex couple, and the family rolled their eyes and made insulting gestures whenever we walked by. We have never experienced such brazen racism and homophobia. We left on our 2nd day, feeling unsafe and extremely disturbed by our stay. If you're LGBT or people of color, I would be cautious about vacationing here.

Relaxing beach house

This house has everything that you need. Rooms are very accommodating. Kitchen is fully equipped. Easy beach access makes for long relaxing days on the beach. The pool provides entertainment in the evenings. Spectacular views from upper deck and nice covered deck on second floor. We would consider this property again.

Such a wonderful vacation!

The house was everything we expected and more. The location was fantastic. The beach was not crowded despite being peak season. the upper level deck was my favorite place. i loved watching the sunrise there and watching the waves and looking at the stars after dark. We had 2 families staying here, including 4 children ranging in age from 2-7. The kids loved the house, and there was plenty of space for them to run around and play. The pool was so great for the kids. We spent mornings at the beach and then afternoons at the pool. the house was well equipped with beach and pool toys. Communication with the owners was great. I would love to stay here again someday!
