Beautiful House
My family and I booked this house in San Diego for mine and my mom's birthdays. First, let me say that this was a beautiful home and looked just like the photos. The furnishings were really nice and I liked the layout of the home. The pool is a nice size and we had so much fun swimming. It's also pretty close to all the activities in San Diego. We went to the Safari Park, Old Town, and Coronado Island. It was like a 30 min drive everywhere we went. Also, the property managers were very helpful responsive. The only negatives we had were:
1) The pool vacuum had to remain in the pool at all times. I did not know that this was part of the agreement until after I paid and signed the contract. I've never been in a pool where the owners kept the vacuum while we swam, so this was very weird. The large hose kept floating in the middle of the pool while we tried to swim. This was a negative for us because the main reason I chose this house was to be able to swim, so we were a bit bummed about this. However, we made the most of it anyway and had alot of fun.
2) The rooms are very dark and my husband had to buy night lights while we were there for each bedroom and the hallway so that no one tripped on the way to the bathroom at night. Only one of the bedrooms had a lamp on the night stand by the bed. It would be nice if the owner could maybe invest in putting lamps and night lights in the bedrooms. It wasn't a huge issue, but I just thought I'd mention it.
Over all, we enjoyed it.
