THE PROPERTY:
Welcome to PoStickNo Lodge, and get ready to step into luxury in this beautifully furnished, elegant, and luxurious mountain home nestled in the new Forever Wild area of Snowshoe Resort!  This custom-designed stunning home was built in 2023, and comfortably accommodates up to twenty Guests, ensuring everyone in your group has fond recollections of your memorable getaway.

You'll be amazed as you enter to see the spacious living room with floor-to-cathedral-ceiling windows and real hardwood covering the walls throughout. On the main floor, relax in the plush couches as you enjoy the inviting wood-burning fireplace, or watch the 65" smart TV (with sound bar).  On the main floor, you'll find a beautifully appointed king bedroom suite with a 50" smart TV and a modern bathroom with two sinks, a shower, and a jetted tub.

Your gourmet kitchen and dining area adjoin the living room on this open floor plan. With seating for seventeen just in the dining area and kitchen, and another six outside at the picnic table on the covered wrap-around balcony, your large group and all enjoy your meals together.  As you step outside on the main level, enjoy the mixed aromas of fresh mountain air and delicious food cooked to perfection on the Blackstone gas griddle grill also located on that wrap-around balcony.

Venture upstairs to the theater loft area to find generous seating accommodations where you and a dozen of your travel companions will sink cozily into the giant couches to watch your favorite movie on the huge 85" smart TV.  The loft level houses two separate king bedroom suites, each with 50" smart TVs and modern bathrooms with tub/shower combos.

The downstairs level is another area to unwind and watch TV.  This floor features three separate sleeping areas; one king bedroom suite and two bunk rooms. The king bedroom suite features a 50" smart TV and a modern bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Each bunk room sleeps up to six people on a twin-over-twin bunk with a trundle bed underneath, and a twin-over-full bunk. The lower level also houses the laundry area, with two sets of modern, front-loading washer/dryer pairings.

Outside, you and up to seven others can relax and unwind in your private hot tub after a day of exploration. The hot tub water is changed between every booking, and on every fourth day of a booking (additional charges will apply for this mandatory 4th-day cleaning). Additional notes: 
- The property has five full bathrooms (one of which is a double bathroom) and a half bathroom.
- Please note that a hot tub cleaning fee is included in the housekeeping fee. However, stays of five nights or longer will require a mid-stay hot tub clean at the cost of an additional $75 (plus tax). For Guests booking through Airbnb, we will send you a payment request to cover this cost.
- Up to two dogs are allowed in the property.  Please let us know ahead of time the number of dogs you are bringing.  There is a $100, non-refundable pet fee per dog.  Please be a responsible pet owner and pick up after your dog(s).
- Up to eight vehicles may be parked in front of the PoStickNo Lodge. Please be sure to leave room for vehicles at the neighboring house to pass by to the road.
- During the summer, bikes may be stored in the secure garage area next to the Lodge.
- The Upper Flume slope (home to The Flume Shack) is the closest ski run to the PoStickNo Lodge, at just 700 feet down the road.
- The property is 1/5 of a mile to the closest access point to the slopes. From there, you can ski down to the nearest lift which is the Soaring Eagle high-speed quad.
- The property is 1/4 of a mile (about 9 minutes) to The Village. It's also 1/5 of a mile (about 5 minutes) to the nearest bus stop which will take you anywhere you want to go on the mountain to include The Village.
- Please bring beach towels for the hot tub.
- This property is equipped with an outdoor doorbell camera for security purposes.
- Party away on the mountain or at a local restaurant. But, please, no parties with Guests outside of your group in the Lodge.


THE RESORT:

At 4,848 feet, Snowshoe Mountain has the best skiing south of Vermont and east of Colorado, and is the perfect all-season destination in West Virginia’s Allegheny Mountains. You’re sure to find an activity to keep all your family members happy.

- Winter – With an average yearly snowfall of 180 inches, the mountain offers 250 acres of skiable terrain, 61 slopes, 12 lifts, night skiing in Silver Creek, and 5 terrain parks for all skill levels. When you feel like taking a break from skiing or snowboarding, try out other activities such as the Coca-Cola tubing park, off-road 4-wheeler tours, snowmobile tours, and horse-drawn sleigh rides, to name just a few.

- Summer – Enjoy the Snowshoe Bike Park with 40 downhill trails waiting for you to conquer. Other activities include cross-country cycling, hiking, horseback riding, geocaching, clay pigeon shooting, golfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, disc golf, fishing, and relaxing on the soft, sandy beach on the shore of Shavers Lake.


EARLY CHECK-IN: While we know you are excited to kick off your vacation, please note we cannot guarantee anything earlier than a 5:00 PM check-in.

LATE CHECK-OUT: Unfortunately, these are not possible, since our cleaning team needs every available minute to clean and reset this huge house (to include draining and refilling the hot tub). If you’d like a late checkout so you can enjoy all the mountain has to offer, we’re happy to book you for another night, if the PoStickNo Lodge is available.

PARKING: Up to eight vehicles can park for free right in front of the PoStickNo Lodge.
