Vårt hus ligger nära det vackra centrala Victoria. Vi är bara en 10 minuters promenad från inre hamnen och Beacon Hill Park och har nära till havet, Fishermans Wharf och många av Victorias stora attraktioner. Du kommer att älska vår plats eftersom det är bland de trevligaste totalrenoverade arvshusen i Victorias främsta historiska stadsdel. Enheten för uthyrning är både huvud- och övre våningen i huset - cirka 2300 kvadratfot. Njut av hästdragna vagnar som passerar förbi på gatan. Vår plats är bra för par, affärsresenärer, familjer och större grupper.

Great location, facility’s and host.

We enjoyed our stay in James Bay. The location is a five minute walk from inner harbour and downtown and a 10 minute to the ocean. This property is a 110 year gem with some modern upgrades but still has the feeling of a historical home. Not to mention the great host who welcomed us and made us feel right at home.

Beautiful Victoria

Cute craftsman style historic bungalow. Plenty of room for a family. Ideally located on a quiet street yet highly walkable to everything. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Perfect walking location

Located in James Bay, behind the Legislative buildings within walking distance of downtown, Beacon Hill Park and Cook Street Village. Wonderful kitchen, front and back decks and fabulous tv and reading sunroom so time spent here is as enjoyable as your days out.

Fabulous!

This is the best VRBO we have ever rented. The unit is beautifully furnished and very comfortable. It is fully stocked with necessities including a spice rack. The location is wonderful with grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops and other services within walking distance. The parliament building, harbor and museum are an easy walk. The owner is charming and was extremely helpful. Little problems were taken care of promptly and cheerfully. We would go back in a minute!

Lovely Refurbished 1909 Home in James Bay

We had the loveliest time in this centrally located home in James Bay. There’s really no need for a car here as absolutely everything you could possibly want is a short walk away! Groceries, restaurants, Victoria Harbour and Beacon Hill Park are mere blocks away! But if you do have a car, there is plenty of driveway space to park it. We arrived to a welcome package of bagels, OJ and butter and a bottle of wine! What a lovely touch! You will be hard pressed to find anything wrong with this home! And if you are like us, it will be hard to leave! Thank you Mike and Chris for everything!

Exceptional Location and Hospitality

There are many qualities for evaluating a vacation rental: location, quality of unit, communication with host, service, size, comfort, cleanliness, attractiveness of interiors. Very few merit five stars in all these factors. This one does. The location,a quiet street a couple of blocks behind the Parliament, is exceptionally convenient to Victoria’s major tourist areas. You can walk to everything. The property is a beautifully modernized historic building, including a large new kitchen. The hospitality level is above and beyond: the welcome package included coffee, tea, bagels, milk, orange juice, cereal, and more. Chris responded really quickly to all messages. His friendly dad, who lives below the rental, helped out with any questions and was never intrusive. Could not recommend more highly. The author of this review had over 25 years of senior management experience in the resort industry. We have done literally years of vacation rentals in seven countries, including six summers on Vancouver Island.

Never disappoints

I’ve stayed in this lovely home on 3 separate occasions and every time has been exceptional! The home is nicely appointed with modern amenities but still retains its old world charm. It’s so perfectly located to all the best spots to walk to and the owner provided a touching arrival gift of kitchen basics and fresh juice and bagels. Fresh flowers also greeted us! The back patio is an oasis and the back tv room is a bright cozy corner to relax in with a great view of the giant weeping willow in the back yard. The summer heat does make the upstairs a little toasty but the main ground floor stayed nice and cool. I will definitely want to stay here again!

Awesome place , close to the great JameyBay and Victoria vibe

Beautiful place, very clean. Great location. So nice to have flowers, a bottle of wine, coffee and bagels to start us off. Chris and Mike were so very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend. We had a fantastic stay.

Best Stay Ever!

This home is everything, and more, as advertised. Well appointed, thoroughly equipped, and very comfortable residence near everything you want to see in town. Located 5-10 minutes walk from Victoria’s main attractions, yet in a quiet and lovely neighborhood, this home invites drinks on the deck, quiet afternoon naps, and privacy for multiple guests. We loved our stay and hope to return!

A charming bungalow in a perfect location.

My friends and I wanted to see Butchart Gardens in the spring, and this was the perfect place to stay. Bright and clean and lovely and walking distance to the harbor, grocery store, and restaurants. We were welcomed with bagels in the refrigerator and fresh flowers and wine on the counter. Michael was friendly and hospitable, and we couldn't have had a nicer time in his lovely home.

A beautiful house in a lovely old neighborhood. Close to everything

The house was immaculate and beautifully appointed. It was spacious - we were an east coast family coming for a big west coast celebration with our family here We could have friends and family over. We cooked and worked and enjoyed the house every moment. Its a close walk to downtown, to yoga and to shopping Everyone wanted to know how we had found it luck. The luck of VRBO

Very clean and beautiful house!

You know you've picked the right place the moment you step inside. Every detail is taken care of, and the home itself is beautiful, from its Craftsman-style bones to the impeccable furnishings. Everything has been renovated, and the kitchen and bathrooms are lovely. We had such a good time.

Beautiful Heritage Home

Fantastic location in James Bay within walking distance of parks,waterfront,restaurants,grocery store... Very spacious layout which provided 3 large bedrooms, well appointed kitchen and lots of living space. Appreciated the off the street parking. If the weather and our schedule had allowed, we would have enjoyed using the barbecue and back deck. Our only concern is that we might be spoiled for other rentals!! Hope to return some day!!

Excellent place to stay.

The house was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need. It was recently updated and beautifully done. Beds are very comfortable. No TV's in bedrooms. It is in a great location. It's about a 5 minute drive to the ferry and an 8 to 10 minute walk to town. The neighborhood is very quiet. Great property!

If you need a place in this area, stay here!

I've rented many times through vrbo and airbnb and this is one of the very best experiences I've had. We were able to walk to the Parliament and harbor in about 15 minutes. The house was immaculate and very comfortable. We really appreciated all the extras such as the flowers that greeted us, the bottle of wine, the bagels, and the popping corn. If I visit again, I will definitely stay here.

Very Impressive!

It is a beautiful house and has all the amenities that you would need. Hosts were very friendly and offered ideas for restaurants and things to do in the area. We will definitely consider staying here again when we return.

Wonderful Stay - Beautiful Home

Home is 'as advertised' -- a beautiful heritage home on a lovely street in the heart of Victoria. Hosts are exceptional: kind, attentive, responsive and very nice folks. This is a very high quality home - great renovation, very large (easily accommodated my family of 5), nice updates to kitchen and bath, plus great deck off the kitchen for breakfast/dinner outside. The upstairs is a great area for kids with a separate living space and tv. Grocery, pharmacy and neighborhood restaurants are a short walk. The inner harbor and its attractions are also a short walk. We did not need a car for days that we did not drive up-island. For kids, beacon hill park and fisherman's wharf are also a short walk. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful property, great location.

This property is perfect for a family vacation, or for an extended business trip. The home is spacious, with all the modern amenities one needs. There is enough room to have your own space for those travelling together that may not want to spend every waking moment with one another. The property is located on a quiet residential street, located a short walk from the inner harbor, downtown core, and the tourism and shopping districts. There is a small neighborhood center less than 5 minutes walk away with a grocery store, pharmacy restaurants, and several other amenities. Chris, was very responsive to our emails. It is the perfect balance between quiet getaway and convenient location. Our family will be back.

A Beautiful House in a Great Location

Our stay over the Christmas holidays here was great. The house is very well stocked, spacious, and comfortable. There was enough room to have a family Christmas dinner for 7 people. Everything in the house worked well and was very well maintained. The location is very convenient to downtown, Beacon Hill park, and amenities.

Lovely house in a great neighborhood, very close to attractions

The house is beautiful, spacious and comfortable. We stayed with another family and the kids loved having the upstairs to use as a separate play area while the adults relaxed downstairs. A sunny, stocked kitchen made breakfasts and dinners a delight, while the deck and yard provided a quiet retreat. Everything was well appointed and the location is quite convenient. You can walk to the Inner Harbour, Beacon Hill Park or the grocery store in a matter of minutes. The description is spot-on and Chris gave us all the info we needed, no hassle. All-in-all, a great vacation experience!

Perfect for a family getaway!

Our family enjoyed a few days at Chris's house in Victoria. It was beautifully furnished and updated. Our hosts Mike and Joyce were gracious hosts and the place was immaculate. There was plenty to see without getting in your car. We highly recommend this place.
