Though the damage was done, things happen, I understand. But I wanted to say, owners/company thank you for recomp to make it up. Like I said before, the cabin is absolutely beautiful and highly recommend staying there.

Very nice and perfectly secluded cabin. Nice and quiet in the mornings while enjoying coffee on the balcony. Plenty of privacy to relax. The amenities were great, and the cabin was very clean. We really enjoyed our stay.

My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate our anniversary. This cabin was the perfect size. We enjoyed the hot tub and even saw a baby bear the first night of our stay. My only complaint would be about the tub inside. We found some hair in it. And when we turned on the jets, there was a smell. Everything else, it was a really nice stay. Thank you for having us.

New Years Weekend

The property was in great condition. We had everything we needed for our stay and we were comfortable. The initial finding of the cabin was easy just by following the direction sent to us (If you use Waze it will take you closer to the cabin before you need to start using the directions). We would recommended this to anyone who wants to get away from the people and the noise.

Nice getaway

Very nice cabin! Pretty quiet. Roads narrow. Had to remove knobs on doors under sink to get the oven door open, no big deal. Overall a great place to stay in the mountains! Definitely would go back.

Nice Getaway

Really enjoyed our stay at this cabin! Relatively secluded and quiet. Roads were very narrow so if you have a large vehicle such as a truck or large suv it is a little stressful getting around. Cabinet knobs on kitchen doors under sink prevent the oven from opening but that didn’t take away from the experience! Lovely little cabin and we would go back again for sure.

Great property! If you don’t like stairs between you and the bathroom wouldn’t recommend.

We absolutely loved this cabin. My husbands only complaint was that he had to go up and down the stairs in the middle of the night for the bathroom. I have no complaints. Just exactly what we expected. Was wonderful!

Average accommodations with multiple opportunity for improvement

Overall, no major complaints as other reviews and experiences accurately describe the property. However future renters could benefit if multiple minor accommodation issues are addressed. Cleaning the black mold off the bathroom walls & ceiling (I was able to write “clean me” in the shower) door security latch screws pulled out of metal door, only 1 regular size spoon, detailed dusting is needed, and the hot tub chlorine level was so high it bleached/faded my wife’s suit after 1 use. We paid a heady cleaning fee given the condition of the cabin.

Our TN Mountain Home

This is our 4th year staying in this cozy little cabin nestled in the mountain above Gatlinburg. We love the cabin and the convenience of being so close to the town. We have always brought our own firewood to keep the house heated on cold nights as the cabin is very drafty. In the past, the Christmas tree has been set up and festive for our getaway. This year it was not yet set up or decorated. So that was a little bummer. The very first year we stayed the screen on the porch behind the hot tub was not attached and flapping so that the snow would flutter in. This year more of the screen has deteriorated and nothing has been repaired. The shower head is still a bit outdated and doesn’t put out a good pressure. The kitchen sink leaks. The refrigerator still makes a weird noise and will wake you up in the middle of the night. The cleanliness of the cabin overall seemed better this year but they could still use some guidance on how to clean. The towels are threadbare and need replacement as they are the same ones from our first stay. We still love staying here but feel the owners need to put a little more effort in maintenance and cleanliness if they are going to continue to charge such high prices. We look forward to next year’s stay already as we have made friends with many of the locals in the area.
