Mountain Lake Hideaway is a stunning two-level log cabin with one bedroom (queen bed), one bathroom, and a separate downstairs game room located in a natural wooded setting offering the feeling of tranquility in the heart of the Arts & Crafts Community with wooded mountain views and within walking distance to a nearby pond. This beautifully decorated log cabin is situated with convenience to downtown Gatlinburg, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and Pigeon Forge. For those looking for relaxation to enjoy the scenery, the covered three-sided wraparound deck offers two wooden rockers, a wooden swing, a gas grill, and a hot tub. A separate game room downstairs with its own outside entrance offers a Pool Table, Games, Smart TV, Futon, Recliner, and Bistro Table for 2 along with a covered private balcony. This romantic log cabin is accented with a stone gas fireplace, fully furnished kitchen, washer & dryer, Roku Smart TVs, Jacuzzi, large private yard area, and all the luxuries for your home away from home. Mountain Lake Hideaway is perfect for couples, hikers, writers, artists, double dates, families, honeymoons, anniversaries, or romantic weekend getaways in the Smoky Mountains.

- **Secure Food and Trash:** To avoid attracting wildlife, please ensure that all food and garbage are securely stored inside the cabin or in bear-proof containers.

It was cozy. The water pressure was not very good and took almost an hour to fill up the tub with jets in the bathroom. Didn’t realize upon looking at it originally that you had to go outside to get to the game room. Nice place over all and good location/distance to Gatlinburg

The cabin needed some bulbs replaced we advised owner and no fix. Hard to play pool in the dark and cooking without light over stove. Pans were well worn and chips on coffee cups. Outside of some updating of cooking gear cabin was beautiful 7 out of 10. Would go again.

The cabin was perfect. We were far away from the hustle and bustle but yet close enough to be in the middle of it in no time. We had great excess to groceries, gas and all convenience. The cabin was cleaned and stock with what we needed. Communication was great. Had no trouble finding it. Recommend staying here.

Nice little cabin, but it is very small. A couple of positive things, the location was good. It’s a cute cabin, decor is cute and mattress is comfortable. Take note there is a very large and deep pit hole at the beginning of the drive, it had rained so we didn’t see it, my car bottomed out leaving a large scuff under the front bumper. Hot tub is large and pool table is a nice addition. Now about the pool table, the “game” room does not have access from the main living quarters. You need to go outside down a flight of stairs and into the basement. Not handy at night for sure. The whole cabin has a musty/moldy smell to it, with the basement being the worst. All of our belongings needed to be aired out once we got home to get rid of the smell. The bathroom is very small and the shower is tiny. I guess for two people it’s adequate. The owner was friendly and communicated nicely. Overall not bad, but not sure I would book again.

Property could use some dusting fan was on and you could see all the particles falling, the curtains and around the floor boards. Also, it smells like mold in the bathroom. The shower door needs fixed on the left side. Other than that good location, but doesn't have a view of any mountain. You for sure need WiFi in that location.

The Cabin was lovely and easy to find. Road condition were good. The cabin was clean and comfortable, the drive to Gatlinburg is easy and quick.

Anniversary trip

We enjoyed our time in the cabin. It was a good size for the two of us but it would be harder with a bigger group. Had a hard time figuring out what to do with our bags. And the bathroom could use better lighting. But overall it was just as described and I loved that it was secluded. Anna was very responsive. It was a nice vacation!

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

This property is in a great location. Short driving distance to everything! Plus, there are no steep driveways or crazy windy roads to get to it. More importantly, we are not overpopulated with cabins around us! You get quiet, and privacy, especially in the Spring/Summertime when all the trees are full.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Peaceful, private, and a great place to disconnect and reconnect - yet, very easily accessed and very convenient to the National Park, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and the local restaurants and attractions. It is hard to find a cabin in the Smoky Mountains that offers this amount of privacy, while still being extremely close to all that downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge have to offer.
