In the Mountains but Close to Everything

This was a beautiful cabin that was perfect for our family of 4 + grandma. No steps into the house made it easy for her to come in and out of the house. The two pull outs and 2 bedrooms gave everyone their own sleeping space. The kitchen had everything that we needed for breakfasts at home. We are looking at purchasing a property nearby and this was perfectly located to that property and everything we wanted to see in town. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay for a family of 6

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was a great location and very quiet. It was a short drive to anywhere we needed to go. We enjoyed Mini golf, Mountain coasters, and the island. Then we got to relax at the cabin at night and enjoy the hot tub. We were hoping to see Bears, but did not. We were however eaten alive by ninja mosquitoes. Bug spray is a must!

Hey, the place was alright. We saw some bears though, that was cool. The grill was all rusty and didn't have any gas, but they fixed it quick. The inside was clean, except for a few cobwebs. The outside could definitely use a good power wash. Would stay here again without hesitation.

December 2023 Stay

Smoky Mountain Christmas was a dream! We loved sour stay and the area surrounding the cabin. The town of Townsend nearby was darling. We enjoyed breakfast at Hillbilly’s and also Elvira’s. We will be back …. Cabin was perfect!

Nice get away from stress for a week!

Our Vacation

We had a great time. The house was perfect. We even had visitors twice and by that I mean a momma bear and her three cubs. They came the second time the morning we left. The momma was scratching at the front door.

Great place to stay, very clean, great communication with owner. He let us know everything where pool was and good places to eat. Owners were very accommodating. Very quiet place to stay. Would definitely stay there again!

July 2023 Stay

Very nice cabin in secluded location, however still close enough to go hiking, enjoy Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Seen a momma bear and 3 cubs right down the road, and other wildlife. Would recommend this. Fall and winter would be a beautiful view over the mountains.

Vacation 2023

Our family of four stayed at this cabin for our family vacation. Both our kids, age 12 & 13 thought it was great. We loved the quiet surroundings and how peaceful it was after a day of “tourist” stuff. My only comment would be to fix the lighting as several of the light bulbs didn’t seem to be working and parts of the dinning area were dim for playing cards. Also some of the jetts in the hot tub didn’t work but it was still good enough for our family. The distance to activities and the park trails was easy. Once we adjusted to our area we got around quick and liked the location. The Dollar General in Wears Valley has almost everything you need. Definitely take the short drive up the Foothills Parkway that’s right by the cabin. The view is amazing and it’s quick and easy. We didn’t see any bears but maybe that’s a good thing. Overall we had a great time and we’d recommend the cabin.

Relaxing and secluded!

Not too far from all the attractions! The cabin was cozy and secluded. The cleanliness wasn't the greatest, however, we enjoyed our stay and got to see a bear!

Nice and quiet home in the Mountains

Repeat renter over the years.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: In the past my wife, another couple and I have repeatedly rented the cabin Moonlight Magic. It was always clean, in good repair and well stocked with all the items needed to prepare meals etc. However our visit this past April 2023 was different. The cabin was not anywhere as clean as in the past, there was no DVD player and the porch was poorly maintained. (The planks were coming up in a couple of places and were in need of immediate repair plus the whole porch could use a fresh coat of paint.) I called the office and passed on what we found and they immediately sent the maintenance man over to repair the porch and deliver a new DVD player. I didn't comment on the other finding and we enjoyed the rest of our stay. PS: The maintenance man was very kind and helpful. We are scheduled to stay at Moonlight Magic again this month. I hope I can give a better experience report after words.
