Small upgrades will make an excellent property.

Overall, my family and I really enjoyed staying at this property. We were pleased won’t the location and directions and information provided before and during our stay. The bits of feedback I am offering are minor, but would go a long way to improve the experience. First, there was a bit of sand on the floor in the kitchen upon arriving. Being a beach front property, this isn’t shocking, but cleaning should always be a priority. along those same lines, it seemed evident by the appearance and checkout instructions that the pillow shams and comforters on the beds are not washed in between guests. We were told at checkout to remove all sheets and pillow cases but leave the comforters and shams. I hope I am incorrect, because this is quite unsanitary if it is the case. Additionally, the thin quilts on the beds were the only blankets in the property. There were plenty of pillows of which at least half had shams that were not washed, but no additional blankets. At least one extra blanket per bed would have been nice. Finally, there is really nothing that can be done about this but for future guest, just be aware the parking garage is very tight and small. We witnesses at least one person scratch their vehicle while attempting to park. Again, thankful they have parking onsite, but just very tight. We also could have used a 3rd parking pass, as it was a four bed condo rated for 12 people, so logical we would have more than 2 cars. Overflow parking was available next door.

Fun

The place was really nice. Great location. Parking not so much. The parking garage is very tight if you’re driving a large vehicle, like a suburban. The view was amazing. Other than the parking the only downside things in the condo were there wasn’t a hand held mixer in the kitchen if you’re wanting to cook. And almost every door in the condo is squeaky. So if you’re trying to be quiet while others sleep. That won’t be happening. One of the bedroom doors doesn’t even close shut. Also I’ve never stayed in a place that only leaves only 1 dishrag and 1 dish towel for a week. And not a hand towel in any of the bathrooms. Lastly the condo doesn’t close unless you push it closed.

Beachside condo

Beautiful condo with great views right on the beach. Pools were too cool to use this time of year. No soap, shampoo, beach towels, extra blankets or hair dryers provided.

Great family vacation spot

This property worked very nicely for our family. Each bedroom had it's own bath, which was a big plus! Furnishings were great. The kitchen had plenty of room and had a big pantry closet. The pool and beach were never too crowded for us to have fun. We would definitely go again!

Not worth the expensive price tag

When we arrived, we thought the place looked clean. The microwave is rusted, there was food in The oven drawer. There was food crumbs in the couches. The first bedroom had someones used underwhere. The wallpaper is falling off the walls. The furniture is falling apart. The sliding glass door didnt lock.There was curtains but they were not the right size and were falling apart. The carpet was coming up when you first walk in. Once you get down to the lazy river, the windows and doors were all out of the frames, but they left the hinges above the frame. The pool outside had bandaids and things floating around even after it was the following day when it should have been cleaned. The overall view was nice and the space but for the amount of money we spent was not worth the 3k we spent for less than a week. Would I choose to stay here again? No This place needs a good face lift and then maybe the price would make sense. My point is i have stayed at other places for less money and had a nicer updated place.

Mostly good

Property was in generally good condition. Pillows, towels, sheets, and kitchen towels were below average. The electrical switches were all tied to different outlets which led to mass confusion when trying to turn on or off lights/tv. Stove is so worn that you can’t tell which burner the knobs control. Microwave was filthy and coffee pot took 20 minutes to brew due to heavy scaling. The view was gorgeous from the balcony but some of the curtains were barely held up on the rod. Other than the master, the bathroom showers were height appropriate for someone under 5’ 3”. HOA has rules against car top racks and so both of our vehicles got love notes warning they’d be towed or booted within 3 hours… guess it’s a good thing we went to the garage and saw the notes since no one at the facility came to TELL US we had committed such a horrible crime. Had to pay for parking next door because of this. I recognize this last bit is out of the control of the unit management, but it wasn’t ever disclosed to us ahead of time. Overall the property was not worth the very premium price we paid. We will not be returning.

Family Vacation

Fantastic spot for a family beach vacation. The unit was as described and clean. All keyless access but you will need codes for entry to the building, access to the penthouse floor, and into the unit itself. The kitchen was stocked well for us. Though the listed didn't mention it, there is a closet with some beach chairs, frisbees, beach toys, etc. We purchased a styrofoam cooler for the week and left it in the same closet for those staying after us. I do recommend this unit for a family or group of friends looking to be right on the beach.

6 adult mini family reunion

This property was just beautiful and plenty of room for a mini family reunion for 6 of us. The balcony view was so gorgeous and we sat out there several times taking in the view and enjoying the company. We found parking for a third car right next door and the overall location was quiet and relaxing. Separate bathrooms with each bedroom was very convenient and gave everyone plenty of privacy. We absolutely would stay here again!

Beautiful

Beautiful property, close to everything yet quiet. Condo was large & roomy. Didn’t feel closed in, even tho we had 5 adults & two teens. Only issue was that only 2 cars are allowed in the garage, other car had to park on the street. Would stay here again for sure!

We had stayed at this property several times in the past. The accommodations are great. The only and I mean only complaint is that parking spaces are very small and hard to accommodate a larger vehicle. Other than that it is a great property to stay in.

We stayed at Ocean Blue penthouse 2

It was perfect for us having 4 couples all staying together each having their own bedroom and bathroom. The view was breathtaking watching the sunrise and enjoying the breeze at night from the balcony. We had the choice of cooking at the condo or eating out each night with the restaurants within 15 minutes of most locations. We will plan on using this condo in the future!!

Great Property

This unit was amazing! It was spacious. The Penthouse floor is secure with a special passcode. We had the entire floor to ourselves since the other units were empty. The updates were great in the unit. The indoor pool area is usually a place we don’t frequent but we loved this one. They had the windows out so you got a nice breeze in there. We only have one small issue and that is the parking. The spots are very narrow. My mid size SUV barely fit in the spot. Just don’t plan on taking a large vehicle.

Excellent place to stay.

I absolutely loved the condo/Penthouse we stayed in. Everything was so nice and comfortable. I loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. The view was amazing from the balcony. There was one thing inside the condo that I disagree with. It said that it was equipped with a king bedroom, a queen bedroom, and two full bedrooms. I have to disagree on what is supposed to be a queen bedroom, in my opinion that bed is not a queen it was another full bed. Now for the parking situation. Oh my goodness where do I start. It’s horrific. If you drive a compact vehicle you will be fine. But, if you drive anything larger like an SUV, you’re going to have trouble. Lucky for us the parking lot overseer was super nice and helped us immensely. The condo/penthouse house itself is a wonderful place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone.

Penthouse Stay

This penthouse condo was fabulous. The fact that each bedroom had a bathroom was a plus. The beach was awesome. The only downfall is that one of the bedrooms could use a dresser for storage and all bedroom could have used more hangers.

Wonderful Penthouse with enough space for 3 families. Great location on quiet section of beach short drive to everything you could want to do. Ocean Blue’s 2 pools and lazy river provided plenty of fun for the non beach days! Love this property!!!!

Amazing!

We loved this place! It was beautifully decorated- felt so warm and homey. Amazing ocean view from balcony; we liked that you could also see the pool from balcony. Enjoyed spending time at the pool, hot tub, lazy river and of course the ocean which was right outside our door. Neither beach nor pool was ever too crowded (and we were there July 4th week!) The only criticisms I could give are that we all had at least one cold shower before we realized that the H/C labels on all the shower faucets are not accurate (we could only get hot water if we jiggled it around and found the sweet spot right in the middle.) Also, I would recommend bringing your own pillow as pretty much everyone in our group complained that the pillows were too hard (not me- I always bring my own pillow :) We were also unhappy with the towels- they were very small and thin- and only 1 kitchen towel and 1 kitchen rag were provided for the week. Would expect better than this from the penthouse suite. Only other complaint is that kitchen supplies were very limited- missing some essentials like measuring spoons and serving bowls. Although there were a few minor issues, overall this place is wonderful and we would definitely return!

Beautiful Condo...Parking needs improvement

We enjoyed our stay at Ocean Blue. It was a family trip and we had plenty of room for our families. The condo was clean and decorated beautifully with gorgeous views of the Alantic. The kids stayed busy with the indoor and outdoor pools along with the lazy river and hot tub. Elevator ran pretty fast and we never waited long. Our only complaint is the parking. Each unit is only allowed 2 parking passes. We knew this upon arrival and used visitor parking to unload and wait on the remaining family members to arrive. One of the men came up the elevator pounding on our door yelling and being extremely rude. We all moved our cars and I called to make Sandy aware of the situation. He later apologized, only to continuously harrass our party the remaining time during our trip. The property is beautiful, but the "maintenance " man is rude and made us very uncomfortable.
