Dolphin Watch

This is the second time we’ve stayed in this condo for our annual girls trip and we had a great time. The location is perfect, condo is clean, with everything needed for a long weekend girls trip.

Wonderful weekend at Tybee

This rental was very clean, and just right for space. We had 4 adults and 2 kids 10 and 11. We all enjoyed our stay. Loved the balcony.

Great location and everything you need in walking distance. Wonderful beach views from the outside deck. It was a little outdated, but perfect for a family get together.

Immediate family get away

Cleaning fees

The place was great, great location, great views. We would definitely rent this unit again, however it could use a really good cleaning, it seems to me with the cleaning fee and the cleaning required at checkout the place should be much cleaner. Some remodeling and furniture upgrades would be useful in the near future as well. The staff at Tybee Beach Vacation Rentals were great. There was a leak coming from the unit above us we called and they had someone there for repairs within 20 minutes.

Dolphin Watch Condo

This was our first family vacation in several years, and we had a great time! Loved the wrap-around porch, ocean view, easy beach access, and proximity to the pier and restaurants. The unit was comfortable and had everything we needed. Hope to be back again some day.

We loved the location of this condo. Easy walk to Pier and stores. The front porch is awesome. Beach very close. Outside shower. Condo was clean and comfortable.

Very Nice

Clean, nicely decorated, close to restaurants and shops. Nice view and had everything I needed to cook with. The only complaint I have (and it's a very minor one) is that this is the only place I've ever stayed that didn't provide basics such as coffee filters, s&p, sugar...I had to go buy those. Overall, a wonderful stay in Tybee Beach!

A True Tybee Gem

As a first-time visitor to the Savannah-Tybee Island area, we were very excited about our visit. While we initially debated whether to stay in Savannah or Tybee, we opted for the Dolphin Watch condo on Tybee Island. We loved the price, the location, and the layout. We figured we could venture back in Savannah a couple of times during our stay and it turned out that the drive back and forth is no big deal whatsoever. We got the first-rate location and relaxation of Tybee without compromising the history, beauty, and food of Savannah. We shared this unit with some great friends and we loved the comfort, set-up, and amenities. Being able to watch the sunrise each morning was special as well. Thank you again for having such a great property available to rent.

Great location

The location is great and it appears to be the same with what is listed on the website . We enjoyed the beach and it is very convenient almost about everywhere you want to go. However one of the TVs was not working ( we can’t even turn it on )and we contacted management. The maintenance guy came and tried to trouble shoot and unable to fix it( he was very nice and professional though).He said he will come come back later on and try it one more time . We do not know if he came back cause we went to the beach and stayed there for a bit . Tv was never fixed . Also the sofas were a bit outdated and dirty. The carpet was very DIRTY and it needs to be changed or need deep cleaning. I thought it is a bit disappointing for the price we payed to stay there. If they fix the things I mentioned above , I would give 5 star for this place.

Loved stay on Tybee Island

Condo was very clean and roomy. And GREAT being just steps to the beach and a very short walk to restaurants, ice cream and the pier. Rental agency (TVBR) was GREAT to deal with from beginning to end too. When we called about a problem with the cable service upon arrival, their agent came from across the island to check into it -- but she was standing next to me within 15 minutes. Unbelievable! Tybee Island is a nice size island so you can get to everything you want in short time. And there was enough to do to keep us busy for 2 weeks. Really, the only drawback for us was that the traffic at the corner this unit is on gets noisier than we expected on weekends. To be fair, it comes and goes and is probably nothing outside the warm/hot seasons. And after all, Tybee Island is a coastal resort town. So that's to be expected if you want to be right on an oceanfront street having beachfront restaurants/bars (and the beach parking lot). I should add that noise from the bars themselves was never a problem. They're far enough down the street that we didn't hear them. But if the traffic noise isn't a problem, you'll LOVE this location and unit.

Nice location, responsive management, all you will need

Although we had a few issues during our stay, management took care of them right away. Everything was as advertised. You have everything that you will need. When we arrived, we unfortunately had to contact management right away. Someone had evidently run into the garage door at some point and the trim was coming off. I was afraid the trim would fall on my car. When I notified management, I also mentioned a few other issues we noticed. They sent someone to repair those immediately (the water in the fridge door wasn't working and the ceiling fan was loud - small things, but if someone was coming out anyhow....). Some people may want to know early on that the garage is a small single car space. I parked my chevy traverse in fine as long as I folded my mirrors in, but if others are not used to pulling into tight spaces, it may be difficult and something they should know before booking. Don't be afraid to call the office with questions or issues - they were very nice people! The balcony is amazing. Beautiful sunrise every morning! The grocery store is just a few minutes down the road. We just took a walk around the block for souvenier shopping! Overall, a nice stay.

Needs help !

Beautiful view if we could have seen out of the windows. They were so dirty my husband went to the store and bought some windex and cleaned them himself. The furniture is just awful. The recliner is broken and gives you whiplash if you try to sit in it. The big chair is filthy and you can see visible dirt where people laid their head on it. The couch has definitely seen better days. The patio furniture is so old and rusty that the one sets legs are actually rusted off at he feet and the table is sitting tilted. Ceiling fans need replaced as well as the dining room one. The master bath needs a total redo. The toilet paper holder is rusted through and broken as well as the hooks on the wall. Even the toilet is old. The owners could have a beautiful place if they would put a little money back into it. The location is perfect and the deck could be to with some upgrades. Over all great view and location. Rent Tybee is wonderful and kept in contact with us. Have stayed on Tybee many, many times. Would rent from this company again just not this place. Not worth the money.

Tybee 2022

Great vacation and great area to beach and acces to restaurants. The unit was accommodating for our group. However,,,,,the bathroom floors were not clean. The deck furniture is rusted and falling apart. The furniture was very broken down and used. The toaster barely worked, the fan did not work, the vacuum we had to unclog and barely worked, the dishwasher left grime on the dishes so we did them ourselves which was fine. We bought a broom to keep it sand free as best we can. All in all could def. Use some updating and major cleaning. Curtain rods are pulling out of the wall as well. Loved Tybee Beach!!

Dolphin Watch Unit 1

Overall the place could be very nice. It wasn’t very clean when we got there and quite frankly the whole place could use a deep clean. I was afraid to touch the lamps in the master bedroom because there is so much dust inside the lampshade, bathtubs are dingy and the couch could be updated. The kitchen was nice and functional and the view is beautiful.

Tybee Trip

Great location just steps from the beach and a short walk to restaurants and souvenir shopping. Loved the porch and ocean view in the early morning. It was clean, well stocked unit.

Great location to beach, restaurants/bars, and stores

This property was definitely out dated, carpet had a film to it and stains on living room furniture. Upon arrival, leather chair in living room had food all over it. Already sand on the floor upon check in. Expensive stay for the quality. Also, please know this unit is on the 1st level. There were small children running track starting at 6am and throwing stuff off the balcony from the second floor. Beds were comfy, all kitchen needs are there, including a washer and dryer. If you’re looking for something quiet, this is not it. The public beach access is right here. If you’re looking for something close to beach, restaurants/bars- then this is perfect, minus cleanliness.
