Vår vackra bergstäder (Black Bear Unit 70) ligger mittemot Durango Mountain Resort (Purgatory) och är en perfekt bas för din semester oavsett årstid.

Stugan har 3 sovrum och 2. 5 badrum. Gourmet köket med granit diskar och rostfria vitvaror innehåller en bar med sittplatser och öppnar till de viktigaste bostadsutrymmen och matplats, vilket ger dig gott om utrymme att koppla av.

Njut av fantastisk utsikt över ingenjörsberget och skidbackarna från antingen balkong eller ta en kort promenad till det vackra samhällets lusthus med plats för uteservering samt en eldplats och utomhusbbq-område.

Hemmet ligger nära Purgatory Flats spårhuvud, en av de finaste och mest natursköna vandringar i området samt en lager damm för fiske.

Wonderful place to stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Awesome stay overall. Black Bear is the best with the door to door shuttle service to the ski area (right across the street). The photos are a great representation of the home which was clean, comfortable and attractive. The TVs were a bit difficult to figure out how to use so instructions there would have been helpful. Overall we were very happy with our stay and look forward to returning.

Convenient for Skiers

We enjoyed our stay in this townhouse. it was well-stocked - including little boxes of items in each bathroom and kitchen - which I thought was a very nice bonus. We would recommend for skiers since the shuttle comes to your front door and brings you to the ski resort's front door!

This place hit all the right notes. Ample room to gather and eat, and beds for everyone. Shuttle to the mountain was easy to request and very handy. Fun week. Will definitely stay here again.

Comfortable

Road noise was bothersome. Without a/c and during a heat wave, windows had to stay open. The house was well appointed with basic cooking needs and a washer/dryer. It was nice to be able to use the garage for our car. Comfortable furnishings with 2 king rooms and one bunk room. Nothing fancy but just fine.

We will be back!

This is our second year at Black Bear, last year we rented the "biggest" townhouse in the community and we did not want to rent it again. Bigger is not always better. We were very pleased with this year's townhouse. It was very well equipped and clean. The two king sized beds were very comfortable, which was a nice change from last year's experience. The on-demand shuttle is wonderful for the skiers in the group, and it was also appreciated by our non skiers because it was easy for them to join us for lunch. Other reviews complained about the carpet. It is true is looks a bit worn, but then it is a rental property and unfortunately people are not always as responsible as they should be, so there are stains. That did not bother us at all. My greatest compliment is I will be renting this townhouse next season.

Great location!

Super convenient location! Love the Black Bear townhomes! Maintenance Issues -with this unit - master bather toilet flusher broken, so could not use (turned off water to stop running) kitchen trash can sensor not working so had to lift lid with hand all the time (gross) both these reported to management company on arrival but not fixed in the 5 days. No internet working even after up plugging - to restart. The name and passwords not listed for the house! Did not realize till the 2nd day - we just used our hotspots for laptop access!! Nothing that we would not stay again, as we were gone skiing all day and eating in Durango at night :)

Great Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location is fantastic. Cons- not very clean, carpet needs cleaning, dishes were not clean and lots were chipped. Couch cushions were not vacuumed, nor was the underneath of chairs, sofa and beds. The water is very hard. The internet was not working which was frustrating when trying to figure out plans.

Beautiful area

This was a beautiful area. The house itself was clean accept for an unflushed toilet and we didn't trust any of the dishes after we found a bowl with food on it. But other than that the rooms and bathrooms were clean and well decorated. The neighborhood was really cute and there is a cute lake down the road. Lots of great hiking trails nearby. We never did figure out where the hot tub and pool were. I thought they were nearby because of the pictures but we never found them. We never asked though. We had our dog with us and It worked out really good. There was a nice long tiled hallway in the entryway that was a great place for a bed and food for him.

Great Stay - Great Locations

Trails are within walking distance and directly across from Purgatory. Lodging staff was great for use of hot tub and pool. During our stay the coffee maker quit working (it happens) and the home could definitely use new frying pans which management has indicated they will handle. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

Great place - poor cleaning

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First off, the place and location were great. However there are a couple things that were completely unacceptable, especially at this price point. The first one is that the house was not at all properly cleaned before we arrived. Either you guys know about this and are cutting corners, or your cleaning people are screwing you over. We had to wash the master sheets as they were completely dirty and unwashed. Half of the towels were dirty and unwashed so we also had to wash those, and multiple dishes were dirty. As I’m sure you can imagine this was not a fun chore to do on the first couple days of vacation. Between the nightly rate and cleaning fee of this place, this was unacceptable. The second is a little simpler - the kitchen faucet. It’s broken and would only turn off when messed with for 5 minutes. Spend the $150 on a new faucet and save guests the hassle and frustration. Other than these two things, the place was incredible and I’d definitely come back assuming a clean house and working faucet.

The house was very clean and well prepared for our stay. I felt like we could contact the property manager easily, in case we needed anything (not that we did). It is a bit of a ways from Durango, but right across the street from Purgatory. It worked well for our family vacation.

Excellent location, accommodations for ski trip

We stayed four nights. The location is awesome, though it is about .8 mile to the base of the beginner area, so not walkable with young children carrying skis. The on-demand shuttle was prompt (within 10 minutes of calling), picked up right at the front door, and dropped off at whichever location at Purgatory Resort we wanted, which was awesome for the grandmother and young kids who wanted abbreviated ski days. Nice to know things for future guests: the garage was deep enough for us to park our Honda Pilot with hitch carrier attached. There is a rack on the wall for 4 sets of skis, and plenty of space for our boots to stay in the garage to dry out after skiing. The kitchen has everything you would need, except for sandwich bags, which would have been nice for packing our lunches. Coffee filters are provided for the coffee maker. There are foam pads for the fold-out sleepers, and plenty of sheets and towels. Just a tip for travelers, or a suggestion for the owner: One thing we brought ourselves, which might be a helpful addition for the owner to provide, were over-the-door hooks. Since we have skied with kids before and know that their outerwear tends to get scattered when they take it off after skiing, we brought our own hooks to keep their gear organized and hung right in the entryway/exit to the garage. There is a coat rack in the entryway, but we liked having additional room to hang our kids' ski clothing. The only issue we had was that the washer and dryer were not working, but an email to the owner resolved this quickly and we were able to use the washer and dryer the next day.

Fantastic January at Purgatory

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family of 6 stayed for 3 weeks at 70 Black Bear and had a wonderful time. The townhouse was comfortable and well stocked. Upon arrival we did need a few items that were missing and Premier Vacation Rentals was incredibly helpful and promptly got us the items. They are probably the best management company that I’ve experienced. While the house supposedly can sleep 7, in reality it really sleeps 4 or 5 in bedrooms and another person in the living room on the pull out sofa. The 3rd bedroom is tiny and has room for only a single pull out sofa bed. There were nice thick, comfy mattress toppers for the pull out beds. 70 Black Bear is right across the street from Purgatory. It’s more of a very busy road than street so we used the shuttle service to and from the slopes. We loved the convenience of door to door service. Also. we found a trail head nearby for the San Juan National Forest. Also, try the food truck at The Nugget. They have great sliders! I would recommend this townhouse and definitely Premier Vacation Rentals!

Nice to pull into the garage to unload, plus keeping truck out of the weather was nice too.The downstairs, our main hangout, and master bathroom were very comfortable. Master TV area needs remodeling for larger tv. Twin beds in 2nd bedroom could be issue for adults, 3rd “bed” room is a small study with a small pull out. I walked across hwy 550 easily with my gear with no problem to ski lift. Great area to walk dog and awesome trail head down the street! We planned to cook and eat at the condo, luckily, due to resort area closing when lifts shut down. Think that is Covid related. A few restaurants 3-4 miles down hwy, for nearest market your driving to Durango. As for Purgatory Ski resort, I don’t know if this is the Covid affect, but I found it to be dull. I really struggled to put my finger on this felling. Nice open runs, no lift lines, blessed with good snow, but I just felt some lack of connection? Is it Covid? Is it the resort name? Is it me? Anyway, nice roomy, quiet condo in good out door setting.

Awesome stay in the mountains!

My boyfriend, dog, and I enjoyed our stay in Durango at this awesome ski condo. We were there for three weeks and were able to walk our dog around the pond every morning and hike or mountain bike every evening. Would love to return one day!

Great week in Durnango

Beautiful location, tons to do. The third “bedroom” is not really a bedroom at all but the pull out couch downstairs worked out fine to accommodate is. Otherwise a fantastic condo.
