Vårt hus är helt fantastiskt. Så upphetsad, installerade vi bara SOLARVÄRME för vår pool. Utsikten över sjön är hisnande och från väst har du de vackra solnedgångarna över Stilla havet. Vi är centralt beläget i San Diego County så det är lätt tillgång till alla de stora destinationerna. Disneyland kan vara dagsutflykt ca 1 timme 20 minuter bort. Världsberömda Safari Park ligger 15 minuter bort. Du kan nå stränderna på havet på 20 minuter. Vi är nära staden San Diego men ändå väldigt avskild och kan behålla vår integritet. Huset är fantastiskt och har ett gourmetkök med mycket utrymme och en mycket stor ö för att samla vänner med vin och matlagning. Utomhus finns en stor gasgrill bredvid spa och saltvatten infinity pool som är 8 meter djup. Nu är det solat uppvärmt !!!!

Not at complaint there are allot of stairs on this 2 story home. If you have children under 5 bring a gate for the stairs. You’ll love this place

Highly recommend

This home is made for gathering. My family experienced a memorable vacation largely due to this home. The owners are fabulous and while they stay on the property, near the house, they offer a great deal of privacy and only interact if we initiated it. Room for improvement; ants and the hot tub. Lots of ants in the house, we even brought some home with us as they found their way to our bags. The hot tub was not hot, likely due to a power surge and we didn’t reset it in time to enjoy it while we were there, but I’m sure it works fine. Lastly we would return and stay in this house. We loved it and highly recommend.

Peaceful retreat

Our family of 2 adults and 2 kids stayed here in Aug 2020 during the heatwave. It's a great hideaway and change of scenery. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool, playing tennis and pool games. The view is amazing. There are restaurants and a Target about 15 minutes away.

Family trip

Was in California for a family trip and the house was exactly what we were hoping for. Homeowners were there to greet us and the house was very clean. Views from the pool were amazing and it was a 20 minute drive to the beach with stores close by. Would definitley stay here again.

Best staycation for our family!

We booked this trip after months of quarantining at home in Los Angeles. Our 3 kids were so excited to get away - and this was the perfect home for our staycation! First, Gale and Michel are just the perfect hosts. The house was very clean and comfortable. They greeted us warmly and walked us through everything. The experience was very warm and personable. Then, the pool and spa were great amenities to have. It's literally where we were all week. The kids played non-stop. They even played on the tennis court/basketball court. We were probably the most active than we have been in months! We grilled everyday and had wine overlooking the mountains. It was truly a gorgeous view and relaxing break for us. 100% we would love to come back and stay here again.

Breath taking views

Pictures don’t do justice for how amazing this property is. You’re fairly secluded from everything and it’s very quiet. The house is beautiful and the views are something you’d see in a movie. The owners are also fantastic from the moment you set foot in their home to the min you leave. Beaches are about 15 min away but good luck actually wanting to leave. Everything you’d ever need is sitting on this property. The court has basketballs and tennis equipment, there is also a pool table downstairs. Plenty of beds and baths for the whole family too. Can’t wait to book again!

Great place to stay!!

We had an amazing time at the property. Gale and Michele are great at communicating. The house has everything that we needed and more. The pictures do not really justify the stunning views. I would highly recommended this property to anyone who is looking for a relaxing time and dont mind driving to sandiego.

Most beautiful view of ANYWHERE we've ever stayed

An amazing view. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We got to see the moon rise above the mountains. Just amazing. Very clean property. Check-in was a breeze.

Awesome views. Great location!

This property is fantastic and the owners were very courteous. We loved the pool and spa. We spent almost every day out there. Property was clean and well kept. Beautiful open space inside with absolutely gorgeous views. Would highly recommend and would love to return.

Beautiful views, beautiful home

Our family of 6 adults thoroughly enjoyed our Thanksgiving weekend at Gale & Michel’s home. The home is very open with amazing views of the area. The views are better than the pictures on line. Plenty of space in the kitchen, which has two ovens—very helpful for creating our Thanksgiving dinner. All cooking utensils that we needed were available. The home was very clean. A note for small children staying in the house - there are small steps from kitchen to dining area to living room (they are illuminated at night). Beds were comfy. We enjoyed the hot tub and tennis court. The pool was too chilly for use. The home is 25-30 minutes from the nearest beach, but there are restaurants, grocery & other stores about 10-15 min away. Overall we really enjoyed the home and would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home with breathtaking views!

We had an amazing stay at this home and the highlight of our stay was the unbelievable view of the valley from the infinity pool. We also appreciated the really cool art that adorned the walls of this beautiful home. In the mornings, we were happy to see dozens of hummingbirds flying around the bid feeders. There was a sense of peace and calm and being one with nature. The garden was really interesting with huge succulents and flowering bougainvillea. The kids had a blast in the pool and jacuzzi! We definitely recommend this home!!

Amazing property and unbelievable views

The view is spectacular and the house is very well equipped and amazing. Michel and Gale were wonderful hosts and we enjoyed every moment. I just wish the pool was slightly warmer (it was too cold to jump in at any point). A few other reviewers also seemed to have faced similar issues.

Nice, Home, Spectacular Views...Wish everything worked!

If you're looking for wonderful views and a quiet location, this house has both. The house is spacious, and light with balconies surrounding it. The accommodations are very nice but the owners need to step on a few fronts. The spa was not usable for 75% of our stay as the temperature never got higher than 100 deg F, and since the temperature outdoors was in the high 40's F, it cooled to body temperature or below once the cover was off. Not comfortable for hanging out for long periods. Owner was responsive but until our last day was unable to get the spa to a comfortable (104) temperature for hanging out. Interior furnishings are nice but there is only a small dining table for 4 and 4 chairs so if you have 6 people (as the house is designed for…3 bedrooms) it’s not conducive to a comfortable meal. The bedrooms are nice but there was no space in the MBR for our clothes, so we were living out of suitcases for 4 days. In addition, there are no rugs on the MBR floor, so we had to take off shoes and tiptoe to avoid making noise for the people staying in the bedroom below us on the lower level. For the cleaning fee assessed, the floors and pots & pans could have been cleaner. The house is central for hiking (but not for San Diego proper) and that view makes up for a lot (but not everything - so definitely question the owners about the working condition of the Spa, BBQ, etc.)

Gorgeous!

The view from this home is phenomenal and the house is truly lovely and functional too. You feel like you're in the middle of nowhere but you are actually 20 minutes from markets and restaurants and the beach. The only two things to know before booking is that the pool is not heated, and that the owners stay on the property in their RV when renting. We almost never saw them, but if you are wanting total privacy, this should be considered.
