Good location close to restaurants, shops and activities. Out door area disappointing, very dirty lots of cobwebs and no bbq. As the balcony is the only outdoor space available, could be made more functional. Access awkward, but overall quite comfortable.

Beautiful apartment and location

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place was lovely. Unfortunately, I hadn’t realised how much we rely on wifi these days. There was no wifi at this location. I would not stay in a place without it again.

Great location

Apartment was spacious and comfortable for 6 adults. Perfect location close to everything one needs, cafes restaurants and supermarkets and view from balcony was nice and quite even though it was facing main road. Kitchen had everything which was fantastic. Checking in was a little confusing, we were not told how to access the parking or the apartment. Some instructions with the key would have been helpful. Overall apartment was great, plenty of space had everything we needed. Loved Victor Harbour.

Our Stay

The property was in an excellent location overlooking the water and close to everything. The booking process and interaction with the real estate people was easy. Unfortunately, both balconies hadn't been cleaned and were unusable, there was no broom for sweeping. It advertised sleeps 8 but the futon bed needed a better mattress to be comfortable. There was every appliance needed and they all worked, the linen was provided and was clean. Overall the stay was lovely and I think 6 people max would be a better fit. We would stay again.

Nurses geeting away for a short break

Perfect location, so close to everything and a beautiful view. Lovely sized apartment. On the negitive, the balcony was filthy, black spider webbs everywhere, the blacony table is very unstable. Didhwashing liquid was so watered down is was like water and the sofa bed is not fit to sleep on. Really really hard like sleeping on a wooden door, carpet needs at a minimuma good clean if not replaced and lacking kitchen stuff like salad bowls and jugs. Car park instructions were no layed out. But all in all over looking all that was a fun stay. Just needs some TLC.

Comfortable penthouse apartment for group or family

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good 3 or 4 BR penthouse with secure underground parking and secure access. 2 minute walk to restaurants and pubs. Main bedroom with ensuite with walk in shower and 1 other bathroom with shower over bath (note, it is quite a high step up/down into the bath so may be difficult for elderly guests). There is also a study/4th bedroom off teh lounge area with frosted glass sliding door and sofa bed - it's small but would work. A linen service is provided but you have to make your own beds - plenty of sheets and towels for every bed. QS beds in the 3 bedrooms. Everything else comfortable and clean. No wifi provided. Would stay again. Very helpful real estate agent who responded quickly with answers to all questions.

Nice apartment, but cleanliness an issue

The location of this property is ideal as a visitor to the town, and the design of the building is well done and well suited to its immediate surroundings. Love the cross flow, and the view from either side. Although listed as for 8 people/4 beds, there are only 3 proper bedrooms, with queen beds in each. The remaining would be a sofa bed so not ideal. Also, the 3rd bedroom has no windows/natural light so isnt as good as the other two. The interior of the apartment could do with a decent clean, with dust on ventilation, the shower jets needing a clean and partially blocked, and various spots on the carpet. Tried the outdoor setting but there was also a decent layer of black dirt over all of that, so had to clean it first. While it is listed in the terms, it would be worthwhile to actually highlight that consumables like shampoo, soap and toilet paper need to be supplied, so that guests are well prepared. One other thing: despite not being in the listing and then checking with the agency to confirm and being told "if it's not in the listing, it doesn't have it" - it actually DOES have 2 hair dryers.

Great location let down by poor maintenance

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place has a great location and good under apartment parking. Secure and private. What lets this place down is the quality of cleanliness and presentation. We were disappointed at how dirty the place was on arrival. The dishwasher did not work (opened it and it stank) and the dish washing liquid was not enough for the 5 nights we were there. We purchased dish washing liquid plus dish cloths plus spray and wipe to clean the dishes (they were greasy on arrival) and clean the benches. Toilet in ensuite was soiled from previous use/ guest. Had to clean that as well. Balconies offered great views but were so dirty on the floors and tables / chairs. I spent a couple of hours vacuuming and mopping these to clean. Not to mention the spider webs covering all corners on the balconies and balastrades that didn’t take long to remove but really.... Should I need to. The sun chair on the balcony was totally ripped and shouldn’t be there. The tables and chairs on the balconies all wobbled and felt like they were going to fail. We had to purchase a double air bed mattress and pump as the fold out lounge / bed failed and could not be used. The support structure is broken and can not be used as a Bed. The dead pot plants around the place kind of set the scene on how well the apartment was presented. Previous guests items left in drawers and under bed was also disappointing. I read prior views that carpet was dirty, but didn’t expect the soiling. As well as the carpet being a gaping hole at door of main bathroom causing a major trip hazard. We purchased tape to hold this down whilst we stayed. The electricity/ lights in the bathrooms were annoying as the fuse kept tripping when using both bathrooms. What was disappointing is we called the agent when checking in to advise of the faulty dishwasher, dirty carpets, dirty balconies and ripped carpet. To be advised someone would call us back. NO ONE CALLED.

Apartment clean & tidy. having linen supplied was a bonus being able to hire a cot would have been very useful. Unfortunately our vehicle did not fit in the carpark making unloading & loading quite difficult. Our first stop was also to the supermarket for dish cloths & soap also it would have been nice to have a little bit of toilet paper in the bathrooms. Overall a wonderful getaway with geat amenities and perfect location. would definately stay again.

This apartment is getting a little tired, threads hanging off the edge of carpets, dirty windows and balconies. Some of the furniture is gettin a bit old too eg patio and broken drawers in bed side tables. There was no bbq. The property also needs to be connected to broadband.Notwithstanding this we had a great break and enjoyed Victor Harbor immensely.

Great location and family friendly

The location is perfect for getting to the local Victor attractions and access was very easy. There are 2 balconies, a front overlooking the reserve and the ocean and a rear that overlooks the steam ranger station. Whilst the balconies weren’t huge in number 25 they were spacious enough. The unit could do with a refresh but that is being a little picky. It was comfortable and we had a really good stay.

I would recommend to check all plates as a lot had chips and also outdoor areas werent wipped over, had cobwebs and would recommend the outdoor lounge at the back to have a new cushion on it or replaced. But besides that we loved our stay and hope to return again another time, perfect to watch the trains which is what our son loved.

The property was in a fabulous position to walk around Victor Harbor, beautiful views of the ocean through the Norfolk Pine trees. An extra set of keys would've been helpful ...We didn't mind making our beds, however the mattress protectors do need to be checked prior to the arrival of new guests....

Weekend stay

Reviewer Comments: The location and apartment itself was stunning but the general maintenance lets the place down. we were missing tea towels, Bathmats, Discloth and handtowels on arrival. Both balconies were filthy and looked like the ground and outdoor furniture hadn't been cleaned for months. Large Door to balcony was broken so was hard to open, bearing in fridge needs to be replaced as it squeaked all weekend when you were trying to sleep and fan in main bathroom broken so no ventilation.

Post COVID Family Getaway

We spent a beautiful 2 nights stay in this beautiful property with our family after spending 10 days away from them the previous weeks in isolation. Thoroughly enjoyed it and the property was perfect. We will be back if you'll have us. Cheers Angelo Mignone and Family
