Byggdes 1935 ligger det historiska strandhuset vid 907 Lovell bekvämt beläget nära mitten av stranden. Bara 2 korta block, som lätt går eller biked, och dina tår kommer att ligga i sanden. Klicka på karta länk och det kommer att visa dig precis hur nära stranden.

Det finns en skärm veranda övervåningen och nere och båda är perfekta att sitta och varva ner eller äta efter en rolig dag på stranden.

Det finns 3 sovrum på övervåningen, 2 med queen size-sängar och 1 med full storlek. Vardagsrummet är utrustat med kabel-TV, gott om utrymme att koppla av. Rummen är uppbyggda av South Carolina-tall från golv till tak med ballaststenskorsten som ger en extra maritim touch.

Good place to stay

Upstairs is wonderful with the original wood floors, ceilings and walls. Downstairs isn’t as nice but clean. Carpet needs to replaced and needs cabinets in kitchen. It was a last notice reservation since our other house was cancelled by the owner 2 weeks before our vacation. It is dog friendly which is why we booked at last minute. Furniture downstairs need to updated and/or replaced though.

Not a place for groups or families

When we arrived we were very disappointed to see the condition of the house. The smell of moth balls was so overwhelming I had to use my rescue inhaler. The kitchen had multiple large bugs. The kids arrived the next day and it continued to get worse. One bedroom had a ball of hair, one closet had insulation falling down. There was a step up from the laundry to the kitchen and I just about killed myself the first walk thru. I communicated that day to the manager and never received an email or call. This was our first trip and we will not be back. The beach was nice but so disappointed.

Rodent ….

Bout 30 minutes after arriving my daughter spotted a RAT running from the room, then I checked and closet and saw poison and mouse traps . I don’t see anything else from that moment on but on the second night I heard something running across the attic … Other than the the experience was a good one

Clean but overpriced

The property looked exactly as advertised, and it was very clean. However, due to the age of the home, bathrooms and kitchen; the rental fee should have been reduced.

Thanksgiving family holiday

When we arrived at the house it was as described. The upstairs was beautiful and I wished that the downstairs was the same but it wasn’t. You could tell the downstairs has taken in all the wear and tear of this older beach home, but it was perfect for our Thanksgiving family holiday. The downstairs toilet was stopped up when we arrived which was somewhat inconvenient as the only other working one was upstairs. I called it in and the rental agency had someone out the next day and fixed it. The overall experience was good, this was the first time in a while that all of our family from out of state could be together at the same time.

Family trip

The house was decent but not ideal for our family vacation. The beds were small and uncomfortable. It wasn’t very convenient the kitchen and main living rooms are down stairs, but the only way to get from up to down is outside steps.
