This two-story five bedroom airy cottage is complete with a wrap around porch, private parking and just steps away from beach access.

Relax and enjoy the fresh air on the screened-in wrap around porch. The porch sitting area features a large table, and an ample amount of seating. Entering into the home, you are immediately greeted by oakwood paneling that ties this coastal cottage together from room to room. You will enjoy the crisp main living space with updated furnishings.

Stepping into the kitchen off of the main living space you will find the kitchen has kept some of its most charming features from the original design with new modern amenities. The kitchen comes fully equipped with all with dishes, glasses, and serving ware.

All 5 bedrooms occupy the rest of the home, on the second and first floor. The first bedroom has a King size bed, and plenty of space to store your belongings. Down the hall, guests will appreciate having a full-size bathroom available to them. On the opposite side of the home, you will find two bedrooms with a jack and jill bathroom. One bedroom offers two twin size beds, and the other a Queen size bed.

Making your way outside and downstairs, you will find the fourth and fifth bedrooms. Each of these bedrooms are fit with a half bathroom, and their own secured entrance. The fourth bedroom offers a King size bed, while the fifth offers two twin beds. Also located on this level you will find two outdoor private showers.

Tybee Island is a bustling spot for vacationers and locals alike, with several dining and shopping attractions. We recommend starting your day with an omelette from The Breakfast Club. For lunch, wash down a plate of fish and chips with an ice cold mojito at The Deck Bar. Before leaving town, be sure to grab a few momentos to remember the island at Seaside Sisters. You'll find a collection of tiny beach shops nearby.

This was a perfect getaway for 2 senior citizens, 6 adults, 1 child and 2 dogs who can’t be in the same room at the same time. The bedrooms were private, living room was cozy and the kitchen had everything needed (it is small). There is a breezy upstairs screened in porch that worked when we all ate together. Beach access was a 10 minute walk and not crowded at all.

The main thing was check-in. Lockbox at back of house and not at front where should be. Poorly lit and unstable walkway to back of house. If arrive at night or during inclement weather would be very irritating. Otherwise great house.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property was delightful! It has a beautiful large porch where we hung out a lot, pluse plenty of bedroom and bathroom space for our group. NOTE: This house was made in the 1930s and thus has some quirks. The kitchen was small but we cooked full dinners there with no problem. The way the house is arranged with two bedrooms downstairs with their own doors to the outside was interesting, and can be considered a bonus if people want a little more privacy away from the main group at night. We loved the quick walk to the beach or the store. The living room was comfy and had plenty of space for all of us to hang out, watch TV or chat. A couple small things could use touch-up here and there, but when fighting sand and high humidity at a beach all the time, it's understandable if some doors are a bit sticky or other small things like that. We had some questions about the trash, and the management team responded professionally and in a timely manner. Overall, this house contributed positively to our enjoyment of our trip. Would go again!

Beachy Vibe

Our group of five friends enjoyed the warmth and charm of the vintage features at Wicker Cottage. The wrap around screened porch was where we spent most of our time when we weren’t at the beach. It was amazing and spacious with peaceful views and multiple seating options. Highly recommend this lovely cottage. Management was easy to reach and always helpful and accommodating!

Great location, easy walk to beach and grocery. Quiet street. Enjoyed the screened in porch. Very clean (no bugs or cobwebs anywhere). Checkout process was simple.

House had nice bones, but the host does very little to make it welcoming to guests. There were the bare minimum for soap and towels provided. It would have been nice to have had beach towels, chairs, or umbrellas available. With a little effort it could be a charming beach rental.

Quaint cottage

Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Tybee Island. The Wicker cottage was as pictured. Enjoyed spending time in the house although it's an old enough home that I feel some updates beyond aesthetics may need to be done to meet the rental price, i.e., lighting, wiring, insulation. I would recommend the house but at a lower rental price.

beautiful, spacious beach house

This house was great! We used it for a couples vacation, but it would be perfect for a family stay as well. This house was perfectly located. The beach, just a block away, was not at all crowded. The grocery store is conveniently close by, and the center of town is less than a mile walk. The only drawbacks were that the bedroom doors didn't close, so we just propped bags to keep them shut and the wifi never really worked. This wasn't that big of a deal though, because there is a smart TV that works really well.

Wicker Cottage gets the job done

Visited Wicker Cottage with six friends for a boys weekend on Tybee. The listing made the house seem a little bigger than it is but overall the house got the job done. The porch provides a great area to hang out when not at the beach. Kitchen is tight so we did not cook at the house a ton. Location left a little to be desired. The walk to the beach is about 10 minutes and the access is not super convenient to the house. Also, due to golf cart laws on Tybee this rental does not offer golf cart access. Pretty centrally located on the island otherwise. Overall Wicker Cottage was servicable for our trip and gave everyone in the group a bed to sleep in.

Me and my wife and out 3 college student and their 3 college friends all enjoyed our time at Wicker Cottage. The very airy and awesome screened in porch with the picnic table gave us all time to enjoy being together for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We only went out to eat twice while we were on the island. Of course, when we had a glitch, the staff at Lucky Savannah were very quick and gracious to fix any problem we encountered. Overall, me and my wife highly recommend Wicker Cottage for your family stays! It’s convenient to everything on the island!

Reviewer Comments: Beginning with AC not working properly, was hot, but maintenance came out quickly and supplied us with AC units in our rooms. Kitchen really small for 10 ppl but I knew that before. Downstairs rooms AC working great, loved the porch. Could have had some beach accommodations like chairs, umbrellas etc so wouldn't have to bring so much. Overall a very good place, easy access to beach and nice accommodations

I called and someone stayed on the phone with me until found. The fitted sheet did not fit our bed, it was much too small and popped off repeatedly. Overall, our stay was still enjoyable. The deck was wonderful. We enjoyed many a morning coffee with the ocean breeze.

Charming, cozy cottage

We loved spending a long weekend at Wicker Cottage. How nice that the owners have maintained the original feel of this rambling, old beach home while still making it feel clean and updated. The kitchen is small, but functional and well stocked. We only used the upstairs bedrooms as we didnt need the lower level rooms. Only complaint is the lighting. Several lamps weren't working properly and it took us all weekend to find the switch for the kitchen overheard light (it's hidden to the side of the microwave.) Thanks for sharing your home with us! (p.s. had an amazing dinner at Salt Island...hIghly recommend!)

House was dirty

PLEASE READ!! We did not find this property in the condition that other reviews portrayed. The outdoor showers had black mold growing on the walls. The bedrooms downstairs are not connected to the main floor by interior stairs, a very important detail if traveling with small children. Also, both of the downstairs bedrooms had an odor, were dark, no overhead lighting, and most lamps didn’t work. Upstairs we found cobwebs in the bedrooms and dust on the kitchen walls. None of the interior doors had locks and most wouldn’t even shut. The main bathroom shower curtain was tied together on each end because all the holes for the hooks were torn. The hot water knob on the shower falls off. Once it hit my one year old grandson while he was taking a bath. The bathroom at the front of the house sometimes had water while other times nothing came out of the sinks or shower. The kitchen didn’t have utensils for 10 people to eat at the same time. The porch was so dirty we couldn’t let the baby down. Several blinds broken.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time, however the house was not as described in the pictures, there were 3-4 blinds broken, the porch floor was very dirty, the furniture was different from the pictures, the house was OLD and very dated, the kitchen was very very small, more than one person was crowded. It took a long time for the house to cool down, the temp got up to 76 every day about 3 and cooled down about midnight.

Family Beach Trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at Wicker Cottage! Plenty of room for 3 adults and 6 boys (ages 2, 4, 9 and 3 15 yr olds). The beach is maybe a 5 min walk away. Not over crowded and family friendly. We had a wagon to haul our beach chairs and pop up tent so the walk was not bad at all. We loved the screened porch and the outdoor showers to rinse the sand off. The kitchen is on the small side, but I don't like anyone in the kitchen when I cook anyways. It has pots/pans/utensils you can use to cook/bake and a charcoal grill. The house was clean and you can tell it is well cared for. We will definitely book this cottage again in the future!
