Detta charmiga hem sover sex till åtta personer bekvämt (Observera: 6 vuxna max.) I tre sovrum, plus ett loft (för barn i åldern 6-10), och har alla bekvämligheter för en minnesvärd semester. Kuddar, filtar och täcken finns. (Behöver ta med egna lakan och handdukar.) Fullt utrustat kök, stor färg-TV med DVD / videobandspelare och charter-tv och internet.

Förutom centralvärme finns den extra charm som en fristående, vedeldad öppen spis. Det stora däck med grill ger en vacker privat miljö för middagar eller solning. Det finns en härlig filtrerad utsikt, genom de många höga tallarna, av sjön med bergsbakgrunden bortom. (Ser inte ut på andra hem.)

Mycket privat miljö på ett stort hörnparti, med en stor lekplats, inklusive badmintonbana och hästsko pit. Den långa uppfarten är tillräckligt stor för två bilar och en båt / släp.

Vi hyr vårt hem för veckovisa / helgerna vistelser och erbjuder inte 3-4 månaders hyresavtal.

Great old-school Tahoe cabin!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this cabin for 5 nights in April'25. The property was clean, well equipped, and in good working order, as described. Ample sleeping accommodations, though you must bring your own linens and towels. To my knowledge, the neighborhood does not have its own HOA beach across the highway on the lake side; however many nice (at least during the off season) public beaches are within a few miles. The owner was very pleasant to deal with and responsive.

Great accommodations, beware of ice

This was a perfect house for a weekend getaway with my partner. The house is up a hill that was not completely plowed and we did have considerable trouble without four wheel drive.

Great find in Tahoe

Overall very happy with our stay. Just a few minor quirks... no linens and no washing facilities (but that's clearly stated upfront); no A/C (fortunately it's usually not needed since we're usually out and about); The ladder to the loft is painful to step on since the steps on the ladder aren't flat but circular. The kids decided not to sleep there anyway because they were afraid of the spiders on the ceiling. There's also a lamp up there, but I couldn't locate any socket to plug it in. That said, these are minor things. Check-in was a breeze, and the owners were very communicative. Kitchen was adequately stocked with dishware and spices. Neighborhood was peaceful, with lots of trees, and well-located for all the North Lake Tahoe activities. It's the first time we've stayed on the North side of the lake, and there's a lot to do nearby. Four days was not enough. For the price, I would definitely stay here again.

Outstanding

Extremely comfortable and relaxing cabin in a beautiful, quiet and safe neighborhood. The owners very attentive. One of the few times on a trip that I truly did not want to leave. Morning coffee on the back deck was a highlight for me each day. I was torn to stay at the cabin and relax vs. tour the beautiful town of Tahoe. We will be back!! Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Phillips for sharing your wonderful cabin

Cozy Cabin

Our family of 5 adults and two children under the age of 4 spent an entire week at this cabin. It is in a great location for evening walks and is in a very quiet location for enjoying the back deck. Our grandson rode his strider bike up and down the streets as we enjoyed walking our dogs. We only used the three bedrooms on the main floor, but the loft looked to be very roomy with two twin beds. There were plenty of kitchen items to assist us in creating a lot of our meals at home. There is a large tv in the living room with a couch to fit most of us. The dining table sits six comfortably with additional chairs available. We would stay here again in the future.

Tahoe Family Getaway

One level older home with everything you need - 2 baths were a plus for us five. Comfortable family area with good TV, plenty space at the dining table. Nice, updated kitchen, wood fireplace, and large deck out back if it's warm enough, ha. No neighbors on top or close beside you. Just don't forget to note you need to bring your own sheets, towels, etc, and there is no laundry facility on the premises. Easy to find, plenty parking for couple vehicles. Not a place to walk or ride a bike without a steep roadway on a hillside, but a short drive to any store, restaurant, and several public beaches. We enjoyed our stay.

Lake Tahoe mini stay

We had a great time. We only had a couple days while visiting family. It's been over 30 years since I spent a winter at Tahoe. The neighborhood we stayed in was quiet. The roads are steep and narrow, but were clear, so access was easy. The cabin was clean and worked well for us.

Cozy Rustic Cabin

Escape from the City

This location provided a perfect escape from city life for my extended family: 4 generations, one cozy cabin, snow, games, baking cupcakes in the kitchen, and lounging by the fireplace.

Wonderful stay

We really loved staying at bud and betsy's house in Carnelian Bay. The neighborhood is lovely and super quiet, very close to the lake and the main road which takes you around the lake. Literally everything you need is within ten minutes. We explored all day and then enjoyed evenings by the fire. Our dogs had a great time running in the yard. The house had everything we needed- and we would have stayed longer if we could! Definitely will be back. Thanks so much.

Clean comfortable cabin

Had a great time. The cabin was the cleanest cabin we had ever rented. Very good location between Tahoe City and Kings Beach. Nice restaurants in the area and shopping. Would stay there again. Only complaint was an out dated tv.

Summer Vacation

I had a great stay at the vacation home. Bud communicated with me beforehand to give more detailed information which was nice. It was very clean and orderly when I got there, and everything was easy to find. I really enjoyed the deck, and because it was the last house at the end, it was very private. It was a quiet area, but not far from beaches and shops. For some reason I wasn't able to get in contact through text to confirm my check out time, but it may have been an issue on my end (phone.) I would definitely recommend this property to anyone interested!

Great budget rental

The house was fine for our needs. If there was a lot of snow, the driveway could be difficult, as it is long narrow and unpaved. Thankfully we didn’t have this problem. Also, if you are planning to do cooking, be aware there is no dishwasher or garbage disposal. The wood burning fireplace was very cozy and there was plenty of wood and plenty of space for 6 people.

Beautiful home

My experience with Bud was excellent. He called the day before our trip to make sure we were aware of a storm coming in and to check to see if we were prepared. We stayed Thanksgiving week, I was happy the house had a well equipped kitchen and that I was able to make a whole feast. The backyard is large and my kids enjoyed sledding and building snowmen. It was a short drive from Northstar and local shops/ Stores. I would recommend this home to anyone and look forward to returning.

Comfortable, Clean, Quiet

The cabin was easy to find thanks to the map Bud and Betsy sent us. It was clean and everything was organized. I was very kind of Bud and Betsy to turn the heat on prior to our arrival as we were getting in so late. Overall between the lovely redwoods surroundings us and the quiet cabin, we were very happy for the weekend.

Wonderful Carnelian Bay home

We stayed at this cabin for 2 weeks & things went very smoothly. The house served all of our needs, and the neighborhood was so quiet. Finding the right pet friendly rental can be a challenge, and this home not only made us feel at ease but our Dogs were at ease as well. Everyone was comfortable during our stay. We would definitely stay here again in the future. Working with Bud was a pleasure. We hope to be back again !
