Beautiful location, very peaceful and very relaxing

Was awesome. Just relaxed with friends. stayed in cabin all three days. Check in Was very easy The only downside is, we were asked to wash clothes and dishes before we leave I feel like if we are paying a cleaning fee that is a job for the cleaner BUT on other than that it was Awesome

A lot of little things that added up

The property and view are beautiful but property appears to be lacking in upkeep. There were a lot of "little" things that added up (quickly) to really affect our stay. Loose banisters, slippery stairs, exterior doors that would not stay closed during strong winds, no working microwave on the main floor, wobbly bunk bed... one or two of these could be overlooked but all of them were disappointing to say the least.

Disappointed

View was very nice and house had all the spaces to accommodate 9 adults but lots of cleaning and maintenance issues. Decks and exterior furniture dirty. Gas grill nasty and did not work (only one burner has small flame). Oven in main kitchen very dirty. Furniture very worn and tattered. Tub on mbr bathroom propped up with 2x6s. Shower/tub in upstairs bathroom drains very slowly (water ankle deep when taking shower. Coffee maker doesn’t work properly. Lots of small things ie; towel rings, toilet paper holders, etc broken or missing. Has been very nice/beautiful house but in need of maintenance & tlc.

Fantastic

We try to take a family trip every year and there is 12 us. 8 adults and 4 kids. The road to the cabin is very curvy so be careful. When we walked into the cabin it was amazing. It was very clean and well decorated. It had everything we needed for our stay. We stayed in most of the trip so we cooked our own meals. This kitchen was so well stocked we didn't have to buy anything. The appliances were updated and very nice. The refrigerator wasn't working well when we arrived but the host had already contacted me and made arrangements for putting in another one. He was so nice and courteous. He also rebooted the stove while he was there. There were plenty of towels for all of us. The beds were all comfortable. The view was amazing. The only problem some might have is there is no cable or satellite TV and the wifi is iffy. By far this is the nicest place we have stayed and we will rent again. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

BIGFOOT LODGE

When we arrived the place was very clean and had all the amenities. The refrigerator wasn't cooling well but the owner had already contacted me and they were bringing another one but there was another frig downstairs he said we could use till he brought the other. The view was awesome, plenty of seating on the balconies, the hot tub was perfect had plenty of firewood. All the beds were comfortable. We had 12 people and no one complained about the beds. The kitchen is the best stocked one I have ever seen in a rental. We didn't have to buy anything but food. All appliances were updated. The only problem is the wifi isn't good and there was no cable TV but you are in the mountains. If you have hulu live you can watch live TV. All in all this was a fantastic trip and we also had plenty of towels.

Gorgeous home with the best view

We had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful home and exploring North Georgia. The home itself had everything we needed and was very clean and well maintained. The view is breathtaking and made our trip. I only wish we could've stayed longer. I hope to rent this home again very soon! Thank you to the owners for sharing it with us!

Awesome getaway

This was a nice location to reconnect with family during a relentless pandemic. The views were absolutely amazing. The house had everything we forgot to bring. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Spectacular Family Cabin

Holiday getaway

We had a great time at this property. Gorgeous views and lots of space for our two families. Very close to downtown Blue Ridge area. The house didn’t have a lot of towels especially if using the hot tub so I would suggest bringing extra for larger groups. Would definitely book here again

Great family time!

So many special touches to staying at this house. We had plenty of room. A wonderful game room and many board games. The view on the deck was amazing. Well stocked kitchen of utensils and pans. We had a terrific time!

Friends getaway

As someone who likes to read reviews, I am giving a very detailed review of the place so you know what to expect. This place is absolutely beautiful. You walk into the cabin with the view promised by the pictures. We enjoyed our stay, but so many little things were broken it really took away from the full enjoyment. They have all the design and the appliances and luxury item, but haven’t kept up with little things to make the stay. Also, just a heads up, the loft isn’t a loft on its own. It sits outside 2 bedrooms, which we did not know, so you can awkwardly see people sleeping there. Here are the little things: the dishwasher was broken, the washer was broken, there was no light bulb shield in the fridge so it got hit by some OJ and broke glass all over the place. There were so many hornet nests, you couldn’t sit outside in the day (be careful if you’re bringing children). The drive way is put together with some logs, that were so out of place we had to fix it so we could get out. The faint smell of manure lingered by the hot tub. Lastly, there were dozens of scorpions on the bottom floor, dead and alive. Nothing like picking up a towel in the bathroom to a scorpion falling out... I’m not rating it low because these are all fixable. The place overall is stunning and can be great. We were all adults so it didn’t bother us too much, but if you have kids, I’d follow up about all the poisonous bug issues...

Amazing View!

This was probably the best cabin we've ever stayed in, and we've stayed in many. The view is amazing!! It's exactly like the photos. Huge cabin with plenty of space for three families. The house was very clean and well stocked with amenities. The hot tub was excellent. The road in is windy, and the driveway is very steep but our Prius handled it fine. I don't think we could've made it in snow, so just FYI. There did seem to be an infestation of lady bugs which could be dealt with (thousands!) but luckily it was lady bugs, which are the least gross of bugs so it didn't bother us that much ;) It's about 30 mins to downtown Blue Ridge. Easy drive. The view from the decks can't be beat! We would definitely stay here again.
