Murphy Getaway

Great mountain property with beautiful views. Especially enjoyed the large porch area with swing and rocking chairs. Host was very accommodating and I would highly recommend the property.

Great relaxing getaway with a gorgeous view

We loved our time at Scott's place in Murphy. Such a beautiful home with a wonderful view. We spent literally hours playing in the pool. We would love to return again next year.

Relaxing, Tranquil Getaway

My husband and I really enjoyed our weeklong stay at "Catus Cabin". The overall views and sunsets are truly amazing! The home is very nice! We grilled, swam in the private pool, hung out by the firepit, saw so much wildife, and just chilled. It was perfect! We also went into downtown Murphy, NC for some local eats and shopping. Nice place to visit!!

Fabulous trip

We loved the views! Scott was so easy to work with and answered all my questions quickly! We missed getting to use the pool but plan on staying here again! Very spacious and the porches and outdoor eating was enjoyable!

Awesome view, beautiful memories

A great family vacation, with my son's and their families. Grandkids 4-ages 3-13 had a great time making memories in the pool, watching sunsets, counting deer, making s'mores and fishing locally. Will be back! Took off a star for wasps around poolstarwap

Great getaway with amazing view

Overall our stay was amazing although too short. The views were gorgeous and the house was huge. A few minor things that I didn’t worry about and we will definitely be booking again in the future!

Wonderful Family time

Beautiful home, we had a great time. The kids loved the hot tub. We enjoyed the fireplace. This home is the friendliest and best stocked home we've ever rented. We loved it. Kudos to the owner!!

Amazing Place

This is a very peaceful and comfortable place to stay. We enjoyed the heated pool, fire pit and having our morning coffee out on the deck overlooking the lake. Lots of wildlife including a baby deer 20 feet from the porch. Communication with Scott was good. The outdoor furniture is outstanding and comfortable. We are already thinking about our next trip. Visiting the new grandbaby.

We enjoyed our stay. The deck was awesome and the views even better. Not far from town and the road wasn’t bad getting there. Loved the rocking chairs and swing on the deck. Had our meals utilizing the picnic table. The walk to the lake is a little hard for a couple of them that tried it, but we didn’t come for that. Master bedroom is very nice.

Peaceful Solitude

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this home. We wanted a vacation where we could do anything or nothing; go out or stay in; & that is exactly what this home allowed with a heated pool, a fire pit, and an amazing view! So, really no need to go anywhere else.

Varför värden valde detta boende

My plan was to have this be my first flip home. However, I got carried away with upgrades, fell in love with the views, and the warm feel of Murphy and it's wonderful, friendly residents. Bought my two partners out and finished the project with the quality required to eventually call it my retirement home.

Views, views, views! Also love the privacy and the pool and hottub.

The small town is so much fun (live music, etc.), don't miss a night on the town early into your trip! Have the town preacher serve you a beer and share the word at Parson's. He won't bring it up unless you do, but he has a great story and is easy to love!
