Tutu's Place ägs av Hawaii-född Lorna Larsen-Jeyte, före detta medägare till Kilauea Lodge. Stugan på 1 000 kvm ligger i hjärtat av Volcano Village, en kilometer från Volcanoes National Park på en privat körfält utan genomgående trafik. Vi kan välkomna upp till 5 gäster i två sovrum (ett med en king size-säng och ett med en dubbelsäng och dubbelsäng). Njut av en Jotul gasspis i ditt vardagsrum, ett fullt utrustat kök, smart TV för strömmande och en stor trädgård med utomhus matbord.

Detta hem ligger i hört av Volcano Village, ett litet konstnärssamhälle som ligger strax utanför Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park. På 3 750 meters höjd njuter staden Volcano och de flesta av nationalparken av ett svalare klimat än havsnivån. Den privata vägen, Hale Ohia Lane, har ett stort utbud av gamla tillväxtarter och tar omedelbart en tillbaka i tiden till gamla Hawaii-dagar. Inredningen i hemmet passar också den unika känslan av plats med målat glasfönster, glada tyger och alla nödvändiga bekvämligheter för en minnesvärd vistelse.

Detta hem ligger tvärs över den tysta gatan från "Ola'a Plantation House" och de två fastigheterna kan hyras tillsammans för underbara större sammankomster för upp till 10 gäster.

Stugan har sin egen privata uppfart med gott om plats för parkering.

Quiet and away from the crowds

Tutu’s House was in a great location to visit Volcanoes National Park…it was literally minutes away! We happened to stay here when the volcano was erupting so it made it super easy to go to the park multiple times to see it. The house had everything we needed including soap, shampoo, and conditioner in full sized bottles. The house was spacious and quiet and walking distance to a market and restaurants. We highly recommend eating at the Kilauea Lodge…best meal on the island.

Wonderful place for a Volcano Stay

Very happy with Tutu's Place. The host was easy to communicate with and provided wonderful information to make our stay enjoyable. The place was very clean and well kept. We had everything we needed. Great location for the area. Such a deligthful place to stay. Will continue to come back!

Wonderful historic house in Volcano

We loved our stay at Tutu's. The home was perfect for our family and had everything we needed for our 2-day visit to Volcano. The home is larger than is shown in the photos and was both historic in its charm, and modern with amenities such as Apple TV. It was very clean and inviting. We would definitely stay again!

Great place for exploring the volcano!

This place is such a cute place. It feels like an old bungalow. Our daughters loved waking up every morning and plying out in the big front yard and back yard. The beds are comfortable and slept all 5 of us perfectly. It’s probably a 3 minute drive to the park entrance, which was awesome because it was easy to come back for dinner and then make an attempt to see the lava glow after dark. The kitchen was nicely stocked and we were able to make all our meals in it. We didn’t try the restaurant that is within walking distance but we liked that that was an option if we needed it. All in all, a great place to stay for touring the volcano!

Charming cottage near VNP

We absolutely loved our 3 night stay at Tutu's Place. Very spacious and everything worked as expected. The cottage was very clean and we had solid communication with the owner/manager. This place is very quiet and secluded yet close to the Volcano Village shops/restaurants and a 5 min drive to the Volcanoes National Park entrance. It is a very special place and we can't wait to return to Tutu's again.

Great location

Charming home close to volcano and walking distance to restaurants and ebike rentals. Great Wi-Fi and plenty of linens. My only slight complaint was that the shower water pressure was weak. Everything else was so wonderful though.

FANTASTIC location and beautiful property.

Loved this place

Beautiful home

Tutu’s place was way more than I expected! It was a well maintained and beautiful house. A very comfortable stay with just the right amount of charm and touches to make you feel right at home. I would most definitely stay here again. Mahalo for allowing us to take a well deserved break from busy Oahu. I wish we could have stayed longer! Aloha!

Private and very cute

This place was amazing! The house itself was so charmingly historic and the attention to details and amenities was top notch! There was even a large supply of bandaids and Neosporin under the bathroom sink for all the times my kids fell while hiking in the park! Park access was so easy and the dead end street was very private and safe. LOVED this place and would definitely stay again. Thank you!!

Cozy and Cute

We had a wonderful stay at Tutu’s Place. It was cozy and cute with a renovation that updated the cottage beautifully yet retained the character of the home. We were able to easily walk to stores and restaurants in Volcano. It was a short drive to the national park. I highly recommend this home.
