Ola'a Plantation House i Volcano Village 1 mil från ingången till nationalparken

Ola'a (som betyder "livlig" på Hawaiian) Plantation House är ett 1700 kvadratmeter stort hem i hjärtat av Volcano Village med vintage Hawaiian möbler och original konst. Huset ägs och har uppdaterats eftertänksamt av grundaren av Kilauea Lodge och tidigare Magnum PI-make-up-konstnären Albert Jeyte (huset var en del av Kilauea Lodge-fastigheterna.) Du är värd av en av hans döttrar, Alexx.

Detta hem ligger i hjärtat av Volcano Village, ett litet konstnärssamhälle som ligger strax utanför ingången till Volcanoes National Park.

Njut av 2 sovrum, ett med king size-säng och det andra med två enkelsängar (kan göras till en king size-säng), ett badrum mellan de två sovrummen, och en extra fåfänga och diskbänk i det andra sovrummet. Vardagsrummet med gasspis har gott om utrymme att umgås och spela spel, läsa och en smart-TV med WiFi för streaming. Ett komplett kök med solrum och stor trädgård med uteservering väntar på dig. Detta hem ligger tvärs över den tysta gatan från "Tutu's Place" och de två fastigheterna kan hyras tillsammans för underbara större sammankomster för upp till 10 gäster.

På 3 750 meters höjd njuter staden Volcano och de flesta av nationalparken av ett svalare klimat än havsnivån. Den privata vägen, Hale Ohia Lane, har ett stort utbud av gamla tillväxtarter och tar omedelbart en tillbaka i tiden till gamla Hawaii-dagar. Hemmet är fylld med originalkonst av hawaiianska konstnärer, hawaiianska möbler och tyg.

Volcano House

The house was perfect for our visit to Volcano National Park. It was so comfortable and welcoming and an easy drive to the park. It offered everything we were looking for.

Phenomenal Stay!

We were so lucky and got to witness an eruption event while we were here! Such an incredible experience. This house was the perfect jumping off spot to the National Park. The house is exquisite with beautiful furniture and all of the things one would need to make their stay perfect. Truly the home itself is so special.

Comfortable and Peaceful Stay in Volcano Village

Quaint historic home, lots of room for big family, fully equipped. Good wifi, excellent location. Everything was absolute wonderful. It's a historic home with all the modern amenities. only reason for one less star is that it would be nice to have a 2nd bathroom. Other than that perfect place!

Volcano Plantation

Classic Hawaiian plantation style house; rustic in the best way! Truly a gem if you like old Hawaii...yet with all the modern amenities (TV Internet Kitchen etc.). House had electric heaters in every room as well as a gas fireplace that cranked out the heat. I will absolutely stay here again. 3 minutes and 33 seconds away from the Park entrance ( we timed it; that's with no cars on the road, 4-5 minutes avg. during the day) Thank you Ola'a!

A memorable anniversary retreat

This Plantation Home is very clean and is very close to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Restaurants are close by. A general store is a minute drive away. Home is very spacious with a very large living room with gas fireplace. It is tastefully decorated with local art. Electric heaters is every room was a nice feature! Check in was seamless. Highly recommend this home !

We really loved the place. Just some little quibbles or opportunities for improvement: The king bed heater barely provided any detectable heat at any setting (all controls looked like they were functioning and everything was plugged in). The back porch light was out. Nice to have would be a second small smooth frypan (one was smooth and one was ridged, so doing a pancake and a fried egg at the same time required using a deep pot), but there were plenty of pots, pans, and kitchen implements

Charming historical home

Our family of four was comfortable in this lovely home. It was interesting to stay in a plantation style home and a nice change after all of the resorts on the Kona side. I We did not use the kitchen so cannot comment on that but the beds were very comfy and the fireplace was a real treat.
