Perfect size and location.

We were able to check in early. The house is spacious and fully stocked in the kitchen so u can cook your own meals. Could not beat the location.

Clean, well maintained and equipped.

The house was very clean and well maintained. In addition, it was very well equipped with plenty of towels, cooking utensils and kitchen equipment.

Great Place

We came for Homecoming weekend for our HS kids. We enjoyed the 21/2 bathrooms and plenty of places to sleep. The home was updated, clean, and very comfortable. The location to everything was great for a short weekend. Would definitely be back.

Bien Blue Good for You

Weekend getaway for our family. This house sleeps plenty. Needed a house that had 3 bedrooms for privacy for 3 married couples instead of a hostel feel to a house. This place was right. Nicely decorated, large wall mounted flat panel. All new appliances including washer and dryer, keyless entry, easy walk to the seawall if you want. Central air was plenty cold. Back bedroom had a window unit for added cold air that would wake the dead if fan motor was on high, run it on medium no issues. Only negative was neighbors outdoor lights on all night long and even with the shades drawn it was quite bright in the bedroom when trying to sleep. Kitchen was well equipped. Charcoal grill is OK. Parking is tight if you have 3 cars to park. Friendly neighborhood.

Nice little house…but

When we arrived the house was clean. Except for the refrigerator, which smelled like rotten fish. I spent two hours cleaning it so I could put our food in it, only to find out the next day that it wasn’t cooling and ruined food for 8 people for 3 days. I did contact the property manager and they dropped a small fridge on the porch for us to use. It was full of bugs. The neighborhood is a little sketchy if I’m honest. The neighbors were very friendly, but the area looks really rough in some spots. Also, the AC situation is a bit uncomfortable. It just doesn’t cool enough for the heat of summer. Several rooms couldn’t be shut due to the heat. The beds need to either be replaced or need mattress toppers. They are very hard and uncomfortable. I was given a $125 refund which didn’t even begin to cover what I lost financially from the refrigerator going out. We had to eat out for several meals due to this issue which was not in the plan. The fact that we pay a cleaning fee and I had to clean the fridge was terrible and there’s no way the cleaning crew wasn’t aware of the smell because they had put baking soda in it. Your property managers should be verifying these places are CLEAN if your charging fees for cleaning.

Spring Break

My family and I stayed at this property for a few days during spring break. The stay was amazing. The house was super clean and had all the essentials we needed for a home away from home. The kids had a lot of fun and all the amenities made things easier. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Everything you could need or want!

We loved our beach house! 3 generations stayed for family spring break get-away. The layout is perfect for large families and every attention to detail has been given. Definitely recommend The Blue Bien!

New Years trip with friends

Two families of four stayed at this charming cottage for a New Year's get away. The home was immaculate. Comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen and lots of little attention to detail that we appreciated. Location/proximity to attractions was great. Only issue was the smoke detectors. The first time we cooked, we set off the smoke detectors but we were frying bacon and did smoke up the kitchen little bit. After that, EVERY detector in the house went off EVERY time we cooked anything, whether stove top or inside the oven. We didn't burn anything and other than the first morning's bacon, there was no smoke. I have never experienced anything like it. Very annoying and frustrating. Not sure if the detectors have sensitivity settings or if there are too many for the size of the property? A rolling cart/butcher block in the kitchen would be a nice addition as the counter space is limited. Otherwise it was great and lots well appointed with utensils, appliances etc

Great place. Super host. Close to the beach.

We stayed here for my husband birthday getaway. This place is super cute with ocean themed decor. Host Tracy is very responsive and super sweet. This place has everything that we need to make us feel like home. Just a short walking distance to Pleasure Pier, with a wide selection of food venues and retail shops. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely will be back. Highly recommended! 5 stars for Bien Blue.

Perfect Stay!

BienBlue Vacation Rental was the perfect stay for our family vacation in Galveston, TX! The Bright Blue Cottage/House is a large, one-level home which offers a comfy stay for up to 13 people with 2 full bathrooms and a 1/2 bathroom. Everything you would need, this vacation rental has...it is fully equipped! The home looks newly renovated and was spotless! The location is great...just a few blocks from Pleasure Pier, the beach and many restaurants. Our family truly enjoyed our stay! Thank you, Tracy for sharing your BienBlue Home!
