Great for a large group!

The 4 units worked so well for our large group! We chaperoned 11 High School Seniors on a Galveston trip. Having our own unit allowed us to have privacy from all the teens, while also giving them the space to feel like we weren't always in their business. They loved the game room and also enjoyed having a kitchen in each unit. The location is so close to the Seawall and the Pleasure Pier! The property manager was easy to contact and replied immediately. We would definitely book again!

Historic Site

This was an incredible property with tons of history and a very unique layout. It is basically 4 self-contained units all under one roof and built in 1901. We had so much fun researching the history on the home and loved the privacy that each unit provided. We will definitely book this property again!!!

Great property

We stayed at this location for the Lone Star Rally. We had 9 adults staying at the house. There was plenty of room for everyone to have privacy and enough bathrooms that nobody had to wait for a restroom. The only hiccup was a stain on one of the sheets. I contacted the property manager and it was taken care of immediately. We will definitely look for this house to rent again on our next trip.

My family and i , planned a last minute trip for a weekend to galveston , thankfully we found this house and IT WAS PERFECT. This house had everything we needed and more. We got there a few hours early but the host was super helpful and they helped us find a solution. The host was super nice and responds winthin minutes if you have any questions, which is awesome. I definately recommend this house if you have a big family, it’s comfortable and fun.

Lovely house in a good location

A few families from our soccer team stayed for a beach tournament. There were plenty of beds and with 4 kitchens each family was able to have one. We walked to Fish Tales for dinner and the pier. Great location! The property manager was very helpful and quickly answered my questions. Definitely recommend

GREAT PLACE

We recently stayed at the McGuire Dent House in Galveston. We had a group of 17 with kids as young as 2 and 4 years old. Plenty of room and bathrooms for our group. Within walking distance to the beach and restaurant's. Would recommend for large groups or family.

A GREAT VACATION!

We had an excellent stay! The communication was awesome and checking in was a breeze. The home was walkable to the beach, to great restaurants, and super comfortable when we were inside. The kitchen had everything we needed and we felt super relaxed. A great stay!

Cruise Crew 2024

We were a party of 10. Great location. Comfortable accommodation. It was so nice for each couple to have their own space and yet we were able to eat, hang out and play games together. Unfortunately, the suites are not stocked very well. Minimal dishes and no salt or pepper etc. we could get the lights on in the bottom suite (we arrived after dark). We called the property manager and they sent someone right way. Over all we had a great time in Galveston before our cruise and would recommend this location for a group.

Overall good stay

We were a large group of 20 people renting all the four units. The property was very clean and well decorated. The communication was excellent. Although the four kitchens were not equipped with enough utensils, it was nice to have 4 refrigerators for storage. The listing said sleeps 20 people but I carried 3 sleeping cots so we were able to manage. There was enough bedding and pillows, but one of the bed and 2 futons did not fit 2 adults. We wanted to be able to enjoy family time together but there was very less space to sit together and enjoy the meals. The gameroom was very useful but was very tight to move around. It was nice to have TV in every room. Overall experience was good. Perhaps a smaller head count will be better next time.

Bring towels and toilet paper with you

I asked for early check in even if I have to pay extra and they said no. When I went to check if the property was ready the lady who just finished cleaning told me they could of do early check in and I mention to her that I did asked but it was not available and she looked surprised. They don’t have enough towels nor toilet paper. The doors are really hard to open even unlocked. Other than that it was a nice stay.

Fourth July Family Gateway

Great Location if you're looking for a place walking distance this is it! It had a really cute beach decor, really spacious indoor and outdoor, things we didn't like two TV's didn't have remotes, the sofa beds we're very uncomfortable, and there wasn't one commen room where we could all gather and eat my family is of 20 and we all like being together and only way was to be outside in the front porch or in the back yard. Each Pier has their own kitchen which is nice but we all ate sepreatly it can worked great for breakfast time but not lunch or dinner. Family really loved Galveston! & The location

We enjoyed this Galveston trip so much, we're looking forward to renting this beach house again. It is spacious and beautiful! Anytime we had to reach out to mgmt they took care of issue immediately. Best customer service skills ever.

Galveston Getaway

Wonderful property that is 4 apartments in one. Each has its own bathroom and kitchen, making this a great vacation for extended family and friend reunions. The manager is great with excellent communication and access throughout. There was an issue with someone leaving some old pizza and the box at the doorstep after the cleaning and they came over and cleaned it up right away. I would definitely rent again the next time we are in town.

Great spot for our short family gathering. Gave us the chance to be together without being on top of one another. Contact with property rep was great. The location is very convenient for getting around on foot to beach, Pleasure Pier, and some restaurants. Close to community center park. The kids loved that, and there are stores for staples a short drive away. Older home with decorative charm.
