Gulf of Mexico Getaway

Perfect place at the perfect price. Nice, roomy house with big deck. Hard to beat the nightly crab hunting.

Another great stay at Bermuda Beach!

This was our second stay at this property. The views cannot be beat and we enjoyed it as much as the first time. Our fur babies were welcome and did great. Thanks to Lisa for sharing her home with us!

We loved the the house it was easy access to the beach. The view from the house was beautiful. The water in Galveston was beautiful all weekend.

A sweet oasis

The place is clean and has all you need to relax at the beach, even down to hats to protect you from the sun. It is accesible to everything, just a few minutes away from the Seawall, fishing pier, Pleasure Pier, and all the other attractions Galveston has to offer while also serving as A quiet place to relax, just a few steps away from the water.

Cute beach house

Cute house with a great view of the beach. Nice quiet neighborhood. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cookware. The upstairs deck was the best part. We really enjoyed sitting out there and watching the waves roll in.

Fantastic home with an exceptional view!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is comfortable and well stocked. The view from the patio cannot be beat. The neighborhood is nice, and obviously very dog friendly, which was a huge plus for us. The beach is so simple to get to, and it's very clean and very well maintained. We have stayed at many beach houses in and around the Galveston area over the past 9 years, and this is definitely in my top 3 favorites of all time. Thank you so much for having us. I hope we can come back real soon!

Great location and couldn't ask for more!

My family had a great stay at this house... it was well-appointed, and the deck was particularly welcoming- we all loved to hang out on the deck, day or night! Everyone was comfortable, and we all loved being just a few steps away from the beach. Also, there were a lot of great items for recreation downstairs- we used the inner tubes out in the Gulf (admittedly a bit chilly in December), and would have tried out the bikes too if we had more time. Highly recommend this place to others, and hope we get the chance to come back!

Thanksgiving on the beach

My family had a wonderful time at this beach house! The house was perfect for 3 adults, 2 kids and our dogs. The beds were super comfy, the kitchen was well stocked and the view from the deck could not be beat! My favorite part of the house is the deck. It has lots of seating options to sit and watch the waves! The relaxing sound of the waves can be heard on the deck or just by opening up some windows in the house. We appreciated the beach items that were available for our use (bike, beach chairs and boogie boards). The beach was super clean, had lots of shells and crabs and was not crowded at all. We can’t wait to go back!

The home was very nice and clean. We loved the great view of the ocean. It had everything we needed for our vacation stay. Well stocked Kitchen. We had our two grandkids age 3 and 10 months. The entry door had a safe lock that toddlers cannot unlock . There was plenty of parking for several cars and very close to the beach. It was a great location and I would definitely recommend the home for a family with children!

Communications was excellent. We had a great time with our family including the grandkids. Kitchen was well equipped. Great view of the gulf from the nice deck, den, and master bedroom.

It was a perfect spot for two friends vacationing with their teenage kids. So close to the beach and yet far enough from the downtown hustle that we felt comfortable allowing our kids to come and go to the beach, even after dark. Havana House is well kept and provisioned. We had a great stay!

Family getaway

We had a great time! The beach house was super clean and cozy! Neighborhood is quiet and the view is great! Love the large porch and very accessible to the beach! So easy with a little toddler, so close to beach that when it was time to nap or done with the heat for her, they could just walk right back up and everyone else could still enjoy the beach! We will stay there again!

Could have been cleaner

House was not cleaned well. White dog hair under the dinning table and human hair in drain of both shower and tub. One slat missing on the upper deck railing. Opening was large enough for a child to fall through. Other than that, the house was very functional and steps from the beach. We really enjoyed our week there.

Havana House is perfect for a family vacation. Everything you need is provided except your swim suit and food! Great view of the ocean just a very short distance away. Bermuda Beach is a wonderful place to vacation. Away from the traffic and crowds of Galveston yet close enough to visit.

Exactly what we needed

I brought 2 kids under 2 and found the property very suited for kids. The furniture is sturdy and there weren't too many decorative elements that needed to be moved to higher surfaces to accommodate crawlers. We had my younger child sleep in a play pen in the living room and my toddler sleep in a bunk. There was a highchair and plastic dishware was available. We did have to move the cleaning supplies from beneath the sink, just for parental peace of mind but we just moved it to the counter and moved it back before we left. My only issue was that the bunk room didn't have a blackout option so my toddler would not nap, but I should have brought my travel blackout window cover. I would rent this place again. 30 second walk to the sandy beach.

Beautiful Beach House

Beautiful home, so well decorated and well supplied! I was sad to see the seaweed on the beach, but that is beyond owners’s control and will recede. We got to see a large sea turtle in the surf - such a thrill!

Great location!

Location of the house is phenomenal. Beautiful views from the living area and steps to the beach. Listing said there were beach chairs available for use, but they were more of a folding camping chair. If I had known that, I would have brought my own beach chairs. Still worked fine, but not what I was expecting. Overall, great experience. Would definitely book again.

Always a great stay at the Havana House

This is our go to rental! Booked 4 times for the Lone Star Rally! We love it here! The distance to Seawall Blvd and the Strand is perfect; great for bikers and vehicles. There is plenty of parking and the view of the beach is stunning! The deck is awesome! Home was very clean which we loved! Contact with Lisa was great! Everything about this rental is wonderful! We will definitely continue with this rental! wonderful!

I am originally from the Dakotas and I have always dreamed of living on a beach someday. Now my dreams have come true!. I just bought the beach house because I just loved how cute the house was and how close it is to town!. It is wonderful to just sit and watch the waves from the deck while I'm drinking my morning coffee.

Varför värden valde detta boende

I loved this property because of the beautiful view I have of the water. The beach in front is very private feeling and never crowded because it is not very close to the public access beaches. I also love how close it is to all the fun things that Galveston has to offer...it is just a quick trip 5 minute trip into town.
