Loved the studio!

The studio was very clean and had everything we needed for our 3 day stay! Check in was easy. It was right on the canal with lots of bird sightings. The beach was only a couple blocks away. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby too. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book it again!

Convenient, clean, and comfortable

The property was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Our family rented a house nearby, so we really only slept here. There are two things I wish I knew prior to booking. First, you don’t have control over the temperature in this property, no thermostat. Second, there is an exit sign above the exterior door in the room that illuminates the entire room in blood red light all night long. Aside from those two things, everything was great. I travel with a sound machine, so I can’t comment about noise on the property.

No Control Over the AC

There was no indication in the listing that we would have no control over the air conditioning for the unit. The unit became hot and uncomfortable during our stay with the only solutions from the owner being to provide a box fan and after a lot of back and forth they then offered a portable air conditioning unit. The cleanliness was also not the best as the towels and linens in the unit had a very dirty smell, almost as if they haven't been washed. The couch in the unit was also broken when we would use the pull out feature, it would cause the entire thing to fall down. The only positive note for the unit is the location as it was a very short walk to the 8th Street beach entrance. For all of these factors, we requested a refund and did not complete our fully scheduled stay at this unit.
