Beeing full time host at our place for over 10 years. We offer A beautiful and comfortable apartment, at a perfect location (within 5 min walk from the main gate of Old town). Beside fantastic location, and a secure off-street parking beside the house. You will find numerous shops/restaurants within 200 meters!

Include one closed and spacious bedroom, spacious living room (with top quality/comfort sofa-bed), beautiful kitchen/dining room, bathroom, all fully equipped (+ wifi, cable, etc..). “European cachet" - typically old Quebec style

Quebec City Adventure

Mike and his place were welcoming and accomodating. The location is perfect for walking into and around Old Quebec City. And the local restaurants were on the very next street over. Again, the community there was welcoming and kind.

Outside looks a little deceiving but once inside apartment was clean and very comfortable. Perfect location for exploring old Quebec.

Pros: Good location. Cozy apartment. Cons: Locks on the two sets of doors leaving the apartment should be upgraded. I have not seen such flimsy locks on a VRBO rental. The level of privacy was less than expected. The noise from people walking around in the unit above us was unexpected. Someone using a BBQ a few metres outside the kitchen window was a surprise.

Lovely and comfortable apartment in a great location

My interaction with Mike was superb right from first contact. He quickly answered my questions, from general inquiries about the property to feedback about the day trip I planned. The apartment is lovely and exactly as shown in the photos. Mike and Marjory provided some thoughtful amenities, including an American-style coffee pot and French press; magazines on the mantel; a bookshelf full of books for pleasure reading and Quebec travel guides/ideas; and business cards for local restaurants and other amenities. Although getting around is easy and best done on foot, the availability of a parking spot immediately next to the apartment was one of the deciding factors for me, since I wanted to spend a couple of days in the countryside. (Car rental is available only a few blocks away). The city attractions are very walkable from the apartment, but do yourself a favor and spend a little time in the neighborhood, as well (St. Jean-Baptiste). There are great shops and restaurants all along Rue St. Jean, only one block away. On Saturday night during my stay, the street was closed to traffic and it seemed the whole neighborhood came out to the enjoy the lovely evening! Families, performing musicians, couples strolling, dog walkers, sidewalk sales, outside dining - fun to be a part of this. I highly recommend this property! You won't be disappointed by Mike and Marjory's hospitality. The neighborhood is terrific, in addition to being a convenient home-base for your stay.

Great place. Great hosts. Great city.

This apartment is a superb place to stay in Quebec City. It is clean, comfortable, and within easy walking distance of most things any visitor to town would want to see. It is also very convenient to superb restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops, and food stores. The hosts are superb. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Neighborhood for walking

Such a cool little unit centrally located to many different places to investigate. We found it very cozy with everything we needed. Shops a close walk to get anything else.

Needs refreshing

Pros: Great location, kitchen well equipped, clean bathroom and comfortable bed. Cons: lots of light fixtures yet poor lighting, tv did not work 4 out 5 days yet contacted owner after day 1 issue never resolved. We stayed in February for a ski trip and found property cold.

We had such a lovely time and the apartment was in the perfect location to walk to all of the Quebec City must see sights plus restaurants, gourmet grocery stores, liquor stores and gift shops! Very cozy. We can't wait to come back!

nice place in Quebec City

The unit was accurately described and depicted. Very clean and tidy. The location was walkable to all the main attractions, no need to taxi or uber if you don’t mind a 10-15 min walk. The owners were responsive helpful polite and curteous. I would recommend this VRBO’er.

Perfect location for a winter getaway

Cozy apartment located just a block off the Main Street with tons of shops and restaurants and a very doable walk into the old city. Very cool boho neighborhood. The apartment was clean, warm, and comfortable for our family. The pull out couch was surprisingly a very comfortable nights sleep. The bedroom enclosed by charming French doors was also a nice private escape. Exposed brick in the kitchen, and a table to play games and eat a quick breakfast before heading out to explore the city. Only thing I would have liked were some soap/shampoo for the shower — we had to go to a pharmacy to buy that in order to take a shower. Thank you for a great stay for our first time in Quebec!

Charming home steps from Rue Saint-Jean

The property was easy to find and entry instructions clear and easy to follow. The photos do a great job showing how warm and inviting the space is. There are two busses that come by, but we never figured out how to catch them so just walked where we wanted to go. And because of the location, it was easy to get to all the major sights on foot within minutes. The place was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was small but worked fine. It has a kitchen, but we didn't use it. Would definitely recommend.

More pros than cons

We stayed for 7 nights and overall it was positive with no real problems. Pros: Clean, good, safe location, free and easy parking, lots of hot water for shower, comfortable bed, good wifi, good tv stations Cons: No separate washer/dryer (you needed to use one in owner’s space and while it did say that in the description it was in small print and admittedly, I missed it, it was a real Con for us since we were there a week) Apartment is a little worn and needs work but clean and comfortable Having said this, we enjoyed our stay and more pros than cons

Fun area of Quebec City

I had never spent any time in this area of Quebec City and really enjoyed it. Still close to the old town but also close to the Parliament Buildings. The apartment was great. There is A/C but only in the kitchen and we used a fan to push the cool air into the bedroom from the kitchen. I was wonderful to have included parking very close by.

Acceuil prevenant et efficace. L'appartement est très confortable avec commerces et restaurants à proximité immédiate et vieux Québec facilement accessible à pied. Avec le garage en prime, c'était parfait !

Nice apartment close to Old Town

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this apartment close to Old Town Quebec. It was well equipped for the most part and the beds and linens were high quality. The host was WONDERFUL to let us in himself when we were delayed and arrived very late as well as being attentive for questions and small needs. I would caution guests that the steps to enter are quite steep off the street as well as that you need to bring your own soap, shampoo and hair dryer. Having parking available was also a great bonus to this place, but make sure you read the host’s instructions carefully as there are several keys involved to get into/out of both the apartment and garage. I would also advise that the AC unit is in the kitchen, and the back bedroom has a fan but it can get stuffy. I would also advise that if you are traveling with children or another couple, the only bathroom is by the front door and the curtain separating the bedroom from the living room on the door is transparent which for some requiring privacy might be an issue. For a solo couple it would be great. We made it work and loved the proximity to Old Town during our stay.

Perfect!!!

The location was amazing - right we're you want to be by Rue Saint Jean, and a 5-minute walk to the Old City. The property is wonderfully equipped and spotlessly clean. It had very convenient parking. The managers are extremely helpful and responsive. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning!
