  • Ahh at last... Paradise!!

"What can I say, our 2nd trip to St Croix and we absolutely loved "Breezy Beach"!! As a matter of fact, it is so beautiful that we almost wanted to keep it a secret so no one else would find out about it!! A great clean house right on the water with a great pool and views to kill for in a super location in the East end.. By all means, do yourself a favor and put this place high on your list, as you won't regret it... Owner, Lee was great and easy to deal with and Pamela, the rental manager, met us at the airport and got us settled at the house. Good people, great time... we will be back!! Thanks Lee and Pamela All our best"👍 Steve &Karen"

  • Fabulous and Fun

"Our children and grandchildren joined us for a weekend at the Traub's beautiful home. We had the pleasure of meeting them the day before...such warm, friendly people. Fabulous setting by the lake and the back yard was beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching an occasional boat go by the first evening..so peaceful looking out over the lake with the fall foliage. Unfortunately, it rained hard the next day, but we all had great fun anyway..the little ones found the toy box, we played games, watched a movie and the older ones enjoyed the wonderful finished basement, playing shuffle board and watching football. We were all felt very comfortable there...just like home! My husband and I had a great breakfast at Terra Cottage Café and Gifts and proceeded to do a little fun shopping there the day before the kids got there. Of course, a big family breakfast at Piggy's was a great way to wrap up the weekend. Thanks, Denise and Geoff!!"

  • Perfect four our four families!!!

"We traveled to this property over the 2016 December Holidays. It suited our family, three generations, perfectly! And the fact that each bedroom has a dedicated bathroom was a sure plus! The kitchen was very well stocked. On the Main Floor, there are two master bedrooms with king sized beds. The Main floor is actually up one flight of stairs from the garage. Living room had huge windows overlooking a deck. Also, off the Main floor is the hot tub, perhaps five steps from the door. Upstairs were two more bedrooms each with a bathroom. One bedroom had twin bunk beds which was perfect for 'Mom, Dad, and a toddler'. We parked the kids downstairs on the garage level, which had six beds (three sets of bunk beds) and a separate 'TV area'. The laundry room was on this lower level too. It was perfect for the teenagers to have their own space! The two washers and dryers were of great use, as we packed very lightly and simply did laundry mid-trip. The house is about 1.5 miles south of Breck, perhaps a 5-7 minute drive to the gondola with morning traffic over the holiday week. It's on a bus route, but not overly convenient as the bus stops two times in the morning, 6:40 and 8:10 I believe, and leaves the gondola lot two times in the afternoon, 4PM and 6:10PM. It's more of a commuter service for workers vs. a shuttle service for skiers. We drove and parked at the gondola lot for $7-$13 per day, depending on who was working the ticket booth...crazy! I thought the bedrooms were larger than the pictures portrayed. The bathrooms are not huge, but certainly most functional and worth losing a little counter space for a private bath for each bedroom. The older kids did some sledding on the hillside behind the house. The driveway easily accommodated our three SUVs and the driveway was plowed each morning around 8AM. We had no issues getting in or out of the drive. The owners are very responsive, both before our travels and during our travels when we had a mechanical hiccup, which was readily solved. They truly want their guests to feel at home. Games, movies, wifi, Wii, etc...the house lacks for nothing. For our three generations, and the way each generation had its own 'floor'...well it was absolutely perfect! We'd stay again without shopping other homes. Thanks Traci and Steve!"
