  • Perfect Place for a Vaca

"My friends (13) and I found this property while we were planning a golf trip/bachelor party - this house/property is EXACTLY what we were looking for. The house is just a short walk from the beach, the putting green/corn hole court/ping pong table provided hours of entertainment and the house itself slept us all comfortably. Bella is a true professional and provided us with a wonderful experience while always offering assistance/guidance to us "newbies" of Myrtle Beach, if needed. I would highly recommend this property to any group looking for the perfect Myrtle Beach experience."

  • Spacious, Beautiful Mountain Home!

"This home is far nicer than a mountain cabin--spacious, beautifully decorated, huge kitchen, completely furnished with everything one could need. The bedrooms are split (on opposite sides of the home). There's a living room, dining room , and breakfast area. The beds and linens are excellent. Both bathrooms are ensuite. There is a large walk-in shower. There's easy access off the paved highway. Nicest of all is the owner,Carolyn Gale, and her caretakers, the Browns. Franklin is an excellent center for forays--northwest to the Wayah Bald and Nantahala River areas; southwest along the Cullasaja River and its falls to Highlands; northeast to Sylva, Maggie Valley, and Waynesville. Wherever our day trips took us it was always nice to come home to the comfort and quiet of this mountain home."

  • Perfection

"We had perfect holidays, the house was clean and very quiet. The hot tub is wonderfull (hard to live without now) and It's not too far from Borgarnes, very easy to buy our food, The gravel road in winter looks a battlefield for us, rent a 4x4 is a good choice. About car and road, Heidi & Rob saved us the 1st day when we were sticked in the mud (our fault, we turned on the bad road, so don't trust google map and follow the house's manual!). Furthermore they were very patient with our awful english level (sorry we are French!). We couldn't see boreal lights so we hope to come back! Thank you so much!"

  • Great property

"This property was awesome and had everything we needed after long days on the boat. Space was adequate with 3 bedrooms (each with a queen) and a pullout couch. If you are staying for an extended period of time i would recommend bringing extra toilet paper and waters as they are only stocked at the beginning of the stay (large culligan water system but we went through two big bottles in a week). The only negatives we experienced were complaints by older renters to the strata of noise (sometimes when it wasn't even us) so make sure to respect the 11pm quiet time. There is also no air conditioning so if it's mid 30's it is a little hard to sleep. Our direct neighbors were awesome and super helpful whenever we needed anything. Leanne (property manager) was incredible to work with and was always available by phone or email whenever we had questions. Overall great property, nice spot on the lake with limited boat traffic and close to a fueling station."
