  • The Perfect Spot for our Family Reunion!

"We LOVED staying at Stella's beach cottage. It was perfect for our family of 6. The location can't be beat- just a few steps to the beach and restaurants. The front patio was warm and sunny and a great spot for a barbecue. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed- the hosts thought of every detail! There were even holiday chocolates on the table when we arrived. We enjoyed the cupboard full of games that we played every night after dinner. The baby was grateful for the high chair, crib and beach toys. We really appreciated the beach cruisers and had fun riding up and down the boardwalk. The surf and sunsets were amazing! We hope to return to San Diego someday soon and will definitely stay here again. Thank you for everything!"

  • Villa Emplisi

"Holidayed here as a family of four ( children aged 3 and 5), and additional grandparents for a weekend. The pool is a good size, and very clean. Unheated though our children were in it all day from 8am every morning even in June. Plenty of shade for eating outside at most times of day. Comfortable furniture, especially the beds which also had lovely quality cotton sheets ( which were changed midweek). Very quiet location. A few neighbouring villas which seemed occupied by a mix of Greek families and rentals to tourists). All the bedrooms are large, and the garden is well laid out. Great sunsets. The nearest bar/restaurants are 5 min drive - Odysseus at Agia Jerusalem is right up there now in our favourite ever places for lunch. Friendly family who run the restaurant, very helpful and awesome simple food. In the other direction Acqua at Agia Atilies(?) was a great spot for an afternoon dip and sundowner drinks. Local mini markets were fine, some nice produce, and if you really wanted to endure a full 15 minute drive then Fiskardo was easy. Foki Beach worth a trip for lunch also. House was immaculate inside and outside. Very clean. Nice to have aircon though we never used it. Mosquito nets on all the doors and windows were great too, though we didn't see that many biters around anyway. My only cautionary note would be about some of the split levels in the garden. There are two little flights of steps in the garden which don't have a rail next to them, and also two other small steps to watch out for . Neither of our children had any problem, but oldies might need to be careful. RIchard and Jamie at IPS were great to deal with. I didn't meet either of them but they responded promptly to any queries, and went well out of their way to help us with returning an item that we left behind. Agia Jerusalem beach and taverna is just about within walking distance, and there isn't really anything else to do within walking distance except go for a walk ! That's fine by us, and we loved the peace and quiet. I think we'll return in a couple of years - the location nearby the great tavernas and quiet beaches, and also the cleanliness of the place and size of the pool are a winner for us."

  • Amazing apartment

"The apartment has a small footprint but every detail has been thought out and it is beautifully furnished. Everything you could need was there. There was plenty of information on trips /transport etc in the apartment. Ben had arranged the taxi transfer from the airport and the lovely Maria was there to meet us and explain everything. It madethe start of the holiday so easy and stress free. We enjoyed the fact that the apartment is in the old town and away from the touristy hotel strip. But it is a steep walk down to the town if you are infirm We loved the 2 balconies and sea views. We spent a lot of time reading and sipping wine outside. There was building work going on in the neighborhood but it was not noisy and did not worry us. Nor did the fact that the apartment is on the road - it's not a busy road. I'mean a very light sleeper but I wasn't woken by any traffic If you are looking for a quiet relaxing stay this is an ideal location and we would highly recommend"

  • Cozy rental

"The condo was a great size for us with a separate bedroom. The fireplace was awesome! Great location with lift pick-up right outside building. My only complaint was that the 2nd bedroom was freezing every morning which is not ideal for a childrens room. The master bedroom was warm and cozy but my daughter had to cover up with both comforters to stay warm but it was still freezing. Other than that stay was great. The owner was available via phone and answered messages on homeaway within a couple hours."
