  • Great location, great people

"The property is exactly as depicted in the pictures. In addition, it's a great location for doing stuff either on the Cabot Trail or in Baddeck. The views from the home are spectacular. In addition, the local caretaker was fantastic. The internet was down when I arrived, and in less than a day of my contacting the caretakers, they had things up and running. Just great service and extraordinarily great people. Highest recommendation."

  • Highly recommended!

"We just spent five days in Neil's Harbour at this lovely little cottage. It was spotless and very well equipped. Our hosts, Jackie and Greg, were most hospitable and were ready with tips for the area and offers for a ride on the fishing boat! This, of course, was the highlight for our boys! We loved our stay immensely and can't wait to go back! Thanks again, our holiday was perfect!"

  • Beyond expectations!

"Unparalleled tranquility with rocky coast and ocean panorama out the back door. The cottage is perfectly appointed with easy access to any necessary amenities. Small castal village without tourist hype. Genuine Nova Scotia hospitality and charm. We adore this place and hope to return! Thank you Sperry family and Kathy and Ron property managers for making our time so memorable in your spectacular village! Dave and Lydia, Helena, MT"

  • Fantastic house at the end of the earth

"This was a fantastic place for our family to stay while we visited northern Cape Breton. The view from the back deck was even better than it looks in the pictures, and was great to wake up to every morning. The location, while a bit out of the way (it is, after all, the "end of the earth") was perfect for relaxing at the end of long days hiking through the national park and other nearby trails. Darrell was very helpful was we prepared for our trip, answering all of our questions very quickly (usually within just a few hours). The house itself was clean and as described. However, I would recommend updating the listing with a few more pictures. In this case, we were pleasantly surprised upon arrival: it has a very inviting living room, one of the bedrooms is perfect for kids (with bunk beds), and the larger bedroom has the same beautiful view as off the back deck. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful place to stay that's off the beaten path."
