  • Great spot away from the typical tourist attractions

"Modernized all season house/cottage with a well stocked kitchen for easy meal prep. Bedrooms are a nice size with firm beds. The full bath is very spacious. Two separate sitting areas on the main floor for comfortable relaxation or reading. The large windows overlook beautiful fields and a bay. Nice walking path to the water front where you can sit and relax on some well placed chairs. Close to the coop grocery store in Wellington, Green Park with the Yeo estate and ship building museum. As well as an alpaca farm that is open for tours is located just down the road. The location is very quite. Sleeping with the windows open to enjoy the fresh island air will not be disturbed by outside noise. We had a great time and would highly recommend this home to family and friends visiting the island."

  • Great cottage for families

"We stayed here with two families - 4 adults and 3 kids under 3. The cottage was perfect for a stay with a toddler. There was a swing set and even some toys, movies, and books for her to play with. The hot tub was perfect for unwinding at night. The half bath in the bedroom upstairs allowed each family to have their own space. Satellite TV, bluray, and wifi means it had all the amenities we needed. The owner includes a park pass so we got free entry to Cavendish beach 5 minutes away. We would highly recommend this cottage!"

  • Love this place

"Didn't know what to expect when we arrived but were totally charmed by the cottage and beach! It's my new happy place. Loved the sound of the waves, the absolute quiet and slower pace of life. Owners were very responsive to our questions. There's something very peaceful about watching the tide go in and out. As well, the view of the bridge was incredible, especially at sunset. The surrounding area was wonderful - we especially loved the church at Indian River - attended a wonderful jazz concert there and the sound was awesome. We're already trying to fit another visit into our schedule. The cottage is well appointed - lots of pots and pans and plates, etc. Fridge is a good size. The plus for us was the gas stove. The neighbors were really friendly and the Roadside Gallery (about 1/4 mile from the cottage) was great - good chowder and lots of things to buy:) Fresh cut fries at the Red Rooster were the best. Saw a bald eagle and its nest, a red fox and other wildlife. Beach is perfect, perfect, perfect. Explored a lot of the island and loved everything we saw, but when we arrived back at the cottage, our world just fell into place. Nothing like a glass of wine watching the sun go down. A wonderful vacation!"

  • Wonderful host and a nice house

"We spend one week and we really feel confortable in this nice cottage. Cliff and Barbara are wonderful people, very kind and always ready to help us but also very discreet. Cliff is a gardening lovers and has beautiful flowers in the alleys around the house. The place is very quiet and serene, with only the sound of birds and squirrels to wake you in the morning. The chalet is very comfortable and clean, spacious and well equipped. We were two couples and the two washrooms were very convenient. We did a great kayak trip on the river and ate delicious Malpeque oysters on Cliff advice. Truly a place to recommend if you want to discover western PEI and meet friendly people."
