"My family of 5 (children late teens/early 20s) had a fabulous Christmas and New Years stay at Mandoo. The house is exactly as you see in the photos. It might not be fancy, but it more than compensates with comfort, space and the most incredible location. The house is perfectly situated on the saddle of a peninsula with ocean views in both directions. The grounds are extensive so you feel unconstrained and relaxed. Rooms were spacious and had great views. Love the outdoor shower too. Kitchen is functional but if you are a Julia Childs you would be feeling constrained. Beds were comfortable. We did rent a car through Guys (they dropped it at the house) as we wanted the freedom to explore, but used Owen's taxi service to get to and from the airport (which was a good decision). Activities that we can highly recommend include: Jus Sail: private 1/2 day sailing on beautifully restored Carriacou Sloop Exodus: private motor boat charter for 1/2 day to take us down to Pitons Zip Lining: If you haven't done before, it's a great setting. Try to avoid the cruise ship crowd. Aquaholics Kite Surfing in Cas em Bas - what a rush, and fantastic setting Cas em Bas hiking with most stunning ocean views and secluded beaches Visit to Marigold bay Visit to Anse Couchon for snorkeling and/or scuba We also used Windjammer for beaching and walked down the cove from there to East Winds Inn beach as its more secluded. Weather was fantastic. Went to a lot of different restaurants and was impressed with quality of food for the Carribean. Mary Anne and Anthony were very helpful and unobtrusive. All in it was a great vacation. We feel extremely lucky that the Morgans have made their house available. It is quite the spot."

  • Wonderful place to stay

"This place is amazing. It's very comfortable and relaxing. The view of the Caribbean is great. Having a private pool is the best! John and his local staff are wonderful. They will take care of whatever you need. John answered all our questions and made our trip easier. We rented a car which was delivered right to the villa. We were close to great restaurants, beaches and Rodney Bay Marina. If you're looking for something quiet and with privacy, this is it! We ate breakfast every morning on the veranda with an amazing view of the Caribbean. Also, the sunsets are gorgeous whether your relaxing in the pool or lounging on the veranda. The housekeeper Luenda and on island agent Ena are very friendly and very helpful. Luenda will even cook you a meal or shop for you. We even arranged for a couples massage on the veranda which was so relaxing. This place has incredible charm and is the perfect place for that romantic trip where you can avoid the masses. Overall, this was an incredible honeymoon for my wife and I. Thanks John for having it available. It was truly a vacation of a lifetime."

  • Amazing and perfect in every way!

"Clarence is a great guy! He was helpful from the time of reservation and all the way until our departure from the island. He picked us up from the airport and dropped us off. His amazing wife made it a point to meet us on the day of our arrival. During his spare time he took us to the malls and tour of the island. We never got to rent a car. A call to him would help you if you need to know about restaurants or bars. He even helped us buy grocery and essentials. Rooms are okay for the price you pay, basic but completely furnished. Wifi is available but weak. He is planning to fix it. You have a grocery store within walking distance. I would recommend his apartments for singles and couples or group of two. We were there to watch a cricket match and it was worth it. For those who plan to drive make sure you call him and try to get a prepaid cellphone. In St Lucia most homes do not have a street address and difficult to locate on GPS."

  • Romantic gateway with true St Lucian soul

"We stayed four blessed days at Cap Pavilion and considered ourselves super fortunate since the day we stepped in this astonishing property. We went back and forth between going to a hotel or renting a villa and are so happy that we chose the villa. The location- with 360 degree views of the ocean- is outstanding. 5-10 min drive to beaches, in an isolated, quiet, residential neighborhood. Sandrine, who oversees the property made our stay so special. We had al the meals at home, except for one, which we regretted. There is nothing like seating in the outdoor, open living room, with an impeccably set dinner table (think linen), tasting some of the most incredible authentic Caribbean food. The house is spacious, impeccably kept, super clean and with a true island style, white against green and blue. Wonderful in every way, we are already talking about coming back! Thank you!!!"
