  • Words Can't Describe How Wonderful

"Our first trip to Grace Bay and it won't be our last! This condo is in the perfect spot on the perfect beach. The condo is well equipped, nicely decorated and very comfortable. You cannot get any closer to the beach. The pictures do not do it justice. The staff at Villa Renaissance is friendly and very helpful. There is no need for a car. Plenty of restaurants (The Vix was our favorite) and the grocery store are all in walking distance, and the excursions will pick you up on the beach or in the Villa's lobby. We highly recommend Villa Renaissance, and unit 105 is outstanding. We will definitely be back!"

  • Perfect unit in a perfect resort on a perfect beach!

"Villa Renaissance is like your own elegant private little world on Grace Bay. It is located on the west end of Grace Bay close enough to walk to everything, but far enough to be away from the big resorts with all the chairs on the beach. Just a pristine, private area of Grace Bay with miles of beach walking in either direction. This was our first time staying at Villa Renaissance. We stayed in this ground floor unit just steps to the ocean. We loved being on the ground floor! The unit is a perfect amount of space for two people and the furnishings are very tasteful. The view was breathtaking, true to the pictures here on VRBO. What we liked most about the ground floor unit is you could just walk a few steps to the beach from the unit, so it felt like you were living right on the water. The unit was perfect -- every need was thought of, from laundry detergent to wash our swim suits daily to snorkel equipment to great daily maid service to a cell phone with minutes. Mel from management took great care of us. Corell at the front desk greeted us every morning with a big smile and since he grew up on the island, he told us all the fun things to do. I'll never forget his thoughtfulness on my birthday -- he surprised me and called the restaurant and had them set off fireworks on the beach while they sang me happy birthday. I cried, I was so touched. Grace Bay on Turks & Caicos is one of my favorite beaches in the world, Villa Renaissance is the perfect, private place to stay on Grace Bay, and this unit was just perfect for us!"

  • Wonderful Family Vacation

"We arrived on 9-20 for a very overdue family vacation. Linda was very welcoming and gave us a ton of info about the area and also all the amenities of the main house before she left. We also met Edson our first day and were immediately in love with him. Our first night and second nights were uneventful and we slept well. We went to the fish fry Thursday evening and had an absolute blast being around tons of locals as well as other tourists. The food is spectacular and inexpensive compared to some of the other places on the island. We went home, and after some great family time on the west patio, we all turned in for the night. About 4:30 that morning the alarm went off and we all came jumping out of bed. The security company called almost immediately and we told them what had happened and they arrived within 10 minutes to check things out. They did not find anything, and we all went back to bed for a bit. We got back up about 7 and after breakfast as we were headed out to Chalk Sound for the day, we noticed the screen had been cut near the front entry way - so we immediately contacted Linda and Alfonzo - who came to the house within about 30 minutes. They also found some palm prints on one of the bedroom sliding doors where someone had apparently tried to slide it open. So, for the remainder of our trip - Edson was our bodyguard and property patrol - he was up all night long making rounds of the property and when he would see that we were up, he would go to bed. This helped us feel more secure, as my daughter and son-in-law's bedroom was the one that they had tried to get into - and she was pretty upset about it, as would be expected. We had no more issues with this the entire time we were there. The house is wonderful - the view from the front room takes your breath away - having a laundry onsite it WONDERFUL! We were next door at Beach House nearly every day of our stay - letting "The Sherminator" take care of our needs. They were so gracious in letting us use their beach chairs and water equipment. Since we went in the off-season, no place was ever very busy. Some of the restaurants close for renovations, so we were sad that we couldn't take the kids to Heminway's or Coco Bistro, but we did eat at Mango Reef, Tiki Hut, Sharkbite, and Baci. Also Giggles ice cream! :) Take lots of money - as groceries are ridiculous. But you will NEVER see water this color anywhere else in the world! So it's worth it!"

  • The Captain's Suite

"How about I put it this way: if he ever sells it... consider it S O L D ... I'll buy it! It really is a very nice place to stay while visiting the islands.. It was clean, with nice, nice personal touches that most rental units do not offer. I really can't think of one thing I would add to the unit or change to enhance the stay. I will tell you this... I have stayed at several places and Will did a lot of thought on what to add, what to change, and what to leave alone in the unit. He even has a backup coffee maker if that one would fail! I really can no express what a nice place it is. Not only the Unit, but the Resort, the view, the beach, everything.. You will enjoy your stay."
