  • Wonderful Family Vacation

"We arrived on 9-20 for a very overdue family vacation. Linda was very welcoming and gave us a ton of info about the area and also all the amenities of the main house before she left. We also met Edson our first day and were immediately in love with him. Our first night and second nights were uneventful and we slept well. We went to the fish fry Thursday evening and had an absolute blast being around tons of locals as well as other tourists. The food is spectacular and inexpensive compared to some of the other places on the island. We went home, and after some great family time on the west patio, we all turned in for the night. About 4:30 that morning the alarm went off and we all came jumping out of bed. The security company called almost immediately and we told them what had happened and they arrived within 10 minutes to check things out. They did not find anything, and we all went back to bed for a bit. We got back up about 7 and after breakfast as we were headed out to Chalk Sound for the day, we noticed the screen had been cut near the front entry way - so we immediately contacted Linda and Alfonzo - who came to the house within about 30 minutes. They also found some palm prints on one of the bedroom sliding doors where someone had apparently tried to slide it open. So, for the remainder of our trip - Edson was our bodyguard and property patrol - he was up all night long making rounds of the property and when he would see that we were up, he would go to bed. This helped us feel more secure, as my daughter and son-in-law's bedroom was the one that they had tried to get into - and she was pretty upset about it, as would be expected. We had no more issues with this the entire time we were there. The house is wonderful - the view from the front room takes your breath away - having a laundry onsite it WONDERFUL! We were next door at Beach House nearly every day of our stay - letting "The Sherminator" take care of our needs. They were so gracious in letting us use their beach chairs and water equipment. Since we went in the off-season, no place was ever very busy. Some of the restaurants close for renovations, so we were sad that we couldn't take the kids to Heminway's or Coco Bistro, but we did eat at Mango Reef, Tiki Hut, Sharkbite, and Baci. Also Giggles ice cream! :) Take lots of money - as groceries are ridiculous. But you will NEVER see water this color anywhere else in the world! So it's worth it!"

  • Fabulous Holiday

"We have just returned from another amazing stay on Provo and our 2nd year in a row in this unit. We travelled with our 2 children and my mother and father in law and everything was perfect. The condo has lots of space, great amenities and wonderful beds, pillows and linens. The location is ideal as it is in the heart of Grace Bay with shopping and restaurants all close by. The owner is great to deal with and so are the staff he has onsite while you are there. They provided excellent daily service and are available for any unforeseen issues. I highly recommend this unit and The Regent Grand to anyone looking for a top notch vacation."

  • Great Experience at Bella Sur Mer

"This villa was just perfect space-wise for our two families (3 couples, 2 teenagers). The landscaping is very lush with lots of colorful flowers, and the pool area is fantastic, perfect for hanging out especially at night. The views of the water from the house are stunningly beautiful, and it was a very short walk down to the beach. Smith's Reef is directly in front of the house and extends to both sides, so we were able to easily snorkel whenever we wanted. The inside of the house is very pretty and clean, with two bedrooms upstairs and two below, and everything we needed such as towels, kitchen items, even bug spray and sunscreens were provided. The caretaker Cari met us at the house upon arrival, made sure we were oriented and settled in, called to check on us part-way through, and did some light cleaning one morning. Turtle Cove Marina is a five-minute walk, with restaurants Sharkbites, Tiki Hut, and Mango Reef (the best). While the villa is a little distance from the resorts and other eating places, all were within a short drive, and a well-stocked IGA grocery store is less than a mile away. We really enjoyed our shopping at the Saltmills and Regent Village. We had a wonderful half-day private snorkeling tour with Island Vibes, and they arranged a spur-of-the-moment parasailing experience for us that same afternoon. Back to the villa: unfortunately only the bedrooms have air conditioning, and the main areas during the middle of the day became unbearably hot (we were there the end of July, which of course is the off-season with higher temperatures). A posting from the owner says there are plans to install AC there soon. It's truly a wonderful villa with a great location, and with more AC added, we would definitely consider coming back!"

  • I loved this rental!

"I opened the door of this unit and was instantly impressed by the decor, cleanliness, and beautiful views beyond two separate glass sliding doors. This immersed the unit with just the right sunlight and avoided the "boxed-in" feeling created by most hotel rooms and many other condo rentals. This was the first time staying on a ground floor unit, and I must say it enhanced our island getaway experience. Our family enjoyed being able to walk right out the back terrace, strolling steps to the pool and beach. The entire terrace and back of the wrap-around unit is lushly landscaped with pathway leading up to the unit. There is a sizable distance between the back terrace and pedestrian paths, which created privacy. Random thoughts: ~Family room was comfortable with a sizable Plasma T.V., featuring a myriad of international cable channels. ~Kitchen was generously stocked. Nice coordinating dinnerware. I especially was impressed with the extra garbage bags, liquid soap, and laundry detergent. ~ The master bed was comfortable and cozy. ~Everything in great working order. ~A bit of a learning curve to shower faucet for me (once you get it it's simple) ~The gym at OCW looks brand new and afforded a great work with newer equipment. ~Front door area very clean, overall very clean complex. ~We enjoyed lazy-river shaped pool. Unit offered water toys, snorkel mask, and floats ~Ocean Club West is perfect for R&R. Very tranquil and casual. No need to bring your vogue cover-ups to walk through a commercialized lobby. ~We ate most days and nights at OCW's Seaside Cafe which was 60 seconds away from our unit. We loved the food and breath-taking views of Grace Bay. Many awesome restaurants in walking distance that we'd gone to in the past, but we just got too comfortable at OCW to leave! ~Snorkeling trip was a hit with our family. We went with Caicos Tours, but several years back we toured with Island Vibes and had an equally great time. ~Owners great to deal with and rent from! They work with a management company on the island, which were in constant communication with us until our arrival, and made us feel they'd be available to address any issues. In conclusion, this rental undoubtedly helped create a memorable and relaxing trip at world famous Grace Bay. I usually get homesick by the 3rd night, but I felt at home in this unit. We would certainly rent this unit again! Thank you very much for sharing your unit!"
