  • Great Vacation!

"We Stayed in the Villa this past January and absolutely loved it. My husband and I host a yearly couples retreat with 4 other couples, everyone is in agreement that this was the best year! The villa is incredibly spacious and provided more than enough room for the 5 couples. We loved having our own bathroom attached to our room, it added an extra level of privacy for each of the couples. Although we loved the restaurants that Provo has to offer (coco bistro was our favourite), I especially enjoyed cooking in the villa. The kitchen is quite spacious, we loved having the bar overlooking the kitchen so everyone could sit around and chat well we where cooking. My husbands favourite part of the villa was the pool, each end has a set of stairs making it perfect for lounging in the pool with a drink! Every time we went for a swim we felt as if we were at a fancy hotel, we loved the modern stone surrounding it! Courtney, the property manager, was great. She made booking easy and answered any additional questions we had about the island! Thanks for a great vacation, we will definitely be back."

  • Excellent property, unit needs some maintenance

"This was our first trip to Turks and Cacaos and it didn't disappoint. My husband and our two teenage daughters stayed in this condo for 10 days over the holidays. The location is perfect! We walked or biked just about everywhere: the grocery store, Hemingway's, Grace's Cottage, The Deck at Seven Stars, and of course Lemon 2 Go for coffee in the mornings. Corell, the concierge, did a great job setting us up with dinner reservations and a really fun day trip to North and Middle Cacaos. The pool, beach, and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful, and the grounds are immaculate. The beach is stunning. We felt like we were living in a postcard! We loved that this condo is on the first floor so we could walk straight out to the beach. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. I would recommend asking for extra blankets, though, because the beds only have very thin blankets on them and there are no extras in the closets. The reason that we gave this condo 4 stars instead of 5 is that there were several maintenance issues, which caused us more stress than we counted on during our vacation. The washing machine and dryer were both broken, and they were finally replaced on day 7 of our stay. Thankfully the awesome staff at Villa Renaissance arranged for our laundry to be done during that time, but this was not as convenient as being able to do it ourselves. The front door sticks and needs some serious muscle to lock, and the glass sliding doors which are the showpiece of the place only open about 18 inches. With just a little more attention to detail, this condo could be perfect. We hope to return!"

  • Comfortable condo in excellent location!

"We stayed in room 101a for 2 weeks. We loved the location being able to walk out the door and have restaurants, ice cream shops, bakery, coffee shops, and shopping right there. It was safe and we didn't have to worry about getting home before dark since things were so close. The walk to the beach was only about 4 minutes. The condo had no balcony but we were fine with that. It was a decent size. Perfect for a couple. The pool was nice and quiet since it's a small complex. Like another reviewer said there was loud music at night coming from the nearby bar but it was only on weekends and didn't bother us. We had no problems and everything was convenient for us. Easy check in process, everything is there for you. Chairs, coolers, umbrella were provided for the beach. Because we stayed for 2 weeks they provided us a free cleaning mid stay for us which was nice. They also accommodated a late checkout for us which was great! The only small thing I would recommend is more hangars for the closet. If they could provide a small area on the beach with permanent sun loungers and an umbrella this place would be perfect! Then you wouldn't have to carry your chairs to the beach. We would stay here again for sure! Possibly next year again......"

  • The property is beautiful. In my opinion it is on the nicest stretch of Grace Bay.

"The condo was very clean and bright and well cared for. There is one big room with a king bed, and a smaller bed with a queen bed. Very nice and well equipped kitchen with modern functional appliances, coffee maker, etc. We ate our breakfast and lunch in the condo. We went out for dinner every evening, although you could certainly cook a meal easily in the condo. Very nice barbeque grill on the deck. Our unit was 102 which was one the ground level and very convenient. The condo unit is one of 18, I believe, and the grounds and entire building is very well cared for. Nice landscaping, pool, hot tub, seating, etc. Easy walkway directly to beach with nice chairs and umbrellas. The beach is wide, not crowded, and beautiful. Great walking in both directions for miles. We rented a car, and this allowed us to explore the island. We went up to the Northwest to da Conch Shack, Southwest to Bugaloos, Taylor Bay, Chalk Sound, and ate a great meal at Las Brisas. We drove to the Leeward side of the island to Pelican Bay, and all of the homes in that area. Restaurants closer to the condo that we enjoyed very much were Coyaba $$$$, Bay Bistro $$$, Infinity $$$, and Lupo $$. All were excellent. This was a very enjoyable trip. The island is quite expensive, but not crowded, and very easy to get around. We will be back."
