  • Luxury, Privacy and Comfort on the World's Most Idyllic Beach

"Grace Too Villas is all you need...look no further. The Villa: The Villa itself, tucked into the most beautiful grounds, imposes immediate serenity with it's lofty ceilings, exposed beams and open concept...all washed out in clean white with splashes of Caribbean colors. The layout offers ample space for indoor cooking, dining and entertaining large groups. Spacious and airy with enormous windows looking out to the ocean, even being inside the villa exposes you to the beauty and tranquility of Turks and Caicos. The pool: The pool area between the Villa and the beach provides ample space for lounging and enjoying the privacy of the property while affording an unobstructed view of the powdery beach and crystal blue water. The pool area is particularly lovely at night with a lighting feature that soothingly changes shades adding a romantic atmosphere under a sky with unspoiled views of the stars. Beach: Just a few steps away from the pool, you will have access to one of the most beautiful stretches of beach in the world where you can walk for miles, snorkel, and access a range of excellent restaurants. Within walking distance, do not miss: * The Somewhere Bar for casual food and drinks * Stelle (at the Gaansevoort) for fine dining * Thursday Evening Fish Fry for local entertainment, food stalls and crafts If you can manage to tear yourself away from the serenity of Grace Too Villas, book a day on the sea for snorkeling among beautiful tropical fish and rays, exploring parts of the island and a beach cook-up (I would suggest Island Vibes), go parasailing from the beach, or kayak and paddle board on the turquoise water (kayaks and paddle boards provided by the Villa). Those who are keen to venture further will benefit from renting a car or hiring a service to take you around the island. Grace Too Villas is everything."

  • Overall a nice experience but with a few cons

"For what we needed it was good. It is a lovely 2 bedroom cottage that is close to everything, the kitchen had most basic items you would need. There was also a washer and dryer if needed and yes thank god the road is now paved. Chandra was helpful in purchasing a new coffee pot when the one provided quit working although initially she didn't want to but was very helpfull when pressed. Some cons are; - There could be a few more kitchen implements that could make it a little more functional and less of hardship - The bed in the master bedroom is not at all comfortable - They do nickel and dime you with electricity. They only allow about $4 (24kwh) of electricity per day if you go over that you have to pay. The amount that they provide isn't even enough for basic usage, the amount they allow is the amount a house would need to operate without anyone there so basically you're paying for what ever you use. We used the tv a little in the morning and evening, the stove and coffee pot for breakfast. We were gone all day, turning lights and air conditioning off. In fact we only used air conditioning for sleeping. I used the washing machine and dryer 1 time, thats it and we still had to pay. If you're a family (it was just my husband and I ) or plan on use air conditioning, laundry or cooking more than we did, you'll pay and more then we did. I only mention this because it doesn't mention this anywhere in the listing, they spring it on you once your there. Now don't get me wrong I think they need to have something in place for excessive energy users but I think they need to allow more then they do, it's literally nothing at all. - They don't provide much for the beach only towels (and a good amount of towels) and a cooler. I was told there is umbrellas and chairs on the beach but they don't mention those are for resort guests only and if your like us and want to go to the other beaches TCI has to offer where there aren't any resorts, there is nothing. We paid about $300 for umbrella, snorkel gear and other beach necessities, we left the umbrella there for other guests to use who might be in the same predicament we were in. They didn't take that into account when charging me for electricity but I do realize the property manager didn't ask me to furnish them with a beach umbrella. But since people go to TCI for the beach I feel that is something they should of had in their "beach arsenal" (as well as beach chairs) for their guests. Overall it was good"

  • Wonderful! Beautiful! Relaxing! Fun!

"My husband and I have traveled to many Caribbean Islands and definitely have ranked Turks and Caicos as our favorite!!! Our room at Coral Gardens was very nice and had beautiful views! The condo was also very spacious and was equipped with everything we needed. The whole entire staff was incredible and so eager to make our vacation so relaxing and fun! We had the most fun just spending time every day on the beach snorkeling, swimming and meeting so many nice people from all over the world! Somewhere Café which is right on the property was awesome! The service, food and staff was wonderful!!! The owner of Somewhere Café (Luis) runs a top notch restaurant! So to sum this vacation up( if you can't tell already) it was probably the best vacation my husband and I have been on in 23 years of our marriage! Thank you Nancy so much for renting your beautiful piece of paradise to us and we will definitely come back again and again!!!!"

  • Excellent property, unit needs some maintenance

"This was our first trip to Turks and Cacaos and it didn't disappoint. My husband and our two teenage daughters stayed in this condo for 10 days over the holidays. The location is perfect! We walked or biked just about everywhere: the grocery store, Hemingway's, Grace's Cottage, The Deck at Seven Stars, and of course Lemon 2 Go for coffee in the mornings. Corell, the concierge, did a great job setting us up with dinner reservations and a really fun day trip to North and Middle Cacaos. The pool, beach, and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful, and the grounds are immaculate. The beach is stunning. We felt like we were living in a postcard! We loved that this condo is on the first floor so we could walk straight out to the beach. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. I would recommend asking for extra blankets, though, because the beds only have very thin blankets on them and there are no extras in the closets. The reason that we gave this condo 4 stars instead of 5 is that there were several maintenance issues, which caused us more stress than we counted on during our vacation. The washing machine and dryer were both broken, and they were finally replaced on day 7 of our stay. Thankfully the awesome staff at Villa Renaissance arranged for our laundry to be done during that time, but this was not as convenient as being able to do it ourselves. The front door sticks and needs some serious muscle to lock, and the glass sliding doors which are the showpiece of the place only open about 18 inches. With just a little more attention to detail, this condo could be perfect. We hope to return!"
