  • Great stay

"My wife and two young kids stayed here for eight days and the trip was perfect. The townhouses (I gather they are all the same) are comparatively spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable, especially when compared to cramming into a hotel room or a one bedroom apartment. Grace Bay beach was convenient and beautiful (we walked a few times, which took us about 10 minutes, but found it easier to drive rather than carry our two year old, beach supplies, and chairs) and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, including an ice cream shop and french bakery on the other end of the private walkway. The pool is small, but perfect for young children. We saved a small fortune staying here. The nightly rate was a fraction of the rate for resorts (according to expedia, it was about $700 per night less than the cost of a room at Seven Stars, which is a 5 minute walk away) and because we were able to cook many meals. While we didn't need much help once we were settled, our hosts were extremely gracious and really dedicated to making it as easy an experience as possible. We got lost on the way there and they waited at the house an extra hour. They gave us a thorough overview of the house and the island. And they make checking out a breeze. I can't recommend staying here highly enough."

  • Fantastic property, location, and clean on arrival. Owner was prompt to answer and help at anytime.

"This condo unit is not only cheaper than resort rates, but the benefit of having less people to share aquatic equipment, beach butlers, and ease of arrival and departure makes this a no brainier. This property provided everything we needed for our stay at the island, and going off of the owners well crafted list of places to eat, and activities to take part in gave us a whole week of entertainment with minimal planning ahead. Dont be fooled by the price, this is the real deal! Very professional and very responsive."

  • Excellent property, unit needs some maintenance

"This was our first trip to Turks and Cacaos and it didn't disappoint. My husband and our two teenage daughters stayed in this condo for 10 days over the holidays. The location is perfect! We walked or biked just about everywhere: the grocery store, Hemingway's, Grace's Cottage, The Deck at Seven Stars, and of course Lemon 2 Go for coffee in the mornings. Corell, the concierge, did a great job setting us up with dinner reservations and a really fun day trip to North and Middle Cacaos. The pool, beach, and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful, and the grounds are immaculate. The beach is stunning. We felt like we were living in a postcard! We loved that this condo is on the first floor so we could walk straight out to the beach. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. I would recommend asking for extra blankets, though, because the beds only have very thin blankets on them and there are no extras in the closets. The reason that we gave this condo 4 stars instead of 5 is that there were several maintenance issues, which caused us more stress than we counted on during our vacation. The washing machine and dryer were both broken, and they were finally replaced on day 7 of our stay. Thankfully the awesome staff at Villa Renaissance arranged for our laundry to be done during that time, but this was not as convenient as being able to do it ourselves. The front door sticks and needs some serious muscle to lock, and the glass sliding doors which are the showpiece of the place only open about 18 inches. With just a little more attention to detail, this condo could be perfect. We hope to return!"
